Title: The lost goblet.
Description: It is very hot here.

Zorgn - June 15, 2004 03:07 AM (GMT)
Zorgn was inside Therab Volcano. Crawling through passages sometimes a foot high, Zorgn pressed on. Zorgn was looking for a lost goblet. The goblet was called "Therab's Dipper". It was supposed to be a wonderful goblet made of gold, with many beautiful stones fixed onto it. Made by dwarven craftsmen ages ago it is a prize any adventurer would die to have. Most of the people who went after it did die, most of the tunnels led into Therab's center, to death. Zorgn thought he had found the secret way.

As he came into a large tunnel Zorgn stood up and waited for his legs to stop aching. Looking around he saw the wall had gems imbedded into to it. Walking ver to the wall he started grabbing gems and stuffing them into his pockets.

Adsero - June 16, 2004 10:12 PM (GMT)
Adsero was following Zorgn and also grabed some gems, though she put them in pouches at her waist. "I'll get more gems than you because I have giant pockets!... Or was that pouches?" She paused then shrugged and continued to take the gems and shoved them into her pouches.

Mirazhe - June 16, 2004 10:27 PM (GMT)
Mirazhe had followed Adsero, as curious as the cat she resembled. "Adsero, what are you doing?" She was staring at her friend as though she were crazy. "Those aren't yours!... And anyway, you should use a dagger or something. That'd make it go much faster." She walked over to where Adsero was. She dropped her hand down and one of her throwing daggers slid into the palm of her hand. She used it to take out the gems, moving faster than both Zorgn and Adsero... but she stuck them all in one of adsero's pouches.

Zorgn - June 17, 2004 01:08 AM (GMT)
Zorgn stopped grabing gems for a moment to say to Adsero and Mirazhe, "I thought I wasn't followed, how did you get here? Are you after Therab's Dipper too?" Zorgn went and sat in the shadows and waited for a reply.

Mirazhe - June 17, 2004 01:19 AM (GMT)
Mirazhe shrugged and glanced over at Zorgon though she continued to take the gems. "I followed Adsero and Adsero followed you, and I'm really only here to help Adsero." She shrugged again, replacing her throwing dagger back up in its sheath up her sleeve. "And anyways, the katori hunters can always move without sound, its how we stalk our prey."

Zorgn - June 17, 2004 01:27 AM (GMT)
"Well, if you're here to help adsero whats she here for? Besides following me?" Zorgn sat very still and suceeded in fading into the shadows. It was amusing to use his Shadowdancer training outside of the Hall of Shadows.

Adsero - June 17, 2004 04:28 PM (GMT)
"I'm following you and grabing some gems while I'm at it. That's all really. Not sure what dipper your talking about. I assume that's what your looking for?" Adsero spoke to the shadows, not sure where in them Zorgn really was but figuring he could hear her non the less.

Zorgn - June 17, 2004 09:47 PM (GMT)
When Zorgn spoke he was revaled from the shadows, "Therab's Dipper is a goblet made a very long time ago by dwarven craftsmen. Even when it was made it was the best work to be found. Inlaid with gems and made of gold it is a prize that has been lost for ages. I have heard that it is supposed to be somewhere in these tunnels." Giving up on staying hidden Zorgn stood up and walked over to the center of the tunnel and looked down the path he would travel.

Mirazhe - June 18, 2004 03:08 AM (GMT)
Mirazhe had turned and leaned her back against the wall as she listened curiously. "That," she said when he had finished, "sounds like something you would be after Adsero... Is it real though? or is it just a legend?" She glanced at the gem covered wall on either side of her. "Judging by that though, I would think it quite real."

Adsero - June 18, 2004 04:48 PM (GMT)
"Hmm. It does indeed sound like something I would steal but Zorgn claimed it first so I'll let him keep it. I can always satisfy myself with all these gems. I will help you if you need it Zorgn." She made sure she couldn't fit anymore in her packs and then turned to Zorgn. "You lead the way."

Zorgn - June 18, 2004 09:35 PM (GMT)
"It may be just a ledgend. Either way, I'm still getting rich off this trip. I never expected to find a wall of gems. Well, I'm heading down the tunnel, if you want to follow come on." Having said this, Zorgn walked down the tunnel.

As he walked on, Zorgn admired the way the lava had carved the tunnel. Black glass lined the wall at times, gems at others. At times the tunnel would widen to huge proportions, with lava flowing near the walls, carving new tunnels. At last he came to a oint where the path split into three different tunnels. "Very cool stuff in here. Adsero, Mirazhe, any ideas on where to go?"

Bahamut - June 19, 2004 10:29 PM (GMT)
Bahamut appears from around the corner in front of Zorgn"Why not ask me? It is my volcano, after all, thief."He uses telekinesis to take a gem from his pocket. "You know, I thought you were better than this Mirazhe. I really did. Oh well. Anyways, this what you are looking for?"He holds up a goblet, Therab's Dipper.

Adsero - June 19, 2004 10:56 PM (GMT)
"I didn't know this was your volcano. Cool. I'm not entirely sure what we're looking for. Some kind of goblet with gems. Kinda like that one I would think." She pointed to the goblet in Bahamuts hands, oblivious to the fact that the goblet he held was the one they quested for.

Mirazhe - June 19, 2004 11:56 PM (GMT)
Mirazhe had shrugged, standing silently while she waited for the other two to make a decision. When Bahamut appeared, she blanched and at his comment, she whitened further. Her gold gaze turned down to the ground, her hands stuffed in the pockets of her pants. “Adsero, that IS the dipper,” she said after a moment though she didn’t look away from the ground around her feet. It had never accrued to Mira that the volcano belonged to Bahamut; belonged to anyone. She never thought that the gems or the dipper belonged to anyone either. Who would have? Anyone who would have paused to think, Mira decided. Bahamut is the god of fire and this is a volcano. Volcanoes and fire go together, she should have realized it.

Bahamut - June 20, 2004 12:45 AM (GMT)
"Yes, I found it before I became a god, when I lived here all alone. Ah, well. Anyways, if you don't mind, would you put those gems back? Oh never mind."He uses telekinesis to put them back."Why are people always trying to take them? Oh well. Anyways, you might as well leave now. I'm not giving you this. I'm going to have to put up some defenses for these tunnels....."

Zorgn - June 20, 2004 07:28 PM (GMT)
Zorgn sat down on the floor of the chamber, "This quest is done I think. It's kinda hard to make a god give up something he dosent want to give up. I hate the idea of being burnt to a crisp as much as anyone else." Zorgn began thinking about different ways to get the goblet, most ended in death.

Bahamut - June 25, 2004 04:36 PM (GMT)
"Yes well, nice meeting you all, nice seeing you again Mirazhe." He turns and walks back to his temple.
