Title: Washed up
Description: many sightless nights....

rayven - May 28, 2004 02:16 PM (GMT)
Stars cover the midnight sky. The only things able to be heard are the waves splashing against an island and an owl, whooting lonely in a tree. There is one spot on the beach that is not tanned with the sand. The body of a young man is unconcious and near dying from exhaustion. Debris from a destroyed ship are washed up with the body. The man looks ahead while still on the beach and tries to pull himself up. Overcome with pain, he falls back down, hoping someone would come to his aid.

Mirazhe - May 28, 2004 09:10 PM (GMT)
Not to far from the man and the debris wandered a tall figure. It’s golden brown fur and chestnut hair looked almost black in the darkness though its brilliant gold cat-like eyes were clearly visible and seemed to almost be glowing. A sea breeze brushed past the figure, whipping her thin cotton dress around her form. The cotton had not been dyed so its white seemed bright in the darkness and against her fur. “Hm…” The sound vibrated in her throat as her nose was raised to the air. “A person?” The words came from her, her white fangs glittering in the moonlight.

The lion like woman moved across the sands with a natural grace, her gaze scanning the sands until she saw the destroyed ship and the body. Her pace instantly picked up, carrying her swiftly to the man’s side where she crouched down. She reached out a hand and placed it on his chest, was that a heartbeat? It was hard to tell. The furred hand moved to his neck, seeking his pulse… And she found it, faint as it was. “Sir?” The words came from her even as she moved the hand back to his chest and placed the other there beside it. “I’m not sure if you can hear me but you’re close to dying… I can change that but you have to not fight me.” She didn’t bother waiting for an answer, closing her eyes instead and concentrating. Her hands were surrounded by a faint green-gold light that slowly spread out until it completely covered the man, probing and seeking to find his problems and then to heal them.

The man suddenly burst into conciousness. His eyes showed fright beyond anything else.

Rayven: Who are you? Who am I?

He jumped up and quickly walked three steps and then stopped. He turned, back to the woman, but with a badly faked smile.

Rayven: May I ask, what is this place? I seem to have lost my.... memory. Could you help a lost soul?

Mirazhe - June 8, 2004 04:58 PM (GMT)
( ooc- ach, sorry it took me so long to reply. Dunno why, but this topic justed slipped meh mind.. I blame school --; )

Mirazhe jumped back with a start, landing on her behind in the sand, when Rayven pulled away from her. The healing spell she had been casting broke the moment she lost physical contact with the man. A curse was muttered under her breath as she quickly resheathed her sharp claws, hoping the man hadn't seen him. It wouldn't help her much.

When he questioned her, she frowned. "I'm Mirazhe and you sir, I don't have a clue as to who you are... I was walking and I found you laying there," she absently waved a hand towards where he had been laying. "So I started to heal you." As she spoke she shifted slightly so that she was covered by darkness more so than before. "And I'd be glad to help you sir, you have crashed in Imythess... On the coast of the Astendan Isles to be exact."

rayven - June 10, 2004 02:03 PM (GMT)
Rayven seemed to be trying to recall something.

Rayven: Isles....Isles....What Isles?

Rayven's face went blank suddenly.

Rayven: The Isles! I am all the way out here?! It would take a few months at full speed to sail back to my land. How will I ever return?

He paced back an forth. After a few seconds, he stopped and looked back to Mirazhe.

Rayven: Do you have any idea of where I could go to get help?

Verling - June 27, 2004 06:15 PM (GMT)
Overhearing there conversation Verling walked up to Rayven and saying"Hello my name is Verling I would like to assist you in any way I can".

Selena Starling - June 27, 2004 08:01 PM (GMT)
As Selena heard voices, she decided to come a little closer. She was curious who the people where that were standing a few feet away from her. Though her sight was very much improved once she had turned herself into a wolf, she still could not tell who they were. She hadn't seen any of them before. Or had she? Yes. She could recognize someone now. A warrior. Verling. He went to the same school as her.

Verling - July 2, 2004 08:30 PM (GMT)
Verling noticed someone coming towards them when he turned around he saw a wolf in the distance. He payed no attention to it and turned back around hoping it would leave.

Säleth - July 3, 2004 03:26 PM (GMT)
Säleth stood, casually leaned against a tree. She laughed to herself seeing many people had gathered around some shipwrecked fool to rescue him. Why do they waste their time on someone they don't even know.... She thought, slightly baffled by random acts of kindness. She scoffed as she noticed a curious looking wolf nearby.
