Master Ace sat down by the water and let the water come up to him and go back down. A few seagulls silent passed by over head and mad their way to sea. The sea breeze blew softly through his blue hair. The sunset was beautiful, but he was not here to see it. His sapphire eyes stared at Pirates Cove. He was deep in thought, "When will I be ready? I feel I am almost there but not quite. Alorous said I would know when I was ready. I wish now was the time. The time to regain my past. The time to find out what really happened to my parents. Prehaps I shall also find Alorous. What awaits me when i go? Will I be able to handle it on my own?"

A humming sound was heard in the distance and soon you see Kli walking down the beach. Her red hair was curly and occasionally got into he blue-ish grey eyes. Her white dress wasn't as white as it used to be after time and time again being cloaked with mud. Her soft pale skin was almost as white as her dress. Her cloak was filled with holes and she held her cloak tightly as she walked. Her eyes were closed, not realizing ace was even nearby. She hummed a melody that she used to know as a child in Lorian.

Master Ace heard the humming and broke away from his deep thoughts. It was nice to have a little distraction every once in a while. He turned around to see where the humming was comming from. He noticed Kli who was only about ten feet away. "She must also be deep in thought, but hers must be be are nice and comforting. Mine are painful and dubious. Prehaps talking her might get me out of this melancholy mood. Prehaps it will help me dispell my anexites," Master Ace thought as he stood up. He combed his claw through his shaggy blue hair and made his way over to Kali. "Hello there, What brings you all the way out here?" Master Ace called out smiling.

She stopped, hearing a voice. She opened her eyes to see ace. "The water of course... It calms and makes me think... Then again minds wander at all times when your alone... That is my theory anyway.." She smiled back. She studied him a moment, she did this often, just thinking. She snapped back into reality in an instant, looking up at him. "What are you doing here?" She asked. "You should be doing something, seeing the world.." She laughed slightly. That's what an old friend said a long time ago, that people shouldn't just sit about but explore.

"I wish I had the time to see the world, but I must prepare for... things," Master Ace replied. Her smile was warm and comforting. It was hard to lie to her, but he didn't wasn't sure he wanted her involved in his plans. They were dangerous and not just for some naive wanderer of the world. Still he wanted to know a little about her. "I am Master Ace. I was just sitting here planning... well just thinking. What is your name?" Master Ae smiled. He had done some exploration on his own, but it was not as mush as he wanted to do. "I will have to remember to give some time to exploration after I have found out more about my past," he thought to himself.

"I am Kli... Do not ask of where I am from because I am not from there any longer.." She said right out. She smiled. She wandered to the edge of the shore and stuck her feet in the water. She liked the cool water on her burning feet. She looked to him quietly. "And speaking of planning... What are you planning if I may so boldly ask... You do not seem to like my idea of exploring at this point and I am curious of your plans.." She said. She didn't feel like playing 'I'm not going to tell you anything and your not going to tell me anything'.

"I was hoping you wouldn't ask that question, but I suppose it won't hurt if I tell the truth," Master Ace thought as he took a deep breath. "I have been preparing for my trip to the Pirate's Cove. I have certain issues concerning my past to deal with. I don't know what's in store for me when I go. I just want answers even if they are the kind that one should not get. I want to finally fill in the missing gaps," Master Ace said as he retured his gaze to the Pirate's Cove.

She nodded, looking to the pirates cove. "Ah.. I see.. Sorry if I seem bold... But curiousity easily sneaks into my mind..." She chuckled softly. She walked until the water was above her ankles and watched as the waves crashed into them. She didn't really have much to say, so she just was quiet. She hummed her song, not remembering the words.

"Where have you laerned that song you are humming? I've never heard it be it seems so freindly and familiar," Master Ace asked as he returned his gaze to her. She wouldn't be able to help him get into the cove, but he could still have a casual conversasion with her. He wondered about what she had said earlier: "Do not ask of where I am from because I am not from there any longer..." What deep secrets did she keep of her own.

Verling had been walking on the beach for some time now when he heard someone humming. He went towards the sound and to his surprise he found Kli and another man standing in the water. He walked over to them and said "Hello, my name is Verling. May I ask what yours is?"

