Polsolve was sitting at the counter just taking the night off with his best freind... beer. Polsolve saw this human walked in the tavern she came over too the counter and sat next too Polsolve.
"An ale please" she said with her lovely voice. The women was about too pay then Polsolve took a sip of his beer and put it on the counter and turned too the lady "Its on me" he payed the bartender and smiled at the women and she smiled back.
Right after that six drow bandits barged in and stabbed two people that were heading out" Every one stay where you are". One of the Drow walked over too the bartender the Drow held up his hand and it caught on fire"Hand over all your gold""THAT GOS FOR EVERY ONE!!!".The bartender quickly handed over the gold and so did lots of people.
The drow walked over too Polsolve the drow said too Polsolve"Give me your money"Polsolve responded"No". The drow started talking again"You think your tough huh". The drow took his hand that was in flames and punched Polsolve across the face.
"You didn't want too do that". Polsolve grabbed the drows face it was like holding a baseball. Polsolve through the drow against the wall the wall almost broke.

Things were never quiet, Melmoth reflected, while he leaned back in his chair and watched as several drow marched in. How exactly drow bandits had made it quietly into an elven village, and how they expected to escape in one piece, were of little concern to him compared to the fight that was breaking out. Some strange lizard-man had the audacity to actually refuse an order from a drow.
"Quite a loon." He whispered to those close enough to hear him. He followed the exchange between the drow and the freak closely, but failed to hear anything. "Taking on a drow like that is-" Suddenly the drow was up and flying through the air, then flat on the ground in front of a new drow-sized dent in the wall.
Or maybe not.
The drow nearing Melmoth's corner of the tavern turned at the sound of its fellow outlaw impacting the wall and yelled. It drew a long curved dagger from its belt, and weaved its way through the maze of tables towards the lizard-man. He reached halfway to Fate, but drew his hand back as an idea formed in his mind.
I'll see how he handles it. Drow are usually a challenge, but these ones are obviously not the smartest of their kind. Perhaps he'll take down a few before the guard rushes in and slaughters the drow.
What he'd do after the battle was still undecided, but it would come eventually.
Eliel - October 2, 2008 04:17 AM (GMT)
Eliel yawned as he walked through the village, dressed rather casually. He did not wear his usual armor; however his gauntlet and cloak remained. By no means was he an easy match even then. The drow blade master wore several weapons hidden away, two daggers, Luriel, and his wand. His scimitar was left at home, hidden away. Nemael was with his sitter, a girl he’d found in the village. She couldn’t be around often, but when she was, Gwen watched her like a hawk.
Eliel walked into the tavern calmly, simply looking to relax and order a drink. He thought about sitting at one of the chairs, feet up on the table, a mug of golden ale in hand—
His thought process was shattered to pieces as a drow was thrown into the wall nearby. Instantly, his hand went to Luriel, looking for the source. Five drow mercs were standing in various places, a familiar-looking Dragonling in their midst. He looked around quickly, spotting a man who had made a move for something, a sword, perhaps?
Eliel watched as one of the angered drow rushed polsolve, dagger in hand. Eliel cursed. Brigands? Here? His thoughts scattered, thinking about his recent misadventure in the underdark, his home not far away, and little Nemael. At the last thought his mind cleared. His hand flexed as he watched one of the drow face him. At first, he looked at Eliel as if he were another bandit. Then, he spotted the gauntlet, the scar on his throat, and his scarred palm, all obviously recently updated as of his trip. He cursed. His bounty was high for anyone who could capture him. It was preferred he was alive, but the pay was only slightly reduced if he were dead. Eliel drew Luriel as the bandit snarled, drawing a scimitar.
The bandit rushed him, taking a surprisingly quick slash at his midsection. Raising his left hand, the scimitar careened off the gauntlet. Eliel was surprised; he hadn’t actually fought drow in some time. With a deep breath, he set his left hand a little ways in front of himself, turned his body to the side to make for a smaller target, and charged the drow head-on.
Eliel’s angelic blade parried the scimitar with a dizzying flash, blocking, shoving the blade to he side, and lowering himself, spinning around to hamstring the off-balance drow. The move was completed swiftly, accurately, and cleanly. His blade sliced through easily, Holy power angered by the drow’s evil nature. The man would die now, the wound would not stop bleeding. As they all wielded weapons of various kinds, he assumed they were either common soldiers, or students of melee-magthere. Meaning none were mages.

Polsolve saw another drow come in Polsolve was gonna throw the drow in front of him into that one but Polsolve recognized this drow. Polsolve couldn't think any more a drow was coming straight at Polsolve. Polsolve quickly pulled out his axe and sheild. the drow took a swing at Polsolve Polsolve quickly bent down holding up his sheild. when the drow's sword hit Polsolve's sheild Polsolve swung his axe at the drow's legs. Polsolve cut the drow's leg making it fall too the ground.
Polsolve stood up and chopped down at the drow, the blow hit the drow's stomach. Blood splattered every where. After Polsolve wiped the blood off his face he looked around seeing how many drow where left. The drow eliel was fighting one and he saw another person drawing his sword. Polsolve picked up his beer and took a big sip and rushed into battle.

