The alley was dark, a shadow hanging over it as a figure leaned against the wall waiting in complete silence. A pure black cloak was wrapped tightly around his shoulders to protect himself from the breezy chill of night that flew through the city. The night was young, but the streets were already empty, the only sounds were that of black cats that ran unnoticed through the alleys and streets, and the laughter that came from the nearby taverns, but all wasn't noticed by the man waiting there.
The the sound of footsteps coming down the street alerted the moon elf of the his employers. Then three humans came to the mouth of the alley, holding a small torch, looking for the figure of the sorcerer, it took them a minute to notice him, and when they did they walked closer,m one staying at the mouth to keep watch. Arori narrowed his eyes as he looked at the torch in the hands of the man standing next to the leader he guessed. He looked at the burly looking man, tilting his head slightly.
"Did you find her?" Arori asked in a quiet voice, his eyes lingering on the fire of the torch, almost worried that it would attract the attention of the guards, but he pushed that worry to the back of his head as he turned his eyes on the leader.
"Yes, but she is constantly moving, we have one of my men following her. At the moment she is making her way to Cascadia." The man answered, and Arori nodded.
"Is Golden with her?" The elf asked.
"No, only when she needs something of him." Once more the elf nodded. He then stood up straight at headed for the mouth of the alley, but the man caught him and pushed the sorcerer against the wall. "Wheres are payment?" The human demanded. Arori narrowed his eyes and looked at the hand on his shoulder, then lifted his own, taking the mans wrist with two fingers and moved it away from him, and step to the side, away from the leader, while brushing his shoulder, as if the humans hand left dirt there.
"You'll get paid once you complete your main mission. But here is some to get the supplies you will need to immobilize her." He said, drawing forth a some coin purse and tossing it to the human, then the elf strode from the alley and out into the open street.
