Sephiroth was tired of failing, he was tired of his plans being ruined by Aeri. Sephiroth had a plan he would free the demon atop the mountain then he would steal its power and take them for himself. If he could accomplish this goal then not even Aeri would be able to stop him from Killing all of the humans. Freeing the demon would take time but he had plenty of that. Sephiroth walked up the mountain laughing he knew that he would finally be able to acheive his goal of killing every single human. Their wasn't another soul in sight nobody would be able to stop him. As he continued up to the top of the mountain he was reminded of a dream he had been having. Sephiroth stoped if the dream was really a vision then he would be killed after freeing the demon.

Lately every time he fell asleep he had a dream, Sephiroth was ontop of a mountain when suddenly two demons appeared behind him he turned and reached for his sword but it was gone suddenly the demons jumped on top of him throwing him off the side of the cliff all three of them always died.

A girl was walking up the mountain as well, not paying attention when she bumps into him."Oh, sorry."She gets up.

Sephiroth looked at the girl "Watch were you'r going!" Sephiroth was angry not because she had bumped into him but because she had been on the mountain and he did not see her what made him even more angry was that she was human. He continued up the mountain Sephiroth didn't have time to deal with her he would kill her after freeing the demon but for now he had only one goal in mind. 'Power' and he would have that once he freed the demon and stole what he was after. Sephiroth suddenly realized that she might be able to help him he would manipulate her as he had done to so many others. Sephiroth walked back to where he had left the girl "Do you know anything about magic?"

She nods."But I can't use it, it's ancient magic. I'm just an archer."

Sephiroth looked at her and smiled "That will do just fine, follow me." he said then turned and walked up the mountain toward the statue. Now he couldn't fail if she was telling the truth and really did have knowledge of the ancient magic, the same magic that sealed the demon. Then he wouldn't have to waist his time trying to figure out the incantation he would just have her do everything for him then he would kill her. Normally he would never have excepted help from a human but he wanted the power this demon could give him and he wouldn't rest until he had it. "The minds of humans are so easily manipulated" he thought to himself.

She follows, getting out her bow and quiver untrustingly.

Sephiroth noticed she was now holding her bow could she somehow know what he was trying to do? Was that even possible, Sephiroth was intrigued by her actions the only weapon she carried was a bow and some arrows usless at such close range yet she was preparing to use them anyways. This was the first human he had met with enough courage to use such a weapon against him. Sephiroth turned to face her he had to erase any dought inside her now or his chances of freeing the demon would be even less than they already where "Tell me why you hold your bow? Their isn't anyone around except for the two of us and I have not harmed you."

"I don't trust strangers, especially when I don't know their names."

Sephiroth looked at her he didn't normally just give out his name but this time he had to make an exception. "I am Sephiroth." he hoped she hadn't heard of him before after all he had almost destroyed kellen single handedly if it hadn't been for Aeri and totally wiped out Talas with the help of Zorgn and Ansem. Now she had no reason to hold her waepon against him so he hoped she would put it down wether she trusted him or not. Afer telling her his name he turned and continued to walk up the mountain they were nearing the top and he didn't want anymore distaractions.

She frowns, but follows, keeping the bow at her side, but not drawn.

Sephiroth continued walking until he reached the top of the mountain he still felt a little threatened by the bow she had with her but soon she would be standing in front of him. Sephiroth looked at her "How do I break the curse on that statue." he was tired of playing games with her he had waited a long time for this and now he was going to get what he came here for. He watched her carefully and was ready for anything if she was one of the few peaple who knew the truth about the statue she wouldn't help him and he was prepared to duck behind any rock or even the statue if he had to to avoid the girls arrows.

"Power greedy, aren't we Sephiroth? I'll break it, but you have to give me something in return."

Mithranduir was tracking them and then found them at the statue! He thought to himself "God why is Anack-Sun-Amune doing with Sephiroth!?" Then he summoned a storm and incricled the area with Obscuring Mists. Then he got behind the statue and stood at just the right angle so they couldn't see them. Right after he got settled the mists dissapated and then he listened to their conversation.

