Kli walked into the library. Soft, swift feet pattered against the ground like a light spring rain. She felt the cold air of the library on her skin as she walked quickly to the shelves of books. Her red, curly hair was wild and looked as if it hadn't been brushed in months. Her white, simple dress was covered in mud.

In fact, no one had seen her for almost a year. Some thought she was dead, some thought she was hiding, but no one really knew. She put on an old brown cloak that had many holes on the bottom of it. She was quiet, as if she was not to be noticed. Her eyes wandered, wondering if anyone was in here. She didn't want any trouble, she wasn't the type to want trouble. She walked through the library and stopped, seeing a large book. She climbed the ladder, picking up the large book.

The book was a maroon color, old, dusty, and you could see it was quite ancient. She wasn't much on strength and fell backwards to the floor, making a loud bang that echoed through the library. She winced struggling to get up. She got the book off of her and got up, picking up the book and staggering to a table where she could look at it. She sat down and opened it up.

"I should of just tried my powers to get the book.." She muttered, but before she wasn't thinking about using her powers. She flipped through the pages. "Sora.. Sora.." She muttered. She was looking for a powerful sorceress that was a long time ago, she wanted to know more about the legend, and the myths.

Ranewen had happened to have been heading the same way, her familiars about her. Jordison, her little hatchling pseudodragon, was sitting on her shoulder, as his wings were not yet strong enough to allow him to fly; Abyss, on the other hand, was flying about the room, looking at books that seemed to stand out to her; her Wisp was hovering in the air, looking around the library a bit before following Abyss off to search for good books to force Ranewen to read them parts that they didn’t feel like reading. That’s why Ranewen hated the library – she was always forced to read for her pets that couldn’t or didn’t feel like it, rather. She sighed lightly and then she saw Kli, whom she had saved from the cemetery the day before last. She happily jogged over and sat down across from her with a smile. “Hello… How are you?” she asked and smiled.

Haro was walking in the Library, he was bored and looking for someone to talk to. Haro didn't see anyone so instead he just got a book and started reading it. The book wasn't very big just maybe about two hundred pages. Haro than sat down at the table and started to read the book that he had goten out to read. once he sat down he looked straight and saw a girl reading the biggest book that Haro had ever seen. Haro walked up to the girl and said hey do you want to hang out.Haro had blue hair with a black headband, he wore a black shirt and some black shorts,and Haro had his left ear peirced. Haro thought he was kinda stupid because he just walked up to a complete stranger and asked her to hang out with him but he was bored and he will do anything to hang out with someone.

Kli just about jumped out of her skin, screaming before realizing who it was. She put her hand on her heart, seeing Rae. She breathed heavily. "Don't.. Do that.." She muttered, trying to catch her breath. She didn't like surprises. She sat on a chair, closing the book. She looked to Rae again. "Sorry.. You just scared me half to death.." She explained, gulping. She fiddled with the cover of the book. Kli looked a lot paler in the light than in the cemetery. She looked as if she was almost dead now that she had been surprised.

She looked at Haro quietly. "Hello.." She said quietly. "I'm in the middle of searching for something but I'm sure that's okay if you want to sit and chat a little.." She said. Meanwhile Jhin was causing trouble in the front of the library. Jhin tried to get in but the librarian tried to chase him out and Jhin squawked loudly. Kli was too distracted to notice.

She muttered a few words to herself and tried to calm down the animal and then turned towards the boy who had just walked up to Kli, asking to hang out with her. “Well, then, I’ll leave you two a lone,” she said, smiling; seeing the two together (not in –that– way) caused her to think about Kore for a moment and she smiled lightly. She rose, getting out of the chair and went off to search for a book to read – and to find out where her blasted familiars went. She walked right towards books with magic in them; mostly the summoning ones, and she pulled one out. It was just a little smaller than Kli’s book was. She sat down, leaning against the wall and opened the first few pages, reading them.