"Where I was born... Where I am not allowed to return... Where I shall not say.." She said simply. She looked to him. "Everyone has secrets... Why tell if they are silly?" She said and then looked to the water. She felt the sand beneath her feet. "And I'm not exactly sure what the song's name is anyway.. Much less the words.." She said with a slight laugh.

"She wanders because she has no home, how sad. Prehaps she is running from the past, attempting to hide it over her travelings," Master Ace thought to himself as he heard her reply. "Hello Verling, this is Kli, And I am Master Ace," Master Ace siad as he turned to the new vistor. Verling looked as though he might be of some use, but Ace needed to know more to be sure. "What brings you to these part, Verling?" He asked slowly.

"Oh.. Hello Verling.. What a surprise to see you again.." She said quietly, she hadn't seen him since a few days ago. She looked from verling to master ace and then to the water. She splashed around in the water. She was shy around people when more than one person was around.

Verling replied saying "I came here looking for a way to the Pirate coves. I have some buisness there. Unfortuneatly I have found no way to get there I guess I'm going to have to give up." Then looking at Kli he said "Hello it has been a while hasn't it? How have you been?"

"It has been fine.." She said, still staring at the water. "Jhin is still scaring people away.." She laughed slightly. Then, as if he heard his name Jhin flew and landed on to Kli's shoulder, squawking mainly at master ace. Oh great, it is that Verling again.. And who is this other creature? He said into Kli's mind. "Jhin.. Meet Master Ace.."

"I do think I found a bit of help. He should be able to help out once we get inside, but he doesn't seem like he'll much use when it comes to getting inside," Master Ace thought ot himself. "What bussiness do you have to take care of in the cove?" Master Ace asked with a raised brow. "I plan to make a journey inside soon, myself," Master Ace said hoping to catch his attention.

Verling looked at him with interest and said "Well it is personol but if telling you will get me inside then I have no choice. Years ago I lost all memory of my past. I heard that the pirots may have some artifacts that can help me remember, so I went against my best judgement and am now looking for a way in."

Kli looked at them silently. She was interested in pirates cove, she'd never been there before and it looked like fun to her. She wondered if they would take her along, but she did not ask. Of course, she would probably just be in their way.. I mean.. It's not like she loved to fight or anything. She thought, mind wandering and she walked about, sitting a few feet away and listening in on the conversation. "Pirates cove.." She muttered.

"I suppose you want to see that part of the world too. We could bring you along, but you must be able to defend yourself," Master Ace said as he heard Kli's soft muttering. Master Ace then turned his attentoin back to Verling , "It will be best to wait. The place is riddled with a complex system of tunnels. You'll drown if you try to swim through. Even if I were to make us capable of breathing underwater, there are a few things under thes sea that we don't want to see. We'll have to get a boat. Then we will be think about entering. I've thought about hitching a ride on a pirate ship, but it is too risky and hard to pull off."

Verling looked at Kli then back to Master Ace and said "Yes you are right it would be hard to hitch a ride on a pirot ship. However if we can knock a few out and steal there clothes it would probobly be fairly simple. And if we have to we could always steal a ship."

"I can defend myself.." She said, a little hurt that they thought she couldn't. She stood up. "I'll go if you'll let me... Might need to buy some trousers though... I dress would not suit this kind of trip.." She said with a slight laugh, imagining wearing her dress. "And some boots.." She shrugged, she had a little gold saved up for a rainy day. "But it shouldn't be a problem.." She said. "And speaking of boats.." She said thinking. I used to have an old friend.. She started in the boat business the last time I talked to her.."

Verling looked at Master Ace and said "Well then it's settled. We will go to a shop and then Kli's friend. That is if you have no objections."

Kli bit her lip, waiting for an answer, any answer. She looked to the hilt of her old sword that was hidden in her cloak and then searched through a pocket for something. She took out a book, flipping through the pages. It was her journal. She stopped by a page and read it to herself.

"Stealing a ship will still be harder than you make it out to be, Verling. We'll have to give Kli's freind a visit. Speaking of which where can we find her," Master Ace said as he thought over their options. "The time is approaching. Once we get our transport situated, I will be ready. I am sure of it," he thought to himself.

(OOC: I suppose we'll have to finish up friday, since I'll be gone for a few days.)

