I entered the forest where the shadow told me to go. There was no landmark that I could find showing a transportation to reality. As I walked closer a circle of Elves jumped out of the sky, with their leader in the middle, all of them pointing an arrow at my heart. "Speak," The leader in the middle, in front of me, said. "Of what, I may ask, cautious Elves?" I told them. "Where are you from?" The leader said with a gruff tone. "A world with much better manners," I replied.
He shot his arrow as I used my speed to go to the left. This time all of them shot the arrows, up I went. It continued like this until they were out of arrows, even Elven Accuracy could not match Kian Speed, and even if they did hit me, I was born with a large amount of Indurance. "Tell me," I said, "With my speed, I could have easily knocked you all out, I did not. Does that make me an enemy?"
Unfortunatley, these Elves seemed to be very Arrogant, and jumped at me. As I tried to get them off, one opened my hood enough so that my left ear was visible. "He is an elf!" and elf cried when he saw my pointed left ear. They got off and I revealed my right, "Not exactly, I am a Kian, the left ear being pointed in one trait."
And so the fight continued, I was begining to hate elves...
I barley stood with my wounds, and same for my opponents. I could destroy them with a Ki Blast, but killing was not something I did unless I had to. As I cught my breath a remembered a maneuver Tal I did with Jeno and that traitor Gorgon.
I jumped into the trees and out of sight, quickly planning the places of landing. I went down and knocked out one, as while spinning, hitting three more as I moved. Now only four to go. I took a bow and gathered a stick, I paced around speedily and shot the stick, hitting one. Three more. Then I threw another stick spinnig, hitting the jaws of two elves. Now only the leader was here. But I had no time to stand, up into the trees I went, and so did he. As we found each other we started a battle the shed oh much blood, I still have scars of the wounds. Finally, I went beserk, much like I was when I escaped from insanity, only worse.
I charged Jing and fired like a madman, everything in sight, as I held the leader to the ground by the neck, charging a Jing Blast at his throat, I came to my senses, and let him free. "And to think that the soil would not be bloodied if only you had better manners," I said. "But you showed mercy, you are not an enemy." "And how long did it take you to figure that out?" I replied.
"My name is Ecarnt Woodsherlf," the Elf said, "What is yours?" "Tal II, no surname," I answered. "I am sorry for my bad manners, but vermin are starting to invade the land more and more, and nobody can be strait." "I know what it is like," I told my new friend. "I was in a War, the Kian War and..." I told him all about what happened from the anger of Herun to my coming to the forest.
"A Landmark, eh? Well, I might be able to help you find it, but first let us heal the wounded, the Elven village is in the top of the trees, come." And so I followed him.
I must say this: Elves are wonderful Archetects. The beauty of the village cannot truly be defined by words, so I shall not describe it. While elves were looking strangley at me, they knew I was a friend if Ecarnt was my friend.
We slowly limped to the hospital carrying the wounded Elves when we got there. "Good Lord!" a nurse said, looking at us, "Come, come, Doctor Laoges will see you, he is an expert on battle wounds." She led us into our room. I nodded as I went in. "Good Lord man!" the Doctor said, "What kind of Vermin would inflict these wounds! Was it a Dwarf?" "No," I said, "We inflicted these wounds upon eachother, it started because a certain elf did not seem to have very good manners," I said as I shifted my eyes to Ecarnt. I looked outside to figure out the time. "Can you heal these wounds in 4 hours?" I asked the Doctor. "No," he told me, "These could take at least five weeks!" "Then I must be going," I replied, starting for the door.
"Are you insane?!" Ecarnt asked as I headed towards the door. "I was," I answered him. I would get to Earth, dead or not.