(ooc - :/ I don't understand how a "Chaotic Evil / Chaotic Good" character can use an Angelic Blade, since it states "only the good may hold this weapon." Enlighten me, plz)
He laughed a quiet laugh at the brawl, and drained his drink quickly. It was some weak elvish brew, and he hadn't bothered to inquire about the name. These days, if it wasn't Istian, it was barely a step above water in quality. Istian brew, Firewater in particular, was fit for gods, demons, and whoever else had the money to cover the immense price tag. The innkeeper here, apparently did not have the money. Pity.
After the others were through tearing the place up, Melmoth doubted the inn would be stocking anything good for a fair amount of time. In fact, that was motivation enough for him to join the fight.
He set down his mug, lowered all four legs of his chair to the floor, and rose unhurriedly. There were still a few drow left in the room, and one even fighting the others. He marked that one to avoid for the moment, and headed for a currently unengaged drow's back.
Instead of drawing Fate, he drew a long glass dagger from his hip. The blade was wide, thick in the middle, but thinning to razor sharpness at the edges. It made a delightfully thin cut as it sliced into unprotected drow neck.
Eliel - October 3, 2008 10:12 PM (GMT)
Eliel looked around warily, the drow band had seemed to grow rather angered than intimidated. Drow were not a people to drop their weapons and run with their tail between their legs. Such was with Eliel. Luriel sat in his hand perfectly, amazingly balanced, feeling much a part of himself as his hand or shoulder.
Quickly deflecting a swift blade, he knocked it to the side, watching. His previous thoughts had been wrong, there was a spell caster. Strange, this. Drow wizards had a tendency to have unexpected effects on the surface with their spells.
The drow threw a lightning bolt, Eliel guessed, at him. Seeing the lightning beginning to form at his fingertips, Eliel had raised his gauntleted left hand. The lightning bolt connected with it solidly, but as it came within an inch or two of the metal, the spell dissipated.
Eliel cursed as the mage fell into casting once more. Having no time to charge the mage or cast his own, Eliel drew his wand, the slim stick of black marble smooth in his fingers. With a single word, a black bolt shot forth in a flash, striking the mage in the chest. He fell back only a little with force, but the spell’s main effect was more deadly. His eyes clouded and he crumpled, lifeless. The enervation had done its work.
Eliel held Luriel in his scarred palm, cool wire wrapped hilt feeling strange, but wonderful, against his palm, which held faint scars that fitted perfectly over Luriel’s handle, a reminder of his first attempt at wielding it for evil, which was also his first attempt at using it correctly.

There was only one more drow left it knew it was doomed. The drow looked at a window that was about two yards away from him. The drow started running too the window"No you don't" Polsolve whispered. Polsolve through his shield at the drow it hit the back of the it's head. The drow got knocked unconscious and it's head smashed against the window.
Polsolve walked over too Eliel"I believe we have met". Polsolve walked over too the human"Hello human my name is Polsolve and I thank you for the help"."Kinda sad how pathetic these drow were.
Melmoth - October 11, 2008 06:59 PM (GMT)
Melmoth looked at the thing in front of him and frowned slightly. The drow had been beaten quickly, but he suspected there were reasons for their idiotic attack and horrible failure. Perhaps someone was using them? They were meant to fail? They had snuck into a village of elves, badly outnumbered and expected to get away?
"Perhaps."
He turned from the lizard man to the last living drow raider. He moved to it, and crouched beside it after kicking it's fallen weapons away. It's head was bleeding heavily, but still it drew breath. After the hit it took, a flying shield in the head, his time was short. Save it or kill it.
"And this one? What do we do with this thing?"
He looked at the other drow, and back to the lizard man. What would they do with a fallen enemy? Would they kill it, or save it's hide? He almost laughed at the thought. In battle, killing was so easy, but a harmless enemy was a different thing. Fate did not think so. It sat in its scabbard and projected almost physical waves of hunger at Melmoth, in it's own way pleading to be fed. Another time. More important things could be done with the fallen drow than feed the unsatisfiable Fate.
Eliel - October 11, 2008 07:33 PM (GMT)
Eliel nodded at Polsolve. “Aye, we have.” He looked towards Melmoth, nodding his acknowledgement. Looking down at the injured drow, he frowned. He needed to know why the man was here. Were the drow after him once again? Eliel snarled, thinking of Nemael.
“We let him live.” Eliel said with a grimace. Reaching down, he seized the man’s leather armor with his gauntlet, pulling him up and slamming him against a table. Eliel drew a dagger, pushing the tip against the drow’s jaw. He spoke in elven, with a cruel tone.
“Why are you here?” He demanded, anger evident in his voice. He waited for an answer from the heavily bleeding drow. The drow looked at him soberly, unable to speak. Eliel growled his disappointment, tossing him to the ground.
“Do what you like with him.” Eliel said, frowning at it with disgust. He sheathed his dagger and looked at the other two. Eliel walked from the drow, when he heard a slow, drowsy voice try to say something, but Eliel heard it clear enough.
“Usreanac?” The drow said, squinting at Eliel. He turned and drew Luriel angrily.
polsolve - October 13, 2008 04:38 PM (GMT)
Polsolve notice Eliel drawing his weapon after the dying drow whispered something"what is it?"Polsolve asked. At that time he also noticed a burning building outside. Polsolve rushed too the door too check what was going on. Those six drow were just distractions outside there were many many drow raiding the village. the drow must have had it with the elves.
"We have a problem out here" Polsolve told Eliel and the stranger. Polsolve really didn't have a choice he couldn't just leave so he decided too attack even if he doesn't get payed. Polsolve climbed down the tree house bar.
Polsolve charged one of the drow and sliced his ax at it Polsolve got the drow's neck he didn't chop his head off but its still one drow down. Polsolve saw a drow charging him he took his ax out of the drow and through it at the charging one the ax hit its head making it fall back.
Polsolve ran too retrieve his ax but yet another drow Polsolve just punched it across the face and it fell down he got too the drow with his ax in it he took it out and charged into battle...again.
