The woods were dark, but not too dark for a Drows eyes. Azuren crept through the many spiderwebs. The Drow was searching for something, but didn't really know what he was searching for. Out of the corner of his eye he caught site of some movement. He still crept forward though, not looking for a fight...As he walked past a web it stuck like a glue to his clothes. The harder he pulled the more he got stuck...Finally Azuren pulled out an arrow and cut around the web, setting himself free. Yawning, the Drow sat against a tree, making sure that no webs were where he was going to sit. Thirty minutes later Azuren got up and started on his way again...Still searching for that which not he knew.

He came to a clearing in the trees. Hmm, he thought aloud. Should I go in? I guess I will...He got about halfway to the other side, when he saw a ghostly figure walking through the trees. Please don't run, I'm not in the mood for a chase, Azuren said softly so that only he could only hear. The Drow moved slowly towards the figure, Azuren was about twenty feet away when the person took off running. I said I don't want a chase, he whispered again. Azuren started running after the person now, dodging through the trees and webs. This person is fast, really fast...

As I was running through the trees, I hoped that this person wouldn't catch up to me and mug me.But wait,I though, why am I afraid? I came to a sudden hault and immediately turned only to swing my staff right in front of his nose. It nearly hit him, only coming a few milimeters away."State your buisness!"

Azuren ducked away from the staff, and spun out to the side quickly pulling out his Shadow Dagger...I'm not here for a fight, but if you want one I'll be happy take your challenge! The Drow started walking around Jahesd showing no fear what so ever...What is your name? And my business here is not a concern to you...Azuren then walked over to a stump and sat down waiting for Jahesd to answer his questions.

I stood my staff upright and leaned on it. I looked the drow and studied him. I apologize for running. You startled me. Please forgive me, your buisness is not mine to know indeed. I was alone in the marsh, or at least I thought I was. I just did not expect to see another. You are a potential threat. I do not know you. What is your name? I looked into the drow's eyes. ah, I see. There should be no reason to fear. He seemed mysterious to me. Like he was ancient. It was though he had seen many things in his life. His eyes were mysterious indeed."Please, let me introduce my self. My name is Jahesd. Shall we travel along together? Please forgive me for being to bold to ask, as we just met, but this is and can be a very dangerous place."

Azuren put his dagger away...Well hello Jahesd! I am Azuren. Hmm I guess I will forgive you...and yes we may travel together. As he said those words something caught his attention...Hmm, we are being watched. I'll say about nine spiders. Azuren pulled out his bow and started scanning the surroundings. Notching a ice arrow to the bow string he whispered, get ready to fight...As those words left his mouth he let loose the arrow. It missed, he let fly another and it struck a spider in the eye. The spider let loose a hidious sound and all the spiders started closing in fast...

I looked at the hideous spider and cringed. I hate spiders! I thought to my self. As I saw one of them running towards me, I jumoed up into the air and came back down whamming my staff onto the spider's cephlothorax. It burst and green guck went flying everywhere. I really do hate spiders. I thought to my self once more as I wiped off the guck form my cheek. Another ran and jumped into the air in an attempt to land its fangs into my side. But fortunately, I dodged it and swung my staff into it, knocking it into a nearby tree. I turned around to see if Azuren was ok....

Three spiders lunged at Azuren, he pulled out his Shadow Dagger and dropped his bow. The Drow dodged one spider and stabbed it in the eye pushing it deeper into the head. He pulled out the dagger and jumped to the side dodging another creature, cutting off four of its legs as he ran at the other. The spider was fast though, it seemed to be the leader, the one who was shot by Azuren's arrow. It jumped to the side and bit the Drow in the shoulder. AHH! YOU WILL PAY FOR THAT...FILTHY SPIDER! Raising up he charged the spider, the spider looked at him seeming to grin...Azuren jumped up and landed onto the spiders back...Now it's your turn to feel my sting! He stabbed the spider in the back of the head jumping off back wards and slicing the creature in half. Hehehe I got you good...Azuren collapsed the spiders posion started taking effect...

Oh No!! I thought to my self. I ran over to Azuran and kneeled down next to him."Azuran, you have been poisoned!"I yelled. I took out my book of general spells to find the corect words for the healing spell. At last I found it. It seemed like an eternity. I said the words of healing and a white stream of mist spawned from the air and went into Azuran's chest. That was the first time i have seen the healing spell go into effect. I stayed in the kneeling position and prayed in a language I did not know. It just came naturally to me. But as the stream of white mist went into his chest, and when I started to pray, he became better again.
My knees were wobbly from all of the adrenalin rush and the fighting."I am not used to fighting," I chuckled," I am a wizard, I spend my time behind books."

Azuren slowly stood up and grabbed his bow which was near to his hand. Putting his dagger away he loaded an arrow and it sliced all the way through the arachnid. Pulling out another arrow he let it fly, but it missed...So he tried again, and it found its mark. Ahh...He collasped again. You must kill the other two I'm still weak from the posion...You didn't manage to get it all...

I tightened my grip on my staff and swung very hard at the remaining two spiders. I hit one spider and it flew away into the trees. The other spider came running to me and I just stood there waiting for it. When it was about the right distance, I raised my staff and plunged it down on the spider's head. Green substance started oozing out of his head. I looked around for the other spider but it seemed to be knocked out somewhere amongst the foliage.
I went over to Azuran to see how he was doing. He was right, I did not get the total amount of poison out. I walked past him seeing some herbs on the ground. Here, take these. You wil feel better in a little while. I ripped the herbs out of the ground and and took off the roots for him to suck on. I know they are bitter, but you must suck on them. I walked back to Azuran and handed them over.

Azuren reached for the herbs and put them in his mouth. About ten minutes later Azuren got up and walked over to his friend, Thank you. Where shall we go to now? I want to get out of here soon before more come...The Drow started wiping his weapon on the grass, cleaning the blood off. He finished about five minutes later and headed over to his friend waiting for an answer. While he sat and waited he laid all his weapons on the ground, starting to doze off slightly. He awoke abruptly, about three minutes later. Looking down he checked his items to make sure they were all there. We shall go now Jahesd...

I would like to travel to the Ebon Plains and battle the hypogryphs that live there. You see, I am fond of all creatures and like to study and observe them. But all I want is the feather of a hypogryph. They are fierce creatures and I could really better my battle skill. So what do you say, Azuran?

Azuren thought to himself. A feather of a hypogryoh...Um ok I'll tavel there with you. Thank you for the help with the spiders, my friend. Standing up the Drow started walking out of the forest...He checked back to see if his friend was coming.
