Night was home—home was night. They were all the same to the demon. She feared nothing any more. Her past experiences had washed them all away. She had trained—she had learned. No longer would mere mortals be able to defend her. She was gaining strength, and fast. She would soon be able to put it to the test, though she was not ready yet.

There was a clamor of metal upon a sheath. Two broadswords had been drawn by the demon. It was actually a miraculous sight—the young demon carrying broadswords, and two of them at that. Together, however, she found them rather productive.

Skillfully she began to swing them, pausing momentarily every now and then as if posing, though she was not. The demon was merely training her durability. Should she lose balance, her training would be a failure—and that was not an option for her.

Her goals could not be lost. The demon would not accept that. She had trained to hard to be a failure. She was skilled, and she knew it. She would work harder--and harder until she was the best in the land. She would prevail. Time must be given, however, for this to ever be done--and she was willing to give it.

Alexander Silverrose - October 12, 2003 07:36 AM (GMT)
As the serene night crept upon Alexander, his interest for these lands lithely sailed away amidst the departure of the glowing, radiant orb, known to most,if not all,as the sun.His steps were light and soft, making not a sound noticable, the only sounds that were created sounded of the wilderness, most would have assumed it to be just that. His optics roamed about every object that passed within his mendacious, yet trust-worthy glance.Every now and again he would glance to the elegant satellite dwelling amongst the stars, finding ample amusment within it than it seemed these lands would ever produce.

As his aimless gallivanting seemed to have no end, being it seemed to be the only worth while thing within these wretched lands,he spotted an enormus buliding,an obfuscated look striking his boyish features like a rogue arrow. His bemused look continued as minutes passed, his head tilting more and more with each dawdling second that strolled from amidst his grasp. Finally, after moments of asininity upon his part,Alexander spoke, before his vocals freed,a sigh sailed from gently from his hold,"...Well,this looks about as interesting as a contumacious, insurgent peon merely escaping the cold scythe of Death with a severe contusion, boasting haughty about his triumphant return from the woods, heavily protected by the Gods and Goddesses....But,I haven't anything else to do.....Gods...Goddesses,let it be thy will to evince a path euphonious to my 'lobes..."

Moments later after Alexander finished his non-sensual rambling, the soft sound of air being devided by something shaply and sharp lingered amidst the night, boardcasting lightly.Alexander smirked as he strolled towards the gigantic building, chuckling softly in thanks,"I owe you once again my dear Gods and Goddesses,if this is to be my path, then I shall take it without hesitation, hopefully this will be fairly intriguing..."He passed underneathe the arch leading into the building's interior, arenas and an array of weaponry inhabited its inside.

Alexander's 'lobes wiggled softly at the sound of the swift movements once more,...Blades,beautifully crafted blades, the sound of swords not oblivious to his 'lobes. He tracked the sounding vibrations with ease, discovering a female, type creature, she seemed to be in a heated training session. He watched from a safe distance, his crystaline blue hued optics following her lithe, curvy figure with skill. He conformed a grin of devious proportions upon his features before mumbling gently to himself upon the current situation,"..Training,much better...It isn't as absurd as those insolent cretins who choose to drink themselves into an early grave at those apalling taverns..."

The demon felt watched. It seemed as though she had a sixth sense, being able to tell when others were about, even if they hid themselves quite well. The demon didn’t enjoy being watched, although she often found herself being watched like so—almost as if it was a sport. She came to hate this. Lonely though she was, she still came to dread the company of others.

Bringing the matching swords to a steady stop and quickly back into her sheaths, the demon shifted positions, her glance falling upon the stranger. The demon’s brow quivered in annoyance. It wasn’t often she trained anymore, though when she did, she expected privacy.

”Really, if you must watch,” stated she, her voice cold and cutting. ”at least come down here where I can get a better look at you, as you seem to have on me.”

The demon’s eyes wavered only momentarily as she glanced upward, looking at the nightly sky. She loved to see the lights of the bright stars. Even in the loneliest of times the stars always offered company. It was really rather amusing. Though, soon after, her dark purple eyes shifted back to the onlooker from afar, a mischievous look on her slender face.

Alexander Silverrose - October 15, 2003 11:49 PM (GMT)
Alexander's 'lobes,as well as his orbs, twitched slightly as her vocals coldly sailed towards his figure, disliking such tones towards him.He felt shallenged, and not once has he backed down from a shallenge. He chuckled haughtly with hints of mendaciousness dwelling amidst the chuckling before allowing his vocals to conform a response,

"...Well,well,my Dear one,I shall now tell you two obvious reasons why I did not so boldly progress towards you as you trained....One:..If I were to have closed in on you as you trained, being the way I would have done it,it would have seemed as if I were trying to attack you...Two:I do not know your background very well, how do I know that you were not hoping that some insolent twit was to near your frame, easy target for an attack..You so easily detected me from so far away, what were the off chances that you were not to detect me within such close range.....Next time,I shan't be so careless,I am not as easy as I may seem.....Now then, since we figured out and sorted out this non-sense,why don't you allow me to obtain thy name...If it is to be your will that is..."

