Step by step, Nayr walked through the thick undergrowth, listening carefully, not missing a single breaking twig or the snap of a single branch in the distance. This place made him feel erie, he didn't like it one bit.
He stepped lightly, careful not so set off any bandit traps, or direct the attention of any bandits towards himself. Nayr heard songbirds all around him, just cathing glimpses of them as the gly past his gaze. He had his bow in hand, unloaded and untargeted, but always read, string tight, and handle warm.
The light from the gazing sun peered through the thick green canopy and into his eyes, blinding him momentarily. At that moment, a man attacked from the rear. Nayr spun, as he did so, he unquivered an arrow and knocked it. He pulled the string and let the arrow loose into the air as though it were a free bird, letting the arrow fly wherever it want at its own will. This arrow struck the attacker in the throat, through the adam's apple.
He drew another arrow, knocked it, turned, facing the original direction he was facing and fired his arrow into the heart of another man coming through the bushes at him. He heard another approaching and dropped low to the ground, arrow knocked...
Raine watched from above as the elven archer killed swiftly and quietly. Man, he's got skill... He thought as he watched from the trees. The elf shot off a couple more arrows, then hide in the brush around him. He saw someone approaching in high bushes, and realized what it was by its putrid smell. Bandit...
As the bandit was under his tree searching for the elf, Raine swooped down behind him, and at the same time unsheathing his katana. He silently fell down behind him and slit his throat, covering his mouth from a possible scream. As the body fell to the ground, he wiped the blood off his sword. "Disgusting..." He moaned. He looked down at the lying elf.
