Rain was falling heavily from the dark sky above the city, few people was moving around in this late hour and the few who was out moved quickly in search for shelter from the forces of nature. Erin slowly walked up one of the many streets, she was completely ignoring the heavy downpour. The young storm kindler was holding a piece of paper in her left hand and she looked at it a little now and then.
She had been here all day in search for her uncle, she knew this was the last place he had been seen in. Or that was the information she got from her mothers letters, she had never seen this uncle in her life and only knew his name. But he was the only family she had in life as it was now. Her mother was dead and her father gone since a year. The young lady sighed deeply and moved her free hand though her hair to remove some of the water, not that it would help much since she would get wheat again anyway. She placed the paper inside of a pocket and then she looked around, but she did not see anyone to ask for direction, she did not really like this place and she could never in her life understand why her uncle would live in this dark city?
Erin stopped and sighe deeply, she shook her head. "It is useless, I will never find him....if he even is alive, the last letter are from ten years ago and mom was not on very good terms with him then." she moved the cloak closer to herself as she was walking.
