A single child wondered the tunnels of the volcano, her silent footfalls echoing off the stonewalls. She could feel the waves of heat rippling out from the heart of this pit. Her arms hung limply at her sides as she stumbled further, descending towards the center of the volcano. Sapphire optics stared blankly forwards, empty of any signs of life, any soul that may linger in the girl’s body unseen. Mutely she entered the heart of the volcano, intense waves of heat brushing against her pallid flesh. She moved towards the pit until she was hovering just above the edge, lava boiling in the depths of the chasm. Quietly the girl’s eyes slipped closed, ashen features empty of emotions. She tilted slightly forwards, teetering dangerously on the edge, threatening to fall into the pit of that fiery liquid.

Bahamut was walking around the volcano, since he thought there was no one else there. But he was about a foot shorter than normal and had blonde hair. But his blue eyes showed that he was Bahamut in reality, as you could see the familiar glazed, dull look that he always had from living by himself. As he comes around, he finally notices the child near the lava, and goes over to investigate. He sees her near the edge, and ponders if he should try to stop her, or leave her alone. Either way, he was going to watch her, since there wasn't much else to do in a volcano by yourself.