Sephiroth laughed when the storm appeared and they were incircled by the mist. He had only met one person with this kind of power "Fool! did you think I wouldn't notice the storm or the mist I am not blind! Come out Mithranduer come out now!" Sephiroth Drew his sword and looked around him waiting for the wizard to come out of hideing. Sephiroth made a fireball in his left hand and turned to look at the girl "Tell me what you want." He usually didn't bargain with huamns but he had no other choice now that Mithrandeur was here he wouldn't have time to break the seal himself.

She smiled."It's very simple. Give me half of the power you receive, and also spare my life, as I know you will kill me after this, it is your way. And hello Mith, I know who he is."

Sephiroth was furious when he heard her demands he would have gladly spared her life for a little while...... but half of the demons power was ridiculous. Suddenly it hit him the only way they could get the power was to kill the demon and then capture its soul wich she couldn't do even if she could kill it only he had the power to capture its soul so he could take it all for himself and she could do nothing about it. "You have a deal." he said with a smile.

She quirks an eyebrow."I will have its power, if it takes me an eternity. I know I can't get it now, but I can eventually, mark my words."She aims her bow, and shoots an arrow at the middle eye of the demon. The arrow sticks, and the demon is freed."There you are."

He said "No! You do not know what you have released!" As soon as he finshed his sentence the demon jumped out onto the ground and darted away and laughed meanencly.

She smiles at him."We both know that Sephiroth will kill it."

"It's different now it is out in the enviorment. I would not usally do this but Sephiroth will you help me find him? You to Guenivere."

Sephiroth laughed and flew after the demon he threw the fireball at it but it missed. Sephiroth was gaining on it he grabbed his sword swung at the demon who turned around suddenly a sword appeared in it's hand as if from nowhere and he blocked Sephiroth's sword. Sephiroth flew backward then charged again this time his hit landed on the demons shoulder but the demons sword also hit Sephiroth. He pulled his sword out of the demon with the demons blade still in his side he formed a fireball in his hand and charged the demon again this time when it dodged his sword Sephiroth threw the fireball at the demon wich hit it in the face. The demon was blind Sephiroth tore the sword out of his side and suddenly it disapeared then he cut off the demons head and held out a black crystall wich captured its soul. Sephiroth staired at the crystall and laughed then he held it to his chest and suddenly a red flame shot out from the crystal and entered Sephiroth's body. Sephiroth looked surprised he felt no different yet he had obviously taken it's power. What surprised him even more was the fact that the demon was so easily defeated could it be that after so many years the demons power had diminished so much that it had become to weak to give Sephiroth any more power?

"He already got it....."

When Mithranduir caught up to Seph he said "That was a copy the real one is still out there. You gained no power that's what I was trying to tell you."

Guinevere just watches them from a little behind Mithraundir

Sephiroth looked down at the wound made by the sword it was gone. Then he looked at Mithranduer "Get out of here now leave or I will show you no mercy." he knew that Mithranduer would get in his way and stop him from capturing the demon Sephiroth wouldn't allow that. He walked back to where the girl was and realized that he didn't know her name he wouldn't normally ask but since it seemed they would be traveling together for a while he would need to know "Tell me waht is your name?" he asked.

She smiles at Mith, then looks at Sephiroth."Guinevere."Anyone who knew her true name would have a power over her, be able to use her, it was a curse for leaving Egypt."And Mith will come with me. Either he comes, or I go. It's that simple."

Sephiroth looked at Guinever alright he can come Sephiroth looked over at Mith. "You seem to know alot about the demon where did it go?" He asked Sephiroth didn't know much about it other than the fact that it was very powerful and sealed away by some powerful mages. Their weren't many records left of the incident and the ones he had read Sephiroth killed to get. He didn't like travelling in such large groups like this but it dind't seem like he had much of a choice right now so he sat and waited for Mithranduers response.
