Title: (open) Resting at the mountains
Description: With Nravee, after anyone is welcome

Bastian - September 8, 2008 03:29 AM (GMT)
It was really nice to pass over the mountains, the view was splendid, the clouds looking like little balls of snow, the sun beeing the guide to the destination so far. But those things were not what made Bastian a bit more happy about his trip. Neither the fact that he was a powerful dragon. But more thanks to the one on his back.

They had been traveling for hours and they did not rested yet. Not that they had gotten a cold or anything their body heat was assuring them protection from the freezing air of the skies. He started to wonder if Nravee would last till nght fall or they should make a break soon. Not that he minded really, passing a bit more time with her was fine.

Nravee - September 8, 2008 04:48 PM (GMT)
Nravee, after a long while, grew weary of being so high, and felt a bit hungry. She watched the world go by still, as she sat on the red dragons back, behind the neck. She felt the wind whip at her face, her hair, was probably all tangled now for being in the air for a long time. She hunched forward again, as she felt the chill from the mountains come up. She looked at Bastian, then decided asking for a break would be worth a shot.

"Bastian? Do you think we could take a short break?" She called to him, yelling over the loud wind. She looked down again at the mountains again. he had never been in them or really around them, her parents had always told her terrible dangers lurks in the shadows there.

((OOC: Ugg... such a disgrace of a post being so small for me... lol))

Bastian - September 8, 2008 10:49 PM (GMT)
Bastian was elsewhere in his mind for a moment. What did it look like in his homeworld? Was this as fabulous as this? How was his family doing? Had he a family there? Everything would remain unanswered....

Suddenly, Nravee burst his bubble of tougths. He nodded to her and headed down.
"Hold on tight!"The dragon seemed to let himself fall towards the top of the mountains, closing his wings on himself. The speed was incredible, he passed throuigh a cloud and kept falling. In fact, the outworlder was looking for a space wide enough to land.

Nearing the ground, he opened his wings suddenly and his drection parralel to the rocky ground. It took a couple minuites before finding a large enough place, when he slowed down it made a big mist of cold snow back on them, but the heat of the scales protect them from the temperature.

DornKoon - September 9, 2008 04:02 PM (GMT)
But they where not alone in the mountains. Alice was standing not far from them and she had been watching the large dragon as it was flying to find a good place to land. She tilted her head a little to the side when she noticed who it was on the dragon....Bastian? Well what a surprise that was. The sorceress had not seen him in a very long time, but she did not know the young lady with him..so he had found himself a nice girlfriend? How very nice for him.

She smiled slightly and then she slowly began to walk towards them, she moved some hair from her face as she was walking. She waited until the snowcloud was gone before she said anything. "My, Bastian is that you darling" she said with a smile. "I have not seen you since that time at the school of magic, after I saved your behind from the ruins" she grinned slightly as she said this.
Her gaze moved to Nravee and gave her a slight smile, she could soon see that this lady was a people of the fire, it was visible with her eyes and the way she looked in general.

Even if anyone tried to sense her sides they would get nothing. She made sure to hide that she was evil. "and I see you have found a girl to, my you sure have been a busy boy have you not Bastian?" she looked back at him and giggled slightly, she moved some of her hair in behind her ears.

Nravee - September 9, 2008 04:30 PM (GMT)
She didn't need to be told. She gripped onto the dragons spine again almost for dear life. She closed her eyes against the wind, and focused on not falling off. It was a fearful landing, but when they were safely on ground, she opened her eyes, and slowly released the spine. She then slid down from the dragons back, and would have landed gracefully if she hadn't been clumsy, so she fell to her hands and knees, but quickly picked herself up, and dusted the dirt and such off her legs then.

Suddenly, she heard a voice, she looked up to see the odd woman, and grew suddenly uneasy somewhat, and the woman knew Bastian, she looked at the dragon Bastian, then back at the girl. She didn't quite like the woman, but she had no reason as to why.

She folded her arms slightly from the chill of the mountains.

"and I see you have found a girl to, my you sure have been a busy boy have you not Bastian?"

Nravee frowned slightly, at that. She would have said something, but refused to. The woman wasn't speaking to her, so she had no reason to talk, even though, she didn't like what the woman said. She stuck to her thoughts, wondering how Bastian knows this woman.

Bastian - September 9, 2008 06:31 PM (GMT)
((OoC-Dorn, Bast IS the dragon, he is not riding it.))

Bastian shook his head when Nravee fell but his attention was attrated by someone else. His eyes widened at the sight of the elf. There was so many questions popping in his head, but first thing first. He unransofrmed in his human appearance. He looked at the fire genisis to see if she was okay and then headed over to Alice.

He crossed his arms and somewhat glared at her. The elf was more attractive looking the never, as she has done a metamorphosis spell to perfect her appearance.
"It's been a while Alice but....What the hell are you doing around here?"

She has been the one to ever help him out in this land, she was called cousin, but that was a lie set up by her master. The one who had summoned him from his original homeland. He lost her in the crowd of Balefire and after that it's been months since they have'nt met eachother.

At the Magic Academy. A dwarf warrior named Haddod, a half-demon named Mogrim had plane to take some powers to perhaps dominate the world, but at that time, the pryomancer was blind with revenge over this world. They had been in the ruins of some city attacked by a hord of undead and liches, summoned by a necromancer.

They had barely survived the encounter. So he ended up recovering at the magical Academy, at this moment he fell the scar burning him a bit. A painful rememerance for his foolishness. He placed his hand over his shoulder and stared a bit away as if he remembered all this day. The outworlder shook his head and looked at the misterious elf, waiting for an answer.

