Title: The Light of the Darkness
Description: Only one or two other people please

Kemi - October 9, 2008 06:02 PM (GMT)
Evals moved through the dimmly lit darkness. The only light around was the one emitting from her Latern. She shuffled through the tunnels of the Dark Lands uncaringly. She had not left the Dark Lands in years, not after what happened. She barely could remember but knew it was something bad. Her decaying brain lost it's memory of somethings once in a while but she usually kept every locked in her memory.

The zombie girl had been traveling through this darkness for an hour or so without the sight of anything, nor sound. Well, there was sound but it was most of the time extermly faint or it belonged to herself. She wore her cloak around herself as she moved, it just coming down to her ankles, ragged shoes touched the ground. One sleeve was extend in front of the darkened figure holding a small source of light, the latern of course, it emitted just enough light to see a few feet in front of her.

After a while a sound set her off, something was close and coming in her direction. She couldn't tell from which way because it echoed quietly. She turned off her light, she could see a few feet without it easily after a minute or two in the darkness. She was dead already, what was keeping her from not seeing in the dark. She got close to the wall and didn't move as she roughly leaned against it, unless this person had a good light source she might be mistaken as a rock feature, she intended on seeing what it was. If it was an animal living down here she could get a small meal at least

He could kill Mara. Destroy her. Use his power and tear her apart, rip her flesh from her body, but no. He couldn't. She was stronger, and she has something he needed, something he wanted so bad. He never wanted to become power hungry, but it was necessary for him to destroy his father, which will happen soon, very soon. But now, it was the Black Harvest, a time not for not revenge, well, not on his family at least. This month, was a cruel remember, it was the same month his family banished him, the same month he destroyed his own life. Everything had gone wrong. If he hadn't helped his sister, then he would be the head of the Golden line by now, ruling over his family, a "happy" life.

He grumbled under his breath as he strode through the dark tunnels of the Dark Lands. He let the darkness fall around him as he went. He had the spell ebony eyes on, so he could see easily through the darkness as if it was day. He continued on his way, his drow cloak hit against his ankles as he went, since there was no breeze down here. The cloak was dark, and had a almost shimmering look to it, to show that it was magical.

He had two swords on his side, both katanas, the right one was Ismon, and the left Aparul. His hair was long, a bit past his ears, so the studs of horns protruding from his head were visible poking through the hair. His skin was extremely pale, he liked it that way instead of the original red. He noticed a light ahead, but it was quickly out. Interest drew on him, and he headed towards where the light once was, but then stopped. A cruel smile flitting across his head. He cocked his head to the side, looking at the strange undead creature that leaned against the wall, as if trying to hide.

"Well, you're sure a disgusting thing, aren't you?" He laughed then, appearing to be in almost good humor, if possible.

Evals waited as it came closer and instantly spoke out to her. She winced when found out and saw no light. It wasn't close enough to see in this darkness, not even for her being dead all of this time. She turned the latern back on and used her hand to focus the light towards the source of the voice. She kept her hood up covering her face and cloak around her body.

Looking at him she only replied with disgust at his words. "Well now, I could ssssay the sssame about you...Devil" she hissed in her undead teen voice. Despite being dead for all of this time she hasn't aged physically, and barely mentally. The creature before her didn't seem Human, but more like a Devil or a Demon. She didn't want to associate with these kind of creatures, not after that necromancer had split her soul to keep her alive as a zombie. Now she couldn't rest like normal dead people. She hadn't moved much besides her hands. Not until now anyways, she stood up from the wall and removed her hood. Her skin on her face wasn't decayed much but more pale looking, besides one ear which was half there. She had moved her hand from the latern and letting the light fill the area around them, she would need it to see him.

OOC: Sorry it is short, I made this post while in school. TT.TT

As the undead turned the lantern back one, Fehade blinked his eyes slightly, releasing the spell he had had on, and now looked at the creature with his normal eyes, the red seeming to gleam brighter, and crueler. He grinned when it spoke, and chuckled slightly when it called him a devil. No one had ever called him that before, he almost liked it.

"Now, that's a new one, no one ever called me that before... I must be more ruthless then I thought." He smirked. One of his hands played on the hilt of Ismon, running his fingers along it. "But, I still preferred to be called by my name: Fehade. Better then you spouting off those little pointless words." He said. Everyone called him a monster, or tiefling, like he was, or just a demon, which he also was. The demon infused watched the creature as she revealed her face, and to him, she didn't look that dead, but it was still obvious to him that she was, mainly because of the smell of decay.