She looked to the door, wondering where Jhin was but didn't see him. She then looked to the book and then right back to Jhin. Her eyes widened. "Jhin?" She said and scuffled over to the door, quickly trying to save him from the librarians broom. "Miss!! Why do you pick on the poor elf? What did he do to you?" She said, a bit angry. She took away the broom, letting Jhin fly about the library and land by the book. He squawked at Haro loudly, he was always jealous and protective of Kli. Kli dropped the broom to the floor and stormed off back to Jhin. "That lady is soo mean isn't she Jhin?" She said to the hawk. She looked to Haro. "Sorry.. Jhin doesn't like too many strangers.." She explained Jhin's squawking as she sat down.

Ranewen looked up from her reading and looked at what was going on. Anger raged inside of her and it irked to come out. With a few words and movements of her hand, the librarian was sent into the wall, holding their shoulder as they landed. She smirked at that and quickly went back to reading as if nothing had happened or as if she hadn’t done anything. The evil was slowly taking over her, her pulse beating with its darkness. Even her eyes didn’t seem the same emotionless dark blue. For some reason, her eyes seemed to have a flame burning inside of them, or black holes for pupils that stared out at people. She then turned the page silently, its pages still making a slight crinkling noise, which didn’t seem to bother anyone. She looked over at the librarian now, who was holding their shoulder in pain. She just smirked. “That’s what ya get when you mess with people whom I’ve befriended…” she muttered in a low tone, almost inaudible.

Kli looked over to the librarian then to Rae and then to Haro. Her confused look then looked to Jhin. Jhin squawked, talking into her brain. Don't look at me.. I didn't do anything.. But once I take normal form again I might teach her a lesson maybe.. Jhin said. Kli took a deep breath, opening the book and starting to search for it again. "Sora the sorceress.." She muttered under her breath. Sora was a widely known sorceress (I made this character up) a long time ago and Kli suspects she was the one who turned Jhin into a hawk.

Meanwhile Jhin flew over to Ranewen and looked at her, squawking and talking into her mind. Who are you? How do you know Kli? He asked, he usually didn't talk to anyone besides Kli but she was busy and he was curious.

drake walked into the library, he looked around and saw many books" hmm, where to start" drake thought looking around he noticed many peaple in the library drake walked over to kli and looked down drake was curious "what are you reading?"

"The book of good and evil.." Kli said, not looking up as she searched for what she wanted to read about. Kli sighed, really wishing the book wasn't so long. "Every year it gets bigger.." She mumbled, still looking as she tapped her fingers on to the table softly.

She looked up suddenly and saw the white hawk and smiled lightly before thinking about answering his question. “I’m Ranewen. And while you were hunting the day before last, Kli fell into an open grave and I happened to be around, so I pulled her out with the help of summoning an animal to hold me up so I could pull her out, although I could’ve used my telekinetic powers, which is how I punished that damned librarian,” she stated, taking a breath after that. “And I wouldn’t get on my nerves… I have a short temper… Jhin,” she stated his name, remembering Kli had given it to her at the cemetery.

"What did I do to you?" Jhin squawked, menacing red eyes staring. "Wait a minute.." He said and glanced to Kli and then back to Rae. "She talked about me didn't she??" He asked, trying to read her mind with the powers he had as an elf.

"thats enteresting i had no idea a book with that title existed are you looking for something?"

"See.. There was this widely known sorceress named Sora.. And I suspect.. She was the one who turned my friend into a bird.." She said right out. She didn't care much if people knew about herself, even though she tried to stay away from most living breathing things like people or elves or mage's.. Her curiousity didn't help much though.

Jhin waited a reply, trying to stay in one place yet not fall to the ground.

"sora ive heard of her but i dont know much about him other than the fact that she is a sorcereress, why did e turn you friend into a bird was he angry for some reasoner

(Um.. Sora is a girl.. I said 'sorceress' not sorcerer..)