"She's in the next town over..." She said. "I'm not exactly welcomed there but if you bring something of mine she'll give you a ride and pick me up on the way there.." She said. "The town of hilia if you know it.." She said. She read a little more of the journal and put it away.

"What would that something of yours be, Kli. I am going to check a few more places for information. The tunnels propably have some nasty traps. I'll to find some info on how to get in," Master Ae said. Hila was a nice little town. Not too well known. He had heard of it before, but couldn't remember where.

She took out her bow from a secret pocket in her cloak. "This.." She looked to Ace and nodded. "Okay... I think I'm going to go to the shops and get some good boots..."

Verling looked at them and said "I'll go to Hila I was there a few months so I should remember where it is. I'll take the bow. We will need to set up a place to meet. Maybe at the docks or somewhere nearby that we all know. What do you think?"

Kli nodded, handing the bow to Verling. "Be careful with the bow... The bow was a gift a long time ago..." She said quietly. She looked around. "We can meet right here... I've never went to the docks so it would be hard to find it.." She said, looking back at them.

Verling took the bow and said "Ok it will probobly take me a few day's. Try and gather all the supplies you can while I'm gone." With that he walked away in the direction he believed the town to be in.

"We'll meet at the docks of Talas in a few days, Verling. We will pick you up over here, Kli. Now we bid our farewells. We don't know what lies ahead of us so spend your free time training. Good night to both of you," Master Ace replied. Master Ace was glad he came out here, it had made things much easier. Master Ace began to walk back to the acdemy of magic. (I'll make the post after I tend to a few things)

Kli nodded. She was ready for anything. She had learned a few new tricks as well. She went to the store to buy boots and trousers and maybe a few other supplies she might need.

When Verling had gotten out of sight. He spread out his wings and took to the sky. "The villiage is five day's away" he thought to himself. "If I fly I'll have just enough time to train as well as get the ship.

After buying the supplies kli stopped by the same place. She put down the stuff and started to train. She didn't exactly know how but she practiced her skills and powers.

Seeing a clearing on the ground Verling landed and took a break. He had been flying for four hours now and needed a break. When he was well rested he took the next two hours to practice.

Kli's friend was named roas. Roas was an old friend that used to live in Lorian, Roas was the one who taught Kli how to ride a horse and was Kli's best friend and still was. Roas had given the bow to Kli as a present when Kli was shunned from Lorian. After Kli's departure she never saw Roas again even though every year she goes to a certain tavern to pick up a letter from her.

It was envening of the second day when Verling arrived at the small villiage. As he began to walk around and ask people directions he finally found the information after searching for an hour. When he arrived at the house he was directed to he found even here he was unwanted. He knocked on the door and a woman answered. Imediately after seeing him she closed the door on him. Before she could shut it he put his fot out and said "Wait, I have a favor to ask you." But she just stood there telling him to go away. Then remembering the bow he took it out of his pocket and said "Here I was told to show you this. She immediately froze in place and stared at it.

After observing it for a few seconds she said "Please come in, come in. What is it you are in need of? Verling looked at her and said "Myself and my freinds Kli and Master Ace are in need of a ship. I was told by Kli we could get one from you. Was my information corrct?" Still looking at the bow she said "Yes, yes your information was correct. Please stay here for the night, we will leave in the morning." She handed him the bow and showed him here he would be staying for the night.

Soon the morning came and Kli sat writing in her journal secretly by the ocean. Meanwhile Roas was already preparing the boat for sea. "Ancor secured?" She yelled, asking one of the workers. The worker nodded and Roas started to clean the deck before walking inside to Verlings courters to wake him.

As Verling awoke he was greeted by Roas "Good morning son. Once youv'e had breakfast we can set sail." He looked at her and said "No I am in no need of a breakfast. We will set sail now. Our destination is the Talas docks." She looked at him strangely for a moment then walked out of Verling's quorters and said "Ok, Let down the sails where heading for Talas." As Verling laid there he thought to himself "Finally I'll learn more of my past." He got up and went outside. He couldn't wait till they could begin.

Everything was ready. Roas stood on the bow and looked at her prized boat. It was quite large for a boat, almost a ship, but it went fast. Roas took out a journal that used to be Kli's, she had took it and read about Kli's travels. Roas sat down as they were ready to set sail.
