drake was flying through the air he had no idea where he was going he just went wherever fate led him. as he looked down he realized he was in the desert he hadnt been paying attention to where he was going so had no idea how long he had been here or they way back as he had changed direction many times while soaring through the sky.

*Making a wrong turn at the pub. Kore rode on Kamahl for a few hours, sometimes fast, sometimes slow, but always moving. As he travelled, one image plagued his mind for hours at a time. That image was of the woman he had interest in....Ranewen. She was different from everyone else, and thats what attracted him the most. Her looks didn't hurt either. Being around her brought back memories Kore never knew that he had, good and bad. This plague was one he happily welcomed, and he nodded.--I guess I really do like her. Shes so innocent looking though...--but he didn't care, for he knew the innocence was just a mask.

After looking though the skies for anything in the air for asisstance, he noticed a dragon travelling through the clear blue. He decided to have fun and silently challenge him/her to a race. Digging his heels into Kamahl, he reared back somewhat, then began to work as power surged through the nightmare and it went faster gradually. Laughing some, he hoped the dragon would play along and have fun.*

as drake looked down he noticed a man on a horse riding through the desert as he watched the man he noticed that he bagan to pick up speed and was now directly under drake. "so he wants a race, i'll play his game if i win maybe he will show me a way out of here." drake gradually began to fly faster he didnt want to get to far ahead of the rider.

*--This guy's quick....but I'm sure Kamahl can keep up...--He kicked the sides of his horse and yelled at him* Get going boy! *Speeding up Kamahl travelled faster than usual, a great cloud of sand left in their wake. He looked up to see where exactly the Dragon was, and saw that he right still up in the sky. The hot day in the desert was taking its toll on Kore though, He was sweating profusely and he'd have to drink water more than occaisionally. He was going to beat the Dragon though, prove his horse to be faster than even those behemoths. He smirked as he wondered how fast it would be.*

Drake flew closer to the ground and started to fly as fast as he could without using his magic and was now directly over the man and his horse Drake was slowly passing the rider but he knew that it wouldnt be good enough to win. Drake pushed himself on he didnt know how long he could keep up this speed in the desert but he wasnt about to lose to a horse. "This guys better than most, this will be tough." Drake thought as they raced through the desert.

*Seeing how long this horse could live under these conditions, he smiled as he continued to push the horse foreward, increasing its speed--I hope he doesn't give out now...I'm beating a dragon....I knew I picked the right horse-- The sun was scorching his skin and sweat was creeping towards his eyes. With one hand, Kore wiped it from his face, while the other hand grasped the reigns. Once the sweat went to his hand, it was so hot that the sweat evaporated.* Catch me if you can *He shouted as the horse crept ahead of the dragon.*

Drake was having trouble keeping up with the man and the horse. He flew as fast as he could and was barely able to stay with him. When he heard the man yell out to him he pushed himself harder and it was just enough to pass the rider, but he would only be able to continue racing at this speed for a few minutes. Then he would have to stop and surrender to the rider. He hoped that his horse would give get tired soon. "I can't beleive i'm losing to a human." he thought to himself.

*Seeing as the dragon was catching up, he decided to put some fire under Kamahl's feet. He knicked Kamahl and pulled on his reigns so that Kamahl would jump. The beast followed its orders fluidly and leapt as high as it could, spinning 180 degrees.* Now, unleash the flames from the pits of your own nightmare! *Kamahl's mouth flooded with dark fire as it then sent the blast against the sand, which propelled the two quite a distance from the Dragon. Both knowing it'd be impossible to turn back around, they braced for impact. As the sand came closer to them, kore flashed a smile. hitting the ground they skidded for a few meters, then stopped. Kore sat there atop Kamahl with a fist in the air as the beast reared back and neighed.* Whoah....I...we outran a dragon....unbelievable......*he then screamed triumphantly.* Wooohoooo!!

Drake landed next to them "That was pretty good whered you learn that?" He asked a little surprized that he had lost to the man. Drake looked at him and then laughed, "tell me what is your name?" He always asked peaple for their names hd didn't know why it was probably a habit. Drake still needed to get out of the desert "Tell me do you know the way out of here?" He asked looking around and seeing nothing but desert as far as he could see.

Well, lets see, I just made that up and hoped it would work, the name's Kore, and I have no clue how to get out of here, just figured going straight'd get me out of here. Maybe with your wings and my guidance, we can get out of here without dying first.*he chuckled uncomfortably and he rubbed the back of his head* What'ya say to that?

"My name is Drake." he said looking at Kore. "you plan sounds good to me i'v never been here before actually it's an accident i'm even here so any help you can give would be great." Drake looked around he wondered if they could find a way out of the desert it was huge and he had never seen anything like it nothing but sand in every direction. "So which direction?" He asked looking down at Kore then around them again he couldn't even tell wich way was north anymore everything looked the same to him.

*With a smile, Kore looked at Kamahl and hopped off his saddle and landed on the soft sand.* Well Drake, while we ride, you're going to have to carry my steed, or I'm afraid I'll ride alone. *With that said, Kore then walked towards the dragon, climbing up the side of the Drake. When he get atop him, he rested his legs around the bottom of Drake's neck.* I'm ready whenever you are

Drake looked at the man and smiled "That's fine with me, hang on." he said then flew into the air and gently picked up the horse and flew over the desert. Drake looked back to make sure Kore was alright from time to time then looked ahead of him. He still wondered how they would get out but he trusted this man and hoped he wouldn't try and lead him into any traps.

Drake flew across the desert it was getting hot and the sun beat down on him. Drake was getting thirsty but he looked across the desert and couldn't see a thing. As he flew Drake noticed something in the distance, as he got closer he realized it was an oasis. Drake flew over to it and gently put down the horse then crouched down and waited for kore to get down so he could get some water.

*As they flew, Kore gave him exact directions of where to go. Unknown to him though was the oasis that sprouted in this desolate area. He instictively licked his lips when he saw the fresh water located there.* Drake you're a genious...*When Drake leaned down, he dismounted the dragon and walked quickly to the spring and began drinking from it. Kamahl saw what Kore was doing and did the same. The both of them lapped up water as if it was the first time they ever drank. He looked back at the large dragon and smirked.* Hey, come and have some. The waters unnaturally cold...it confuses me, but water is water and the colder the better.
