Title: Rumours....

Xylia - February 15, 2004 10:40 PM (GMT)
Xylia looked up at the night sky, the stars were twinkling like little jewels overhead and the moon was full. The moon's light was casting an eerie light on the lake's surface. Xylia wasn't completely sure of the lake's name but she had heard rumours of caverns that existed, although the only entrance was at the bottom of the lake.

Xylia stood on a log that protruded from the shore of the lake. She closed her eyes and took a deep breath. She wore tight, blood red pants and a black sleeveless top.

"One cannot swim in a dress...."

She then slowly outstretched her hands above her head and dived deep into a lake, causing a small splash.

Feiori Taispen - February 15, 2004 10:52 PM (GMT)
Feiori stared at the falls, enjoying at last some quiet. He smiled, and closed his eyes. He lay back against the trunk of the tree he was sitting in. Even though the roar of the falls covered the splash beneath him, he couldn't help but feel he wasn't alone anymore. He opened his eyes and sighed, then hopped of the branch and onto a rock over hanging the lake. He crouched down, and peered over the edge. Maybe i won't get to relax after all...

Xylia - February 15, 2004 10:57 PM (GMT)
Xylia felt an aura near, she turned around and began to swim to the surface. The cavern wasn't going to go anywhere. She was curious to see what other being was at the lake.

Xylia broke the surface near the edge of the lake and she could see a figure in the night. She shook her head and her wet curls flew around her. She then silently swam nearer to this stranger.

"Maybe I should not see who this creature is. He or she could be dangerous. Although, I could never control my curiosity and I doubt I can start now."

Xylia swam until she was right near the edge of the lake, she wondered if the being knew of her presents.

Feiori Taispen - February 15, 2004 11:04 PM (GMT)
Feioris gaze shifted from the lake, to a nearby cavern. He crept closer to it, trying to decide what splashed were from the waterfalls, and from the creature watching him. He smiled to himself, remembering a time when a spalsh at a waterfall, or a snapped twig in a forest would be passed off as nothing. A time when he wasn't constantly afraid of being killed. He shook his head, ridding himself of the thoughts, and focused his energy on the cavern. His blade rang as he drew it, and He stepped into the cavern.

Xylia - February 15, 2004 11:13 PM (GMT)
Xylia felt the man's aura shift from peaceful to anxious. She shook her head, hating herself for disturbing him. The ring of steel could be heard clearly from ever corner of the lake.

Xylia realized the man probably thought she was trying to sneak up on him. She shook her head again and using telekinesis she flew out of the water, droplets falling all around her.

She called out to him, "Please, forgive me. I did not mean to startle you. I was only curious to who else was at this beautiful and peaceful place."

Feiori Taispen - February 15, 2004 11:20 PM (GMT)
Feiori nearly fell backwards into the water out of suprise. When his heartbeat returned to normal, he sheathed his sword, thankful he wouldn't need to use it. "Well if it's time for appologies, I suppose I am also sorry for disturbing your swim." He lowered his head in a slight bow. "I'm Feiori Taispen. And what may I call you?" He raised his head, and leaned against a tree trunk, his gaze again returning to the falls. I've become so paranoid...

Xylia - February 15, 2004 11:25 PM (GMT)
Xylia floated down and landed gently on the shore. She pulled her long, dark, and wet curls behind her. She walked closer to Feiori and then responded, "I am Xylia, The Maiden and Sorceress of The Rose, The Chaotic Mistress and Gypsy."

She smiled inwardly. Her title had grown quite long. She had once only been Xylia, but she felt in necessary to tell people who she was completely. She paused for a few moments and then began to speak once more, "You may call me Xylia, or Rose if you prefer. It doesn't not make a difference to me" As she said this she curtsied slightly, her black eyes catching the moonlight and glinting softly.