As she moved her hand from the lantern, the light grew brighter, he narrowed his eyes slightly as they adjusted to it. He then considered hacking the thing to pieces, he could, but then, that would be little fun right now, it would waste time, though, stopping was wasting time. He smiled slightly.

"But you better watch what you say... I have enough power to send you back to hell if I want too. But enough threats. I want to know who animated you." He basically asked the girl. His voice cool. Mara always took interest in other necromancers.

Kemi - October 16, 2008 04:55 PM (GMT)
Evals kept her distaste for the situation at hand and kept her distance as well. Well, he wasn't a Devil, but that would be what she would referre to him as until she saw a reason to call him by the name that was given. Her lifeless eyes lay sat upon him more pale then her face, once blue irises could be seen highly faded out in the center of both of her eyes. No pupels to dialate in the light or darkness.

Then a question was asked tha gave her a tick. Glaring at him with loathing, he knew she was a zombie and no reason to hide it much anymore. It was obvious to see one in these tunnels. The question was quite a touchy one she didn't want to answer. Keeping her dead eyes on him she stepped forward like she would attempt to strike out at him. "That'ssssss none of your businessssss!" she spat at him, she didn't want to talk to anyone about that anymore. Not again, last person didn't care and telling who animated her was a simple enough question, but had a long detailed history behind it she hated to think about.

Images of her past seemed to flashed before her eyes, unseen to the outside world she took there seemingly in a trance. It only lasted a few seconds to everyone but hours of memories to her. Her nightmares coming to life during the day, wait, was it day time? She wasn't sure of the time anymore, the true light of day had not touched her for a few years. Focusing back on Fahade in front of her she looked with a hint of curiousity have forgotten her earlier rage at him. "Hey, by any chanccccce do you know what time of day it isssss?" she asked politly doubting he would answer but asked anyways.

Fehade - October 18, 2008 05:46 PM (GMT)
"That'ssssss none of your businessssss!"

Tsk, tsk. I'd hold your temper around me, little one." He hissed, leaning closer to the undead, his bright red eyes gleaming cruelly. He flicked his wrist slightly, and a small flame appeared in the palm of his hand, the flame flickering like a candle. He could fling the flame at her and let it grow so i would burn her to the ground, but she was slightly entertaining. Once he got bored, he would crush her, it would be nice to test his new spells on.

"Hey, by any chanccccce do you know what time of day it isssss?"

"Like hell I know." He snapped for no reason then. He truly didn't know what time of day it was. He had come in here at night, but that was hours, possibly even days ago. "But you shouldn't worry about the day... its not like you'll get a chance to see the sun, little one." Fehade smirked.

He then unleashed his unholy aura, that was thick, and then cause fear on the little undead. It didn't seem to fear him enough, and he liked being feared by all.

"Well, I'm getting bored, so lets make this meeting a little more fun." He then grinned wickedly. He closed his fist over the flame, instantly putting it out, then his hissed words of magic under his breath, lashed out a hand, and right near the girl, a large flame snapped up from the ground.

Kemi - October 19, 2008 02:44 PM (GMT)
Evals wasn't intimidated by the red eyes of Fahade. She gave him a stern look in return. She would have spat at him for that if he wasn't possibly holding up on his end of the threats. She couldn't be sure that he would or wouldn't and didn't want to take that chance. She kept the flame in mind as an example of what he might do to her. He only then snapped at her at her second question. No need to be rude about it now, she didn't like his words about anything anymore. She only stepped back wondering if she should go above ground just to go against what he said.

An aura seemed to come from him, demonic for sure. She couldn't say she liked it, not disliked it ether. It was just something that lingered there, she was already dead and had a huge dislike for most of the world. She gave a sarcastic look at it before fear filled her from something. She didn't know what then the devil spoke again.

At his words flames came from the ground. She jumped back and fell to the ground. Her latern fell to the ground and cracked. She would have to get that fixed by someone or something. The fire ignited quickly in the latern before dying out. She covered her face with one of her arms from the fire coming from the ground. In retaliation she put her other hand out palm facing him. She cursed to herself before saying a word to cause pain to hit Fahade. "Pain!" she shouted using her Inflict Minor Wounds spell she didn't realise what she had just done. This devil may get rid of her for that. She would have to hope for the best.

