Ocardonydd entered the temple, hoping to find Veronna, somewhere in the temple. He walked around until he made it to the arena. He looked around, and sighed, letting his shoulders slump when he didn't see Veronna there. He walked over to a bench and sat down, eyes still scanning the room. He drew his sword and looked at it, it wasn't much, it was really simple.
He looked at the floor of the arena, the pattern on it was the Goddess's symbol. He put his hands on his lap and waited.
Veronna had been out roaming the streets of Talas and she finally decided to go back to her Temple. When she walked in she heard footsteps in the halls, and she drew her dagger. She moved silently through the corridors, until she came to the arena, she heard someone there and she moved till she was right next to the corner. She took a breath and then leaped out from where she was at. She hit the person sitting on the bench with full force that would knock someone down, she had her dagger up to his throat. "Tesso uns'aa vel'uss dos ph' lu' vel'bol dosst xunin ghil, xor Usstan orn harventh dosst rinteith!" She said in a deadly tone that would send shivers up ones back.
Ocardonydd didn't have time to even think. Something smashed into him with great force and it knocked him to the floor. He then felt the cold metal of a dagger on his throat. He looked at the person who ramed into him and saw it was Veronna. "Veronna, it's me Ocar." He said with a slight smile. He could tell she was in a bad mood just my looking into her eyes. He wasn't scared about her cutting his throat, he knew she would stop herself, well he hoped she would.
He waited for her to get off him, he was staring in to her red eyes.
