Kli walked into the stables, staring at the horses. Her eyes widened as she looked at all the horses. "There are so many.. Just like in the castle stables.." She gushed as she walked up to a brown coated mare and stared brushing her. It was her first day on the job and she already loved it. She had put up her curly black and red hair and her white dress was covered by her cloak. Her blueish grey eyes smiled as the horse neighed.

Kli loved animals, always had. She used to ride horses all the time when her parents wasn't at the stables.

Meera smiles at the new girl as she washes Konochi. She says "are you new here?" She scrubs a patch of dirt off the old horse as she looks at Kli. She seemed like a nice girl. She wondered if Kore would be allright with her.

Kli looked to Meera quietly. "Yes.." She said simply and she finished brushing the mare.

Meera dried off Konochi then led him back into his stall. She looked at her own horse Enzo in his stall. She then takes out her favorite horse in the stable (other than her own) Jordi. She pats Jordi on the nose and takes out a currycomb and starts brushing her with it.

"So.. I'm guessing your a stable hand?" Kli said quietly as she cleaned another quietly. She smiled, she hadn't seen a horse in years so beautiful.

Meera said "yep and my friend Ranewen is too but she's not here right now. Kore is the stable master but he isn't here either" Meera set down the currycomb and picked up a mane comb lightly brushing out the knots and matts in Jordi's mane and tail.

"I have met Ranewen... She helped me get out of an empty grave that I fell in in the cemetery.." She simply as she still brushed the stallion. What lovely horses. She thought. I wish I had a horse... She said, staring at the marvelous creature.

Meera says "nice isn't she" and pats Jordi as she finishes combing her. She puts her away. Since she has done her task for the day, she takes out Enzo and uses her special brush to brush him so it will not burn up as it touches Enzo's skin. She rubs Enzo's face for reassurance.

"Rae's nice.." Kli smiled, petting the stallion a bit before letting out a huge sigh.


(Sorry I've been posting so short today.. I'm running out of ideas because I'm tierd and I can't sleep..)

Meera said "yeah." then added "you like horses?" then said in her mind -stupid Meera, she's a stable hand for gods sake! You think she likes horses?- and shakes her head at herself.
(I'm half-asleep today as well)

"YEah... They are the one thing that I've loved all my life..." She smiled. "So strong yet graceful, So muddy yet so beautiful... I want to be just like a horse.. Only.. Human.." She said, laughing slightly. "Yet I guess that was pretty obvious..."

(lol, it seems a lot of people are that way today :D )

Meera said "i know, they are so proud, I would hate to see one that is denied freedom. I mean I have a horse but i choose to ride bareback and he is allowed to roam wherever he pleases. I love him" and she hugs Enzo (awww...lol)

(i know,*head falls on keyboard*akhlsdkjf"ouch" *rubs head*)

"You have a horse?" She said, eyes widening. "I've never, ever, had a horse before... I'm lucky I even learned to ride.... My father hated for me to try to ride... He told me I wasn't allowed... But I did anyway.." She said with a laugh. She looked to Meera.

Meera said "yeah, I've been saving up for a horse for a while and i finally got him. His name is Enzo and i would say you could pet him but you might bet burnt" and laughs a little.

"Yeah.. I'm not much of a fire person.." She said quietly, looking at Enzo. "But he is a very handsome horse.." She smiled, starting to comb the stallions mane.

Enzo snorted as if saying thank you and Meera laughed at him. She said "sometimes he is a trouble maker but most of the time he is a great horse. If you don't mind me asking, what brings you here to Imythess" Meera raises her eyebrow as she currycombs Enzo.

"Well..." She took a long and deep breath. "I'm a wanderer... I wander from place to place... I've been here before but when I left I guess I traveled in a complete circle and ended up here again. I usually never find my way back to a place, so I figured I might stay a while until someone gets sick of me and runs me off.." She said with a slight laugh.

Meera asks honestly "who would get sick of you and run you off" with a confused look on her face. She wondered if this had happened to the girl before.

"Just... People.." She said simply. She didn't want to specify, it was hard for her to even remember the reasons why they ran her from most of the towns she came to. She simply combed the mane and hummed a song from her homeland.

