Shana heard the voices of the villagers this was the first time outside of a battle that she had heard the voices. Through all the maham she heard a new voice, Wow, there's lots of junk in your head... Shana jumped as she saw her cat, You can talk?!? Well, you know those new spells, well one of them lets me use the spells and magic you have, so yes I can speak to you and others through my mind! Cool hunh? Shana knoded, and looked down the falls. Wanna go for a swim? She knew she didn't need to speak to use the spells, and cummunicate with the cat now. Last one in's a rotten egg! Dutchess ran towards the falls, and jumped, Shana followed, and when she caught up to the cat spred her wings and dropped into the water, from only a few feet in the air. She swam out to the edge as did the cat. She looked back to the waterfall, and remembered a terrible memorie, and another voice rang into her mind, it was Tasha Segron's, a water nymph, it had been so long since she had traveled, and since she had seen her old friends. It did pain her, but she knew they were safer when she wasn't there, they had been attacked by her dead fiance, that was a love that almost killed a goddess, luckily she had put him in the ground for good. She hopped, but for now she pushed it out of her mind and listened to Dutchess ramble on and on about things she had dissagreed with but couldn't say anything about. She smiled at the little cat, as she lay there telling all of her thoughts and opinions.

Raku walked through the water which was growing quicker by the second. He was wating to get to the waterfall so he could jump off and swim in the deeper water. He then came to the waterfall and dived down without looking before he jumped. His new armor allowed him to breath underwater, so he decided to stay under water. He sat down at the bottom of the fall and grabbed a small fish and squeezed the life out of it. He then ate the fish and spat out the bones. He threw the bones out of the water and they landed on the edge of the water. The waves pushed the bones onto the land and kept them there.

Shana looked to the shore, and saw the bones, she shuddered. Does that remind you of anything Dutchess? The cat looked over to the fish bones and said hungryly. Yes, the lunch i haven't had yet... Shana shook her head as the cat walked into some near by trees. Shana looked at the bones remembering her friends mutilated body. What a horrible way to die... She muttered this to herself, and steped into the water, the cold waters felt good on her aching musscels, she sat down in a shallower part of it, and played with the surface with the tips of her wings.

He turned his head to the other side. He then saw a girl sitting down at the water's edge. The girl had wings which Raku then relized she wasn't human.....more like an angel. He hated the light and angels were a constant reminder of the light. Raku grabbed his ice wand and slowly rose out of the water. The water fell off of his face and into the water, his armor released the water that had been in it. He pointed his wand at the girls and fired a magic missle at her. His eyes were enraged and fixed on her. "Die!"

Shana stood up and flew to the same hight as the man who was attacking her, she used her spell light, to make his figure glow. I'm not gonna die that easily, didn't the first time either! She remembered death quite vivadly, dark and dismal, with a single light at the end. She drew an arrow in her bow of icey doom, and used true flight arrow, and realeased the arrow towards the light. Noticing the missle she dodged and flapped out of its way. You'll have to do better then that! She wasn't going down without a fight and hopped this guy got the hint.

Raku retreated into the water as soon as the light spell was cast. He went down to the bottom of the falls and began to scream. "I hate the light! I can't stand it....ahhh..." He waited until his vision cleared before he resurfaced. When he reached the top he pointed his wand at the girl's right wing. He then cast ignite on her wing, hoping to burn the wing so that she would be grounded. "How is this for better!"

Shana screamed in agony, she flapped her other wing and went into a spin towards the ground. She lay there unmoving, for a little while, until it hit her he hated the light, she was an angel, the very child of light. She ot up. You know it takes a while to grow back those feathers... She looked around for the biggest thing she could find, and decided on the water that they were near. She cast her light spell over it, hopping to cripple him as he had done to her.

Raku fell into the water again and closed his eyes. His eyes burned so bad, had swam to the edge of the water on the other side of the water and climbed out. He fell to the ground and rubbed his eyes. He then turned invisible and fired an enervation spell at her last position, because he was still not looking at the water. He wanted to make sure that the light spell wasn't working. Though he may have missed her, she couldn't hit him yet, which gave him time to recover. He slowly turned around to see the light spell was no longer in affect.

Shana felt to much pain to be able to hold the spell for very long, and stumbled to her feet, and ran back into the shadows. I knew this would come in handy! She used her shadow dancing to hide until she could get a better grasp on her situation. She was sitting underneath a large tree, and she heard a voice and almost jumped. Shana, whats going on, I her another person, please tell me! Shana hesitated, it was Dutchess, and she did have a right to know. Stay where you are, and run if I tell you, this guy is crazy he just started attacking me, but stay hidden no matter what you hear. Shana then drew an arrow, and looked out to see if she could get a clear shot.

