Naia walked through the desert, her feet blistered and torn. Her wings used to be above her but she had gotten tired and her wings couldn't hold up any longer. After another hour she was down, crawling, her vesion fadeing. She then looked up and and saw a pond, an oasis. She stood up and ran but the oasis kept on moving farther and farther away, she collasped again she couldn't move any farther, her legs hurt and her head spun. She curled up into a ball her wings covering her, she needed help. All she could think is help me, help me.. help...me..

Zoe had been flying around in the desert sky, her large black wings were aching from the sun (O.O.C: eh...shes half wind elf...i guess i should put it in her description that she has wings lol). Her mouth quenched for thirst...she could not go on much longer. She spotted a dark spot in the desert a while away. At first sight, she swooped down and landed softly at the much-more brown land than the soft beige of the rest. She took her mighty strong wings and slammed them into the hard ground. Zoe winced in pain, curls the edge of her wings and lifted the dirt and set it on the ground beside her. She repeated this four more times. On her sixth jolt down, Zoe had strained and hesitated. Cool water ran up and soothed her bloody wing tips. I just dug a 6 foot hole in the ground with the bone in the tip of my wing... Zoe admitted to herself proudly. The spring filled up to the top, and Zoe cupped her hands and drank untill she could not handle anymore water. She wet her forehead, and set of walking,knowing, that her wings were to cramped and sore to fly.

Zoe spotted a lump in the distance. She instictivly raced off...she is a savior and helps anyone in need. She caught up to the lump, and saw that this person obviously needed water. She was about to stretch out her arms and carry her to the hole of water, but she decided to check if the girl was consious or not.

"Hello? Can you hear me? I can help you..."

There came a voice, far and distant. Naia turned her head, she heard a voice but it seemed so far away. After a moment her eyes started to come back to focus, and she saw something, someone above her. She opened her mouth was going to say something, but her lips were dry and cracked with thirst. She ook another breath hoping she would be able to talk, but the only words that came out were mumbled and immpossible to understand. Naia laid in the hot sand hopig the thing above her will help her.

Zoe instantly saw the girls sturggle. She desperatly needed help. Zoe took charge and picked the girl up with ease, without thinking. It never occured to her that this girl could be prentending to be in need and could just be waiting to slay her for food or something. But thoughts like that arent running in Zoe's mind at the moment...her Savior natures took over and she continued to carry the girl to the waterhole.

As she walked...it took atleast a half hour to get there...her wings dripped a trail of blood. Zoe hoped they wouldn't be followed by a vicious animal or someone...

As they reached the water, Zoe gently set the stranger down near the water. She cupped her hand and dipped it in the water and leveled the girls head. She poured water into the girls mouth and hoped that she would swallow, awake, and be fine.

(no problem...i get like that all the time ^_~)

Meera walks slowly along in the desert. She shakes her water canteen and hears a very shallow swish she sighs and thinks -I better ration this water so i won't go thirsty out her in the desert- She ties her her hair up to get it off of her neck. Her brown hair is very hot soaking in the sun as she walks.

Meera looks down and sees a line of almost dry red liquid. She pokes her finger into it and says to herself -blood- she follows the trail for a long time taking little sips of water as she continues on. She finally makes it to a hole in the ground with water and the source of the blood. She runs over and says "I followed your trail of blood, are you okay" and studys the unfarmilliar face.

Zoe was startled by the stranger. She stayed crouched, holding the girls head so it doesnt fall on the sand, and stared up at the figure. She dcould not make out who it was because the sun was directly behind the figure and it seemed to swallow its face. Or that could be an excuse for poor vision. Zoe has had no water since she set off and carried a girl back 20 miles.

"Yeah, I am but I do not not know if this girl will be. And Who is asking?"

Meera said "oh, I'm sorry, I'm Meera. I haven't met you before but we can save the introductions for later. She takes out her canteen and fills it with water and says "is she consious?"

Zoe stole another quick glance at the girl in her arms. She looked back at Meera, "I do not know...I dont think so...Hopefully she will be soon. I found her about 20 miles out, I carried her here. I have given her water and I will be here untill she awakens." Zoe looked at the girl in her arms, hoping she would be alright.

Meera leans over and puts her ear near the girls chest and says "she's still breathing" She dumps a precious few drops of the water onto her face trying to wake her up. When she doesn't Meera turns to the other girl. Let me wash off your wings a bit. And looks for the spot that left the trail of blood.

Selena strolled out of the bushes. 'Man, why do I always have to take a shortcut that is full of poison ivy?!' she shouted out loud, cursing. Suddenly she noticed a couple of strangers. One of them actually not that strange to her at all. 'Meera!' she shouted happily. 'What are you doing here?'

Meera turned to see who the voice belonged to and she saw Selena relief rushed all over her face as she managed a weak smile she said "hi, these two are hurt do you have any water on you?"

Naia slowly opened her yellow eyes, she saw two people and then saw another person who was holding her. She tried to her lips and found they were moist. her eyes were still blury but she could make out the people around her. "where am I?" she asked turning her head to see desert all around her. She lifted her head but her neck hurt when she tried. After a few more moments everything was becoming into focus and she could see everyone more clearly. "who are you?" she asked.

(Ummmmm..... i don't think there are bushes in a desert....)

Zoe looked at the strnager awakening and the stranger emerging. She was startled from the emerging stranger, known by one as Meera. She looked down to the the girl awakening, and sighed of releif. She hoped she'd be okay.

"Hello there," She smiled warmly, as to show that she is there to help, not harm.

"I am Zoe." She said simply, then realized that it was too simple and needed an explanation.

"I had found you about twent miles or so off into the desert...I had landed here and made a watering hole with my wings. I had carried you here, knowing you needed water and help."

Meera smiled at the girl awakening and said "I'm glad that you're up. It seems like forever since she found you. What happened" Then held out her canteen saying "here, you can have the rest of the water that's in there if you want"

Zoe thought for a moment that Meera didn;t know there was a water hole a few feet away from them. Zoe smiled, hoping that the girl will be ok. The girl hadn't replied yet, but she decided to speak anyway, ismissing the thought that it may be rude. "Yes well If the girl wishes she may, but when shes done you can fill it up over there..." She jerked her hear torward the watering hole...

Meera said "oh I'm sorry, I didn't know" and she gets up and looks at the girl closely trying to see if she would be okay. She muttered softly "wow, it looks like she went through a lot"

'So, what happened here anyway? Where you attacked or something?' Selena asked, curious.

((Yes, right... No bushes... Well, it could have been a dried up oasis then..))
