*Epona sat on a small rock, beside one of the large gushing waterfalls, letting crystal clear water slide down her face and body, her dark purple hair becoming damp and heavy. She had wrapped the numerous ribbons in her hair around her plait in a braid, hoping to shield it from some water, but to no avail. Now, as she sat, gazing up at the clear blue sky, the water raining down on her beautiful face, she sang, a sweet melody that filled the area, echoing from the caverns and caves, filling the lake with sweet song. She dipped her pure white feet into the cold sparkling water, swishing it about, playing, still singing her sweet song, her mouth in a small sweet smile.*

Mai walked along the falls and caught wind of the sweet melody and the music filled her ears like an invisible liquid.She followed the song to the dove who was singing it the notes fell like falling leaves in the autum,soft and slow and greacfully.She smiled softly her motherly smile and she closed her eyes and listened.She had then unconciously pulled out her flute and played the song after hearing it long enough.She played the notes to an exact point and thwe flutes accompaniment intertwined with the sweet notes of the voice making the music twice as beautiful.It rang through the falls and the sky birds passing by seemed to slow down just to catch a few notes of the music and the waterfall seemed to be trying to fall to the music as well everything was right at that moment in time

*Epona looked up, and stopped singing when she heard the flute, but as soon as she saw who it was, she began to sing again, the sound mixing with the flute to create a melody so beautiful the birds were stopping to listen. She looked over to the flute player, having no idea who she was, and gave her friendly smile, all the while singing her beautiful song.*

Mai winked to her and continued to play buit was now sitting next to the girl.She then came to her own ending that fit the song and faded away.She placed the flute down onto her lap and waited for ther girl to finish as well.Shje caught the small smile and continued to listen

*Epona finished her song with a smile, and turned to the other girl with a friendly face.*

"Thank you for joining in with the song, it made it sound wonderful."

*She sat astride the rock she was already sitting on, so as to talk better with the girl. She held out a delicate hand, to shake the girl's.*

"My name is Epona. What's yours?"

Mai smiled and looked to her hand not very sure of the jesture..but took it and shook" My name is Maitalina..but you can call me Mai..and your singing was beautiful Epona..I'm practicing to be a Bard so I couldnt help it"she giggled softly"so...How taught you to sing like that..its sounded like a Nightingales song"she winked

*Epona blushed and smiled at her.*

"Uh, no one really, I'm part Angel, so, naturally, it comes with the Halo..."

*She fiddled around with the small, almost invisible Halo on the top of her head, as if to prove a point. It fell lop-sided on the top of her head, but instead of bothering to try and straighten it, she left it alone, looking back to Mai.*

"You're practicing to be a Bard? How interesting... I've always wanted to be a Bard, but all I can do is sing..."

Mai smiled at the lo-sided Halo and laughed
well I guess SAngels do have beautiful voices
she grinned at her
Then why not become one...There are soime bards who sing..its just they are hard to find and singing is in all parts opf barding..they sometimes sing and tell stories..their songs can cast spells and everything..the are also usful becauyse since the sing opr play an intrument they dont have to stay in one spot to cast a spell

*Epona's eyes widened with excitement, and she clapped her hands together, her dark green eyes emitting sparks.*

"Really? Wow, I'd love to become one, do you really think I could?"

Mai nodded and smiled happily at the Epona's excitment
oh yes oh coarse..with a voice like that you could be a great bard...but you might also want to learn how to play an instrument as well..you see i can sing but I want to work on my insrtrumental skill first before I learn more on my singing so you see..its good it learn a good variety of musicial instruments

She picked up her flute

You might want to try the flute first though...its the easiest to learn in my oppion

she pressed the flute to her lips and started to play a soft and sweet melody but it was short

*Epona nodded, listening intently to Mai, her bright green eyes lit up.*

"Yes, i see. Hmm, maybe I should learn to play an instrument. Flute does seem rather nice, the way you played it earlier sounded wonderful. Maybe I will..."

Mai chuckled

Why thank you...and I think you should you would make a most remarkable Bardswoman and maybe you and I can play together when we both get better at the art..what do you say?

She was glad to see someone so eager to become a bardswoman and it made her want to become one even more as well

*Epona nodded with a friendly smile.*

"Sure! That'd be great, I've love that."

*She smiled at Mai once more and began to hum softly, wich turned into words, and into another song. She inwardly laughed at herself. She just loved to sing too much.*

Mai listened intently to Epona's voice and it gave she slight goose bumps and she picked up her flute and played an accompaniament for the song that she sang it turned out beautifully
