Veronna sat at the edge of the cavern thinking about what happened. The sun was still high in the sky and she was wishing that it would set soon, because she hates the sun.

She was thinking about going deeper into the caverns but wasn't sure what was in there.

An odd looking old man walks up beside her.
"Greetings servant of Lolth.", he says calmly.

She looked at him and said "and what do you want?"

I heard of you and came to ask why you are here and not in the Abyss with the rest of the Drow. For honorable reasons I hope. How did you earn so much money so as to purchase all of that equipment?

She looked at him with hatred because she did not like people nosing into her busniess. "the reson i'm not in the Underdark is because I....failed a test" she said in a hurry not wanting to go to deep into the test she had. "and this equipment is what i have left" she spat.

The look on Pelor's face was one of utter suprise and awe. "I was under the impression that those who failed the test became Dryders. How did you manage to remain a Drow?", he said with a tone that hinted respect rather than suspiscion.

"because it was some other test" she said to him starting to get annoyed by all these qustions.

"I see", the man said with pity. "I know what it feels like to be away from your family and friends. My family and friends were slaughtered. I thought that you were a servant of evil when I heard of your arrival but now I'm not so sure. If you ever need to talk, my doors are always open." Pelor turns around and takes two steps back out into the fading light when three men jump on him! They appear to be a mage, a priest, and a paladin. "Help!", cries Pelor.

Veronna drew her scimitars and ran forward to help. She went after the mage first because she has no magic and he is the biggest threat.

The men were screaming "No false Gods!" as Pelor cried out for help. When they heard the ringing of the scimitars they all spun around and the Paladin said, "You would fight us to save someone who insulted you, whom you hardly know? Are not all Drow evil?"

"uhh..." she didn't know what to say she didn't even know what possed her to help out Pelor.

"That will be all gentleman.", said Pelor standing up.
"Yes my lord.", said the Paladin as the three walked away. As they do so you notice they each bear a crest of Pelor.
"Well, it seems I was wrong about you. Please, just because you have lived in the dark so long, do not turn away from the light. All though you may not forgive me for what I did, I wanted to test you. To see if you still clung on to the evil remnants of your past life. I'm still not completly sure about you. But, you have earned my respect and that can get you very far in Imythess. I will contact you later on. You are welcome always at my temple." With that, he was gone.

She stood there stunned and speechless, with nothing to say as he left, as she usually did.