Meera thought out loud "that must have been horrible for you. I can't picture being run out of towns." then she thinks inside her head -I wonder why and where she came from. It must have been bad for people to do that-

"Well, I guess you could say I have two sides of myself... A light side, a dark side.." She said quietly, She didn't quite know how to tell her or how to tell her.

Meera says "oh" quietly not quite understanding how such a nice girl could have an evil side to her as well. She asks "I have to exercise Enzo, would you like to exercise that horse along with me?"

"sure... But I haven't rode a horse in ages..."

Meera says "don't worry, you'll be fine with that horse, I know her personally she's a softie" and pats Enzo on the side before setting the brush down. She grabs and handful of flamey mane and half jumps half pulls herself up onto her horse. Enzo prances anxiously waiting for his exercise. He had been sitting in his stall all day. Meera waited for Kli to hop aboard her own horse.

Kli got on to the horse after making sure the saddle was on good. She smiled and held the reins, looking at her and then at the horse. "Go easy on me... I'm a bit rusty.." She said with a slight laugh to the horse, slightly whispering.

Meera said "okay then so lets go". Enzo immedietly moved, Meera had developed a telepathic relationship with him after she raised him from a foal to adulthood. She thought in her head "not to fast, I don't want to leave Kli behind. But if she decides to gallop then do whatever you choose" Enzo snorted signaling that he heard but that he would like to gallop fast.

She made a movement and the horse followed. She wouldn't mind a gallop, but after she got used to it again. She smiled, remembering the memories of her child hood friend and how she taught her how to ride a horse. They would ride all over when her father didn't know. See, her father didn't want her to ride horses at all.

Meera pulled up beside Kli and asked "did you have or horse as a kid or did you just ride someone elses" It wasn't a very revealing question it was just something Meera wanted to know out of curiousity. She remebered that she never had a horse because she lived in the woods and her parents never felt the need to get one.

"I usually would take my father's stallion out for a ride once in a while.. He didn't like me riding at all but... I got away with it when he was busy.." She smiled as she rode.

Meera says "sounds like something I would do" and smiles as she thinks about her stealing her father's dog and rifle to go hunting. She never was much good and her father was scared to death that she would shoot herself or get trampled by some animal. She laughed then about it but now she realized how serious he was about her safety.

"Yeah.. I never did well with direct orders.. He didn't like magic either.. But I did that anyway.." She said with a soft chuckle as she looked at the horse. "He hated that I didn't obey him... So he set down more and more rules for me to break... I'm glad I wasn't married away as soon as I should've been.." She said with another chuckle.

Meera chuckled along with her. She said "my father and mother were'nt much like that, they were kind folk the kind of always jolly peppy happy people" Then she glums up and thinks about the day her parents died. She remembered sadly. ((g2g))

"Well, every parent is different I guess.." She smiled. The horse started going a little faster but she didn't mind. (ok.. byes)

Meera had no need to tell Enzo to go faster he immedietly set into a trot. As they neared a forest Meera asked "would you like to go on a trail? I have a particular favorite of mine that I love to ride on" she says that trying to get a different subject started other than the parent topic. She didn't like to talk about her parents. It brought back bad memories.

"Sure.." She smiled widely. A trail.. She thought. What a marvelous idea for such a splendid day... She looked at Meera. "Have I ever met you before today? You look familiar.." She asked.

Meera said "okay then so lets get on the trail." and Enzo immedietly know which trail Meera wants. They head towards tall trees and you can hear the faint running of a brook. Then Meera says "now I think that we have met faintly but I'm not quite sure where......"

"I'm not sure either..." She said, mind wandering as she rode. She pet the horse she was riding before looking up ahead again and looking at the beautiful trail.

Meera says "oh well" and continues riding in silence. She looks around her in awe at the wonderful beauty of nature. She smells the great smells of the woods and hears birds flying in the trees above them. She spots a few rabbits in the clearing on the side of the trail and watches them as they pass by. She is startled out of her almost daydream as she gets to the brook. She almost forgot to ask, she says "Kli, can you jump horses?"

"I used to jump horses all the time...." She said, looking back to her. "Do you want to jump them?" She asked. "I'm sure I can remember.."

Meera let out a sigh of relief. She said "good, and I'd love to jump them when we get back but first, if we want to continue on our trail we are going to have to jump over the brook." and nods towards the running brook.
