Thorn walked through the crouded streets. Her coven had only bearly moved to this new realm filled with creatures of all kind. Now they were to explore. See where it was taht magic was the most potent, where they could find herbs to mix their brews and wood to furnish magical objects. this realm would be good to them they had concluded, it was of magic and alignment was not a tattoo branded on your forehead; labeling you as a friend or foe before even a word escapes your lips.
Thorn was a good witch, but that didnt mean seh wore pink frilly dreses and traveled in a bubble. She had met one of those and found her rather boring and dull. However she was not an evil witch with green skin either. She had also met one of those and decided they are far to rude a species. Thorns long fingers never touched black magic, but she knew almost every spell or potion in the book. her coven consisted of five highly powerful witches, each with their own speical elemental abilities, earth, wind, fire, water and energy. Thorns was energy, therefore the most lethal but the most dangerous. They all had names given to each other by their fellow sisters, Thorns real name wasnt really thorn, but she liked it better so used it more often. However in this new realm it was if their powers were deactivated, so they would need to re-learn, but with this they were sure would coem more knowladege. However they did not loose their knowladge about herbs or potion making.

As she walked down the street her purple velvet cloaked dragged on the ditry cobble stones. She wore an extravagent dress of purple and sheer black, fancy ribbon and off the shoulder sleeves. People hardly noticed as seh walked by, but others did, trying to peek under the hood tosee what kind of face lie within. Behind the hood was a young woman of only 18, her eyes a pericing green, hair long and deep brown halfway down her black, her nose upturned her lips soft and curved a natural light pink.

Behind her she thought she could hear the sound of an animal panting, a hungry animal. She turned. nothing was there. So with a shrug she dismissed the noise. Again, there it was. Nothing. She dismissed it. Finally it got to the point where she was sent into chase, she ran down the street in the dark with her heart pounding and breathing irregular.

Finnally she came face to face with...a person. A regular person, she looked at the stranger and let out a breath. Though they could maybe not see her through her hood, seh could deffinitly see them.

As Sanvaer jumped across the roof tops, he was reminded why he liked the City of Lanterns. No one looked twice if you sank a dagger into a person's back, which made his word all the easier. He was ordered to hunt down a woman, a witch, and a nasty, foul one at that. He looked down, seeing a young woman, wearing dark purple clothing. "Perhaps, " said Sanvaer, gripping his dagger, "Perhaps, this is the quarry I am searching for." He paced along the wall, listening, with a silent dread to a heavy animal breathing. It sounded like something quite large, a werewolf perhaps. Or a goblin. The thought of a goblin tracking his quarry made him walk faster. He hated goblins. Not only are they ruthless, and near fearless, they're messy, horrible assassins. A fully grown goblin would easily kill the girl, if she didn't have some good spells.

He walked above her, until she suddenly started to run. Sanvaer easily kept up with her, despite the fact that it might make her notice him. She stopped, after going down several alleys, and Sanvaer skidded to a stop, rattling, to his pain, several shingles. He saw a man, a rather average looking man, wearing light gray tunic and breeches, and his hair rather short. Sanvaer slowly stepped down to the street level, so as not to make a sound. He didn't like this, not one bit. That man looked strangely like a attempted victim of a colleage of his, who was to be killed for being a shameless voyeur. He took out his dagger, grasping it tightly in his hand.

Thorn stopped infront of a man wearing grey tunic he stared at her and tipped his hat, her breathingwas not normal. She looked at him like he was a ghost. She tried to seem ok, she was a witch after all. Thorn twirled the little bottle of fairy dust she had on the chain around her neck. She stood tall and looked at him through narrowed eye.
"I apologize, I did not mean to run into you." She said with a curtsie that was bearly there.
The man just shruged. "Its ok ma'am I'm just out on a night stroll."
For some reason Thorn began to become uneasy. "Uh thats nice, please I'm in a hurry I must leave." She said trying to side pass him. He met her steps.
"Where to?" He asked rather anyingly.
"Nowhere!" With that she tried to push out of the way, she was able to get past him and quickend her step eventually making her way around.

Even after she was safe seh didnt feel alone, like some one with cunning eyes was watching her closley.