"Jhin wont tell me.." She said. "He doesn't like to talk about the past.. He just did something she didn't like..." Kli explained. She stopped and sighed, closing her eyes and flipping through the pages with her telekinesis since this was taking forever. She stopped and opened her eyes. Seeing a picture of sora. Her eyes widened. "Wow.."

Easily, Ranewen focused on one object to keep him out of her mind. “Don’t try that trick…” she warned before answering his question. “No, she didn’t talk about you… She simply stated that you were her hawk, Jhin, and you were off hunting elsewhere and she didn’t wish to disturb you,” she said, hoping that he would give up trying to read her mind, for it annoyed her a bit.

"i see so you have no idea what hppened?" drake noticed kli eyes get wider "what happened is something wrong?"

Kli covered the picture for it was a bit disturbing. Sora's picture was of her staring with eyes that seemed to grab you and try to kill you. "It's nothing.." She said as she looked at the book, reading the words.

Jhin squawked again. You are very stubborn.. He said in her mind and flew in a circle, landing on the table and reading over Kli's shoulder.

(sorry.. I must go.. My sister needs the comp for school work she could of done earlier <_< )

"oh thats alright its none of my buissness anyways." drake heard her bird squak "is your bird alright he seems a little annoyed."

She grunted and shook her head, thinking, I have my rights to keep my thoughts to myself. She then began to read her book that was sitting in her lap, shaking her head still as Jordison walked off to find Abyss and the Wisp. She began to read about a famous summoner, Arianna, and decided she wanted to become the leader of a prestige class for summoning as well. Being the highest summoner in all of Imythess was her dream.

drake looked on the shelf of books their were many to choose from as he looked around he saw a book that greatly interested him it was titled dragon slayers. drake took the book off the shelf and began to read it he was what was inside angered him it told of how dragons were slayed sometimes just for fun.

Then a tall man walked up and said "Slaying dragons is not very fun but very hard too."

Drake looked down at the man and staired for a moment without saying anything then he began to talk "what would you now about slaying dragons."

Kli sighed, looking at Jhin. "It doesn't say how she learned to change people into animals permanently... Or how to change them back... Sorry Jhin..." Jhin squawked loudly. "I'm never going to get changed back into an elf... I'd be happy if I looked like another elf... But no.. I can't be normal.. And I'm sick of being a hawk.. Kli nodded, knowing he hated it. "Don't worry... We'll find a way.." She said, closing the book and making a loud bang.

drake looked over at kli as whe slamed the book closed "is their something wrong?" drake asked as he put the book he had been reading back on the shelf

Kli looked to drake. "I was just trying to find a way to change my hawk friend, Jhin, back into an elf... But I can't find it..." She explained. She frowned. "I don't think I'll ever find it.."

drake looked at kli and smiled "if you keep searching hard enough you will find the awnser sometimes the awnseres to are toughest questions are right under are noses."

Kli looked at him and smiled. "Thanks.." She said quietly. Jhin hopped on her shoulder and she picked up the book and staggered to the shelf. She gritted her teeth as she tried to put the book back where it belonged. She didn't like to use her magic.

drake watched as kli tried to put the book back on the shelf "here let me help you with that." drake pushed the book into the shelf where it belonged."

"Thanks.." She said, jumping off the ladder and landing easily on to the floor. "That books really big... And heavy too.."

drake looked at kli "your welcome i didnt really notice it wasnt really that heavy to me."

"Well, I'm not much of a fighter so I don't have as much strength as people who fight all the time and train.. And I don't like to use my powers too often.." She smiled. "If I did I'd probably be better off but it doesn't matter.."

drake smiled at kli "your fine the way you are."

Kli smiled back. "Well, I should go now.." She said quietly. She headed for the door. "It was nice meeting you.." She said, stopping near the door to take a last glance at drake.

drake watched kli as she left before she disapeared frome his wiew drake spoke "i have a feeling we will meet again." drake then realized that he had found what he came here for and left behind kli

"Maybe.." She said quietly, leaving without a trace.
