Adsero walked among the people. They all seemed to have something shiny and she was happy to steal it from them. After snaching severl things she went off into a corner and looked at her stash. Mostly coins, some jewelry, and a strange thing-a-ma-bob. She didn't know their value but beging shiny made them worth stealing.

Vincent walked the path, red hair flowing from movement. He was looking for a good place to rest. He found a small corner by an oriental magic shop. He sat down and closed his eyes. He used his bat ears to listen to his environment. HE felt the movement. It was a wonderful feeling. He senced everything. The slightest movements of a supposidly magic statue, that looked like a man who painted himself. He saw a man searching the ground for somthing he lost. He saw everything it, was the greatest, to feel all that movement. He even senced the local pickpocket checking her stash.

She watched the vampire out of the corner of her eye. She knew better then to try and rob him. She looked around for something fun to do. She smiled as she caught site of a potion someone was working on. Her eyes turned red/orange and set set the ption alight. The brown color in her eyes returned as she let the fire burn on its own and sat back to watch the startled people in the room. Whenever she saw someone go to put it out, she feed it enough strength to stay lit. When she got bored of that, she looked around again. Eventually she settled on making a small, foot high ring of fire around the vampire. That done, she leaned back and shut her eyes, listening for his reaction.

Vincents eyes shot open. Fire had surrounded him. Vincent hated fire, he was not afraid of it. He just hated the sight of it. He whispered a word and turned into a bat. He flew over the fire and landed outside of it. He hated when people disturbed his naps. He really hated it. He walked over to where he had seen the fire energy swarm from. His ears could sence the waves of energy. The theif had done it. He drew his sword and walked infront of the theif. "Do you enjoy playing with fire? becarful though little girl, you might get burned." he said and put the blade of sword to her neck. He didnt really think she was little, but it added a nice touch.

Adsero ignored the blade. Death didn't scare her. She'd seen too much of it to be bothered any longer. She simply smiled sweetly. "You are smart, yes? Sorry about the fire. I thought it would be fun. Didn't relise it would bother you so." The fire disappeared. Adsero didn't make any move to draw her sword or defend herself.

"if you dont want to bother people, why dont you put out that fire and give back those things you stole? or do you need them to live?...... perhaps you could be of some use to me......" Vincent said and put his sword back into its sheif. He stood full height and looked at her "I am vincent, and might I ask your name?" he said realising an extreamly large amount of fire energy swarmed inside her body. Couldnt be a god..... they release energy wherever they go. The race of this girl must be made of fire.

Adsero stood up. "I'm Adsero. And I don't really need these, it's just fun to steal. And how can I be of use?" Her eyes narrowed. "It doesn't include water, does it?" She looked over at the fire she had started. "I'll put it out if you want." She let the fire die and looked back at Vincent.

Vincent laughed "no, no water sorry. Yet, it does require stealing, that it does" He said and stretched his arms. "you see in a day or so, an exibit will be added to the hall. A large vial of dragons blood. About a gallon of it. Dragons blood sells for more then a pound of gold per ounce. So suppose i let you have about half, if you help me?" Vincent said trying to sound as heartily grand as possible. He quikly pulled out his dagger, twirled t, and put it away. "what do you say?" he asked.

Adsero thought about it. "Ok, but you keep the blood. It doesn't sound very shiny. I steal for the pleasure, not the money. So, where is this exhibit? I assume you want the blood to drink?"

"yes, dragons blood has very special powers.... The exibit will be in the entrance hall in the main chamber." vincent said grinning and tilting his head towards the hall. He looked around, people were still occupied with why the potion had caught fire, and were wandering around thinking. Vincent turned back to adsero "meet me at the entrance to the hall tonight at nine thirty it should be up by then." he said waiting for a responce.

aAdsero nodded. "Sounds good, but how do I know when it's nine-thirty? I can't read time." Adsero rubbed the back of her neck idly. She didn't like confessing to her own ignorance.

Vincent looked up. "when standing at the gate way, if you look up The moon should be prfectly alligned with a small hole on the tower at nine thirty. then you should know." he said and turned around. "see you then" he said and begain to walk towards the exit. "oh" he said and turned around "dont bring anything thats noisy". He grinned and continued walking. As soon as he got outside, he jumped up onto the roof and sat waiting. He would wait until nine twently five.

"Right."