Alexander walked closer towards the feminine being, his figure now a bit more visable. He stopped inches from her,his arms neatly tucked behind his frame. His optics sparked as they observed her,a smirk conforming upon his boyish, olive features upon his visage.

Oloth - October 22, 2003 03:01 AM (GMT)
The demon smirked mischievously. Of course, all that the man had said was indeed true. She could have easily turned her intentions upon him, willing him harm or even death. This, however, was not the case. Instead, she had much rather fancied a bit of a training duel. She needed to warm up and she had found that random people in which she knew little about were the best to work with. She enjoyed her little challenges, rather they be large or small.

The demon shook her head sullenly. ”Then I suppose that we have not business here,” stated she. ”Should I not go on my way and you on yours? Or perhaps you would like to remain and converse a little more. Surely you are more interesting than you are leading up to be.”

Alexander Silverrose - October 27, 2003 02:30 PM (GMT)
With a non-chalant shrug,Alexander trailed his 'tip amongst the hilt of his Katana, extending his hand moments after his 'tip glided from the hilt, nodding gently before beginning pleasantries,"...The choice is completely yours,my dear one...But,it would be benefical if I knew your alias,I am Alexander,Alexander Silverrose, might I obtain thy name now,Madame?...Or do you wish to continue being incognito and keep your secrecy?"

His slender brow querked slightly as he awaited her decision,a magnitude of decisions laiden amongst her feet and within her grasp, whichever choice she chose was to be expected,no matter the decision,no matter its magnitude or rariety in action wise,or even non-action wise for that matter...

Oloth - November 1, 2003 02:30 AM (GMT)
The demon’s smirk grew quite fondly of this man. He seemed wise in his ways and quite a wonderful way of putting things. She was quite interested in how he came to be as he was, though inquired not a bit.

As he stated his name, her smirk changed into a wide smile. The blades were brought to be tucked neatly into their sheaths. She refused to fight him, now that she knew of who he was. ”Ah yes, you are one of those candidates for the new position of power within the council,” stated she. ”Please, I retract my offer to you. I will not duel with someone in who is being discussed within the Temple of Unity.” There was but a moment’s pause. The demon considered not telling him of her alias, but found that to be rather rude. Surely he would like to know the name of the one who knew much of him. ”I am Oloth, Goddess of Evil.”

Bahamut - November 2, 2003 06:41 PM (GMT)
Bahamut was watching this from the shadows, the spell Cloak of Dark Power concealing him, though Oloth would sense him, he knew. Still, he wanted too see what would happen

Alexander Silverrose - November 8, 2003 03:23 PM (GMT)
With a non-chalant shrug,he replied, chuckling softly,"...My dear one,I do not mind a friendly spar every now and again, but I shan't fight you as an enemy.....As for my name being mentioned within the sacred walls ovf the Temple of Unity,I could not say I do know of it,but, yes,I did apply for the spot...But,I diagress...If you would like,I will spar with you to assist you in strengthening you,if you do not wish to spar,I suppose we could continue our conversing, either decision is more than fine with me..."

Alexander tilted his head softly towards the right, his orbs flickering, staring, watching her intently. He smiled a bit more as he awaited her response, glancing every now and again to her blades in interest, admiring the style and craftsmanship of them, the way they sat upon her waist,on the side of her figure.

Oloth - November 8, 2003 07:45 PM (GMT)
The goddess simply shook her head. Of course she did not want to spar with him. Such a thing she would consider foolish. She did not spar against those she discussed. No, she would rather converse.

"Please, let us converse," stated she. "I will to learn more of you so that I may tell them of this encounter and of you. I'm quite sure they would be much interested in knowing more, as am I."

A smile spread over the demon's face. No matter how hard she tried, she could not wipe it from her. It was quite rare that she would have the chance to meet one in which might be joining the council before they actually did.

Alexander Silverrose - November 9, 2003 03:08 AM (GMT)
Alexander nodded softly to her decision, within him hoping she would choose to speak with him, instead of pointless combat,"...With such a lovely smile, who could say nay to you....`Twould seem I cannot...I am rather astounded by your interest within such a mediocre being, such as myself, but, whatever I may do to assist you in obtaining information about me,I will be most willing to help.."

Alexander extended his arm, followed by his hand to grasp one of her hands, awaiting her to clasp it,"I suppose we will be seating ourselves to converse on matters that come along,I am sure we can find a few things that might take a bit of our time, but we both shall benefit from this meeting, hopefully we will enjoy many more after this one..."

Bahamut - November 15, 2003 05:15 PM (GMT)
He walks off, not wanting to watch anymore, but he made sure they wouldn't know he was ever there.