Fehade - October 19, 2008 06:09 PM (GMT)
He laughed cruelly as the fear finally set in on her, and as she jumped back, and fell as the fire sprang up beside her. He waved his hand, the flame instantly going out. He took a couple steps toward the creature, but then she used magic, as she said the word "pain" He stopped, and stood still, a hand clenched his side, and slouched over, and gasp in a slight pain that seared through him, and on his side a wound opened up, blood coming slowly from it. It wasn't that bad of a wound, but enough to be annoying. He glared at the girl, and eyes narrowed in anger.

"You little..." He hissed. "People say my manners are bad." He grumbled under his breath. "Well, you are a complete arse. You should hear Mara complaining how your always threatening people. I once knew someone who could put you in your place easily." The demon infused laughed in Fehade's head, though, the tiefling completely ignored him.

He pointed his left hand at the undead creature, his hand covered in dark crackling mist. "Hm... how do we kill a undead... we'll experiment." He said, grinning cruelly.

He hissed dark magic words under his breath, and pointed his finger at Evals, then a bolt of negative energy shot forth, straight for the girl. She could possibly dodge it, but not many did.

Kemi - October 19, 2008 10:54 PM (GMT)
Evals glared at the devil without hesitation she went to move from the spell. She didn't stand up in time and the spell hit her in the side. She fell back down, it didn't hurt. It took her a moment to realise what spell he had used. It compressed life force to kill people, it wouldn't work on her. If that is all he had she would be able to hold out for a while then, or at least get away. She wanted to piss him off though, spell for spell, or one for three. Staggering upwards and leaning on her own legs she lifted her hand again and muttered three repeated words under her breath quietly. "Pain, pain, pain." it was only a whisper but the spell would still be put into effect each time she said it. She shouldn't use this much magic at once but she wanted to see how mad he would get and if he would notice his spell didn't do anything besides knock her back down with the strike.

Standing up straight she continued to hold her hand out as if threatening to do it again. She doubted it would effect the devil as much as she hoped but only wanted to get out of this in anyway. She was planning on grabbing her latern and running after his next attack if he performed one. She would have to get out of this cloak if she wanted to run. She will do that next chance she got, it would look weird if she started taking off her clothes. She wore a boy's clothes oddly enough. She disliked wearing dresses, and despite being dead she kept her personality from when she was live.

Fehade - October 20, 2008 12:11 AM (GMT)
He watched as his spell hit her, but it didn't seem to do anything, much to his disappointment, but oh well. He merely smirked slightly, his eyes gleaming ever the more brightly, enjoying this greatly, even as his side stung with pain. Then, the undead used the spell again three times in a row. His eyes widened slightly, as a couple wounds opened on his chest, and one on his leg. He put a hand onto his chest then pulled it away, looking at the crimson blood. He looked back up at the girl, his eyes narrowing in annoyance.

"Very well, if dark magic doesn't work on you, then we'll stick with fire." He moved his left hand through the air in a odd circle of a motion, and then fire sprang up in a twenty foot radius around them, so if she ever tried to run away, she would have to go through fire. He grinned, as he held his hand out, and in the palm, grew a ball of fire.

He brought his hand back and threw the fireball at her, the flaming ball flowing through the air at a high speed.

Kemi - October 20, 2008 09:20 PM (GMT)
Evals hissed when fire came from his hands again. That wouldn't be too friendly if touched. This was getting worse and worse every moment. She moved towards him when he throw a fireball at her. She had started to remove her cloak before she started to move and quickly dropped it back down around her when the fireball came at her. She put up her arms to block the front of the attack and decided to drop down instead. Her legs buckled without mecry and she fell onto the ground. Onto her knees and arms she looked up at him.

Spring onto her legs she leaped forward torwards him. She moved one of her fingers in a horizontal motion aimed at his forehead. "Pain." she whispered again aiming the cut to be formed somewhere on his head. She had never tried to aim the location of this spell but it couldn't hurt now. She would have to stop using it or she will not be able to use it again for a while, or any magic. Not that she knew anymore besides that but she could always try and learn. What if she did learn something new and didn't have any magical energy left? She wouldn't be able to try it.

In her leap she went to tackle into Fahade with her shoulder. She turned after crossing with her finger and went to ram into his chest. Maybe stomach if she fell short. If she hit him she hoped he would fall towards the fire. If she didn't she might hit the fire.

