Raine waited at the top of a hill under the cover of moonlight for movement. A summoned wolf lay by his side whining, nervous of the impeding attack. Raine's soft hand brushed the gray fur of his friend, watching the quiet camp in the woods. He prayed that the moon would keep a clear light shining down on him to guide his way. He sneered, enjoying the thought of causing a little bit of chaos; doing evil things to evil people. He took a drink from his flask and put it back into its holster. He waited.

A faint movement behind some trees broke the silence. A few seconds of silence came, then suddenly, Rayven juped out from behind a tree into a clearing. He looked around to see if anyone was watching him. After finding noone, he began to walk slowly through the clearing.

Watching the camp, a faint sound was heard to the left of Raine. He saw someone walking in the direction of the camp. Jumping down silently, he unseathed his katana and held the blade under the unaware person's chin. "What's beyond that clearing?"