Raku looked around to see nothing. "Where are you!" He thought for a moment then started to read her mind. He tried to pick up even the smallest fragment of where she was. He continued to read her mind while he turned visible again. He was having a hard time trying to find her, all she seemed to think about was death. He swam to the other side of the water where she was before he was blinded. He looked around trying to see any signs of movement. "I know you are out there." He knew she couldn't have gotten to far in the short amount of time he had been blinded. He then heard another voice. "I am coming for you." He started off toward the voice. He could see a large tree about ten feet away from him. He continued walking and readied his weapon. He then pointed his wand at the tree and cast another ignite spell.

Shana screamed as the spell hit the tree behind her, she jumped forward, and wipped her mind blank excpet for the thought forbidding Dutchess to come. She ran towards the forest, her eyes growing gray, and her wings became a little darker, she let the arrow go from a new hidding place in the shadows. She hopped it hit, she was running out of arrows, she had only half a quiver left. She ran from tree to tree, If I die this time I won't come back at least... She thought this to herself, and it was something that she acctually looked forward to, but not by this guy, but herself.

Raku saw the arrow fly towards him and raised his wand. The arrow flew up into the air then back down where it was fired from. You fool, I can't die by you.....I am going to eat your brains! He pointed his wand into the air and meteors started to fall from the sky around the forest. "I know you are in there some where. One of them is going to hit you. If they don't I will." Raku was having fun, it had been a while since he had played cat and mouse. He then watched as one of the meteors hit a tree and set it on fire. The tree fell over and started to speard to the forest floor. Well at least you will burn to death, rather than me killing you.....I would do far worse than the fire. He laughed at the sight of the forest starting to catch fire. He then pointed his wand at some of the trees and they burst into flames. "I am just helping the fire grow. If you come out now I will let you live." Which of course was a lie. He waited for her to come out or to scream in pain.

Shana held back her screaming, she wouldn't let this guy get the better of her. Dutchess you get out of the trees now find a pond and let me know where it is. Shana heard her small responce, and dodged through the burning trees, but couldn't hold back the scream that escaped her. Her left wing had been hit by some embers, and was now burning, she could smell the feathers and skin bubling, and heard it sizzeling. Shana to the north of the falls, there's a small pond hurry! Shana ran through the trees at a fast pace, but wasn't fast enough, a tree had fallen and blocked her way. She sat down and began to cry. I don't wanna die again, not again, why do I always, have to get killed by an insane freak when i want to live, and when i do want to die, they're never there.... She yelled into the air, and it was followed by a howl of pain, and screaming. The flames had come in on her, I held out longer the last time, I can stand the pain...Oh who am i kidding, I can't stand it! These thoughts she kept to herself, as she screamed, and tried to get rid of the fire that had found its way onto her, but couldn't. She ran back towards the falls, when she saw the water she was greatful, but she had forgotten about her attacker. She ran towards the water still ablaze, running blindly towards the relife from the heat, releaf from the burning.

Raku became slightly surprised when he saw Shana run out of the woods and towards the water. He laughed evily. He then pointed his wand at the water and cast control winds. The water flew out and onto the ground, the water soon soaked up into the ground. Raku then watched more of the water pour into the stream from the fall. He saw some nearby rocks and used telekinesis to throw the rocks on the top fall, which prevented most of the water from getting to Shana.

He then used ignite to evaporate the remaining water. "What now little girl! Soon your brains will be mine!" He twirled his wand around in the air and laughed madly.

Shana looked at him her eyes had turned pitch black and what reamaining feathers she had did so aswell, her hair was black as well. Her curse was finially taking over as she let the soulsenter her and take control. Little girl? Little girl?!? I'm 1500 years old, I would hope I'm not so little any more! Her voice wasn't the same as it had been, there were voices of thousands of people behind it, this was what happened when she got mad or into a fight. She drew her sword. I will not be killed by an evil phyco maniac, not again at least! She charged towards him, using her own magic now. She used control winds to push herself along faster towards him, and used her telepathy to spam his mind and meddle with his thoughts, by placing all the voices of so many that had been sloughtered by her father.

He watched as she charged at him. His mind started to gain her thoughts. " You fool you might know telepathy, but I am a mind flayer. My mind is stronger than yours." He had killed many and never thought twice, so he was fine with all the voices of death.

He then used blink to go behind the woman. He then slowed down time and walked towards Shana. He pointed his wand directly at her head and fired an empowered magic missle spell. He was growing tired of this game and was going to finish her once and for all. "Die fool!"

Shana screamed as the missle hit, but was silent after, she fell to the ground, her body now limp. She laid unmoving, not even breath escaped her. Shana was dead.

Dutchess was worried as she stood by the small pool of water, she couldn't tap into Shana's mind anymore. This worried her deeply, but with the flames still roaring she couldn't do anything about what might be happening. She let out a long slow deep, but quiet meow. She feared the worst, and was right to do so.