Fehade - October 22, 2008 01:30 AM (GMT)
He sighed as he spell missed once again. At least the wench was still trapped here. He watched her as she jumped to her feet, and pointed at him again, and used the spell again. Pain shot through his head, and he felt a wound slowly open around his head. He growled in pain and frustration. He put his hand to the wound and used heal on it, so it basically closed immediately. He glared at the girl.

"Want to take this up to the next level then?" He hissed. Then she dashed towards him and planned to knock him over. As she came at him, he stepped to the side swiftly, but before she could hit the fire, he reached out, grabbed her arm, and swung her back, and none to gently either, and shoved her back, hoping she would trip and fall.

His right hand clenched his right katana and he drew it from its scabbard. He took a step towards the undead, his eyes still hard. He then slashed with his sword, the blade aiming smoothly towards her throat, if it did hit, it would slice her head off nicely, but if she managed to dodge it, it would go through empty air. As he used his sword, he mumbled a word under his breath, and used the same spell she had on him, but to her. It might not do much, but anything to slow her down so he could slice her to pieces.

Kemi - October 22, 2008 04:56 PM (GMT)
Evals was grabbed in her tackle. She didn't have the chance to get her footing to push him back before she was thrown back. Without her footing she fell backwards after tripping. She sat up on the ground looking at him with what could be mistaken for fear, but was confusion. If he threw another fireball at her she would be fried. Well depends on where she was hit and how badly she was hit. Instinctively she moved her hand up to block anything. It wouldn't work as a katana came towards her. It went by her arm and towards her neck. Was this death to her? No, it wasn't. The blade connected and made a clean sweep through her flesh, her jugular, her spinal cord, her throat and out the other side. "Devil..." she whispered quickly.

The dead girl's head came off and fell onto the ground. It rolled a bit as the body fell backwards. It looked dead enough, no blood was coming out of the neck in any places. All the blood that was still in her body had stopped flowing a long time ago. Most of it had evaporated from her body. The head's eyes didn't change color at all, they already looked dead and blinded to the world. There was no breathing to stop, none for years. She was already dead in the first place, decapitating her didn't work.

Evals remained still, this was quite easy. She wasn't going to move and she didn't have to breath so it would look like he had killed her. She was created as a necro energy zombie, not an infection one. While an infection zombie was still alive it was counted as a zombie, she was well aware of her condition and knew how to use it to her advantage. Fahade would hopefully leave her be and she could be on her way. Now she had a goal, nothing important but she felt like going up and seeing the rest of the world again. She wasn't very welcome if noticed but she hid it.

Fehade - October 28, 2008 02:48 AM (GMT)
Fehade grinned as his katana slid easily through the undeads neck. He was pretty positive it would kill her, but he was hoping it would keep her down for a while. Though, seeing no blood run free made him a bit disappointed actually, but it was all to be expected of an undead, even if he's never really had to deal with one before. At least it kept his blade pretty much clean. He watched the head roll to the ground, then at the slumped unmoving body. He waved his hand to the fire wall, and it died out immediately. He walked to the head, and kicked it, so it was farther away.

Then he turned away, sheathing his weapon. He could burn her, but she was to interesting to kill really. It would have been nicer if she feared him more though, and if he could leave a physical mark on her better. Fire left terrific scars, but with undead it would torch them and burn them to a crisp, so he would just have to settle with slicing her head off.

He started to walk away, hoping she would be out for a while.

Kemi - October 28, 2008 10:19 PM (GMT)
Evals stayed still as her head was kicked. If she did anything to come back at him he would surely cut her to pieces. She wanted to kill him, all she had was this small spell and that latern. She couldn't do anything about it now. She would have to get him back later. Not today, not next month. But in a while, a while she was willing to wait if it meant ridding this Devil off of the planet. When he was fully gone she sat up. The body moving quickly to grab it's head. Holding it under her arm she went in the other direction. She knew who she could contact to get her head reattached.

An old necromancer lived down here somewhere, they knew each other well enough for her to ask him this favor. He was all the way back in the city. It would take her a while to get there, a day maybe. She could wait that long without a head. She had walked further and gone longer without a leg before. "I'll kill that bastard..." she muttered to herself anger with him. This was the beginning of something very long and stressful for sure. She grabbed her latern and would have to get a new one or this one fixed before going out again.