9:29. In front of the exhibit

Adsero waited while looking around. She looked at some other things they had up, watching the place the dragons blood out of the corner of her eye. Once they were gone she walked around the display. Acting as innocent as possible, she went up to the manager. "Aren't you afraid someone will steal it?" The manager bought the act and shook his head. No my dear lady. There will be five guards positioned around the dragons blood. No need to worry, you see? Plus we have put up a magical barrior to keep out all those who don't know the pasword of locking. It's the pasword used to lock and unlock the barrior. Adsero nodded and thanked him then moved a little ways away, dropping a fire ball the size of a fly neer the man's feet.

The fire ball followed the man and listened as he locked the barrior. When he had gone and the few people in the room shufled out, Adsero walked right out side the door and screamed then quickly hid. When two of the guards ran out, she slit their throats and moved them off to the side. There were still the three left to deal with so she screamed once more. "Oh my god! You killed the guards!" And hid again. This time two more came out and met the same end. She walked back into the room. The last guard noded but rested his hand on his sword. Adsero was quick and threw one of her swords towards his heart but he nocked it aside. When he swong, she ducked uder and killed him with her second sword. She replaced both in their sheths and went up to the barror. The fire ball gave her the code and she unlocked it. She grabed the blood and walked casually out to the vampire. "That wasn't so hard."

Vincent was waiting outside. "..... you couldve waited for me" he said frowning. HE took the vial from adsero and examined it. "your sure you got the right one?" he asked, staring at the bottle. THe blood was very similar to dragons blood, but for some reason it seemed less dence. Vincent had seen dragons blood once before. He had seen one of his spawn drink a sip and become a enirly new race of demon. HE had power beyond power. But this blood seemed to be different. "well bottoms up.." he said, and pulled off the top. He put his mouth to the tip of the bottle and begain to drink. It was an odd taste. When he ffinished he had an after taste in his mouth. "that was..... strawberry juice..." vincent said astonished.

"Hey, I just took what they put there. It's not my problem I don't know what dragon's blood looks like. Want me to go back in there and see if the real dragons blood is somewhere? Mabye they knew I was coming." Adsero didn't like to fail but she did what he had asked and had happened to have been tricked.

"yes i was planning to come with you in the first place, but you started without me. Now lets go" vincent said and burst through the door. He looked around. The corpses of the gaurds lay on the ground. Vincent looked around. The spot which the vial was in was empty. Vincent walked up to it. The spot that the vial had been was odd. There was a large circle the size of the bottle vincent had smashed, and a smaller circle of about the same depth. "someone was here befor us and replaced the vial..." vincent said. In the corner of his eye he thought he saw a shadow move.

Adsero looked at the circles. "It does appear that way. Sorry, I didn't look very closely. I don't really know what dragons blood looks like." Adsero didn't see the shoadow but got the feeling someone else was here.

"we have a visitor...." vincent whispered. He slowly drew the hilt of his sword a few inches. "possible the one who got here befor us..." He drew it one more inch. "i think he should pay.." Vincent quikly dashed towards the figure, to quik for the human eye. He attaemted to shove his sword right into the person but they doged easily. THey were dressed in nothing but black. Vincent swing his sword at the person, but they dodged again. "wow hes fast!"

Adsero turned and looked at this black figure. The fire ball she had made took the shape of a large dog and bit the stranger but to no avail. Cremo was easily tossed off. It went at the stranger a second time, staying in place and burning through the persons clothes and skin.

Vincent did a backflip and landed behind the person. He pulled out his dagger and dashed towards him. The man shook the dog off and jumped into the air dodgin vincents attack. Vincent jumped into the air and glided down with his cape right behind the figure. He thrust forward with his dagger wounding the mans arm. The person then jumped back and ran towards the exit.

Adsero looked at the vapire. "Should we follow 'em?" The dog srunk back to the size of a small ball but seemed very displeased at his failed attempt. Adsero stood there in indecision.

"YES YOU FOOL!" vincent hissed and dashed towards the door. The man had jumped outside onto the roof. Vincent backflipped onto the roof and followed. "the blood is mine!" vincent yelled as he race up towards the tip of the roof. His footsteps could barely be heard.

Adsero ran after them and, too, jumped onto the roof. The man ran swiftly across the shingled but the wound from his arm left a trail, especially since he was running and hadn't even tried to bind it in any way. Adsero followed just as fast though was still behind due to her delay in action. Her bare feet were slightly scraped on the rough shingles but she hardly noticed. She was determined not to fail at this job.

Vincent chased after the man. The tip of the roof grew nearer. Just befor the man hit the very top, he jumped. He jumped forward off the roof and flew downwards abot fifty feet. He landed swiftly and continued running. Vincent stopped at the tip. He couldnt jump that well. He crouched down on his knees and scanned the area. (see avatar)