DornKoon - September 10, 2008 03:45 PM (GMT)
Alice looked at Bastian as he walked over to her. She watched him for a moment before she replied to his question. He did not look that bad really.....maybe something she could use later, but that was not why she was here anyway.
She smiled a friendly smile. "Well what I am doing around this place is very simple really" she began with a calm voice and brusghed some dust from her dress. "I was visiting a friend in the dwarf city and is on my way though the mountains. You might find it surprising to find me on foot but I have my reason for doing like I am." this was not entierly true, but yet true in a way. She had been in the dwarf city...and she had been sleeping with a human she found there...he could be a friend...but then one would not kill there friends. But of course she would not say anything about that.

She made a pause to think for a moment and then she looked at Nravee again as if she had seen her for the first time. "But please Bastian, I think intreductions would be good at this point, who is your genasi friend here" she smiled at the young fire genasi as she said this and then she looked at Bastian again with curios eyes. Nravee did not look like she was going to be much of a threat if something would happen. Not that it would but one could never be to careful these days.

Nia - September 12, 2008 01:32 AM (GMT)
((OOC: sorry for typos, I have no spell chack at the moment!))

Nia had been asleep in an icy cave further up the slope. She woke to the sound of muffled voices, but most definitly voices. She sat up and looked around only to find the place still as empty as before. She sighed slightly to herself in the frozen cave and she was cold enough herself to not have any visable breath. After a moment's pause, she rose to her feet and walked over to the entrance pausing in the snow at least a stone's throw from the group she simply looked at them for a moment. Three people. She didn't recognise any of them and she was still a bit too far away to hear them.

She held onto her solid form, her body of blue ice, as she strained her ears to hear them. Nia still had not bothered with finding better clothing and was dressed in only enough scraps of thin white leather to be 'covered'. Darn the taboo! Cothing ws so hot and uncomfortable and she simply didn't understand how people could wear so much of it. The wind didn't seem to be on her side though. She couldn't hear them. She had the option of venturing closer perhaps. Either that or she could go elsewhere. She wasn't about to walk up on compleat strangers though. Not a group.

But what if they knew something that could help her? Was it worth interupting them for such a selfish reason? She wasn't sure. Nia took a few steps forward. So what could she do now?

Calance - September 13, 2008 07:07 PM (GMT)
((OOC: I hope it's okay that I bump into this topic aswell, if isn't please tell me.))

Calance was lost in the mountains from a previous jorney. She was on her way from the dwarven city where she had been asking around for a decent magician to teach her more about wind and air magic.
Sadly enough, noone with that knowledge was there. Now when she thought about it she came to think it was kindof stupid to go there when you wished to learn more about the wind.... Dwarves is after all a more... earthly kind of people.

Now when she was on her way home, she was lost. The endless white desert ontop of the mountains seemed like they would never end.
Why did she have to be so stubborn? Calance remembered how she planned the journey and rather took the long path over the mountain than go below it inside the dark dwarven tunnels.

The air was fresh and it shouldn't be too cold... Hopefully. As long the sun was shining, she was warm enough to not freeze too much... Tough, the thought of the cold night was worrying since she didn't have enough equipment for sleeping in the snow without freeze to death.

As Calance was walking over the frozen desert she later spotted something further ahead. It was hard to see what it was since the sun was reflecting itself very well on the bright snow. She tried to pick up some pase to go there faster, but the snow was hindering her movement greatly.

Once she made it to the location where she had seen the individuals she made herself heard so they wouldn't be scared or belive she was a snow-monster or something.

"Excuse me? Hello!" Calance shouted a few yards away. Once she got closer she started a conversation, probably interupted something else.
"Hi, I'm sorry if I interupt something, but I am so happy that I spotted someone up here at this seemingly endless snowy desert!" Calance said with a happy and appriciating voice. "I am kindof lost up here, since I got some vauge directions from a dwarf to the closest town on the opposit side of the mountains. But the snow had covered all the signs..." Calance explained her situation quickly.

Calance seemed to be a normal built woman. Her skin is almost camoflauging in the snow, since it's very pale. Her face is kindof doll-like with rosy cheeks due the cold weather. Her blue eyes is shining with happiness at this moment, her mood could easily be seen in her eyes, they are nearly like mirrors of her thoughts.
Her somewhat curly hair was waving gently as the wind was playing with it. It didn't have any special hairstyle since Calance loved to feel how her blonde hair was blowing in the wind.
Calance wore a pair of blue wizard robes with a white woolen cloak as her only protection of the cold. The only equipments wich was visible on her was her spellbook and a wand wich was hanging at her hips.

Bastian - September 13, 2008 11:36 PM (GMT)
Bastian crossed his arms and raised an eyebrow. This elven lady had gained in power, so why was she on foot? This was way too suspicious for his own good but he did not really wanted to argue with her, getting on her nerves, proof is, the state the warlock was in. Dead and turned to ashes. This one should not have done this portal...He played...With fire.

"Oh!He turned around and and made a sign to Nravee to come over. It was weird, this world was to small, he fell on someone he knew in the middle of nowhere and then had to make hee presentations? Strange indeed."Alice, this is my apprentice Nravee. Nravee, this is an old friend of mine, Alice."He crossed his arms once more to see the reaction but he felt observed. He raised his head and was not too sure if there was someone, the skin was as pale as the snow and with the sun it was quite blindening.

Suddenly a voice, coming from another direction called to the group.
This place is getting crowded...AND WE ARE IN THE MIDDLE OF NOWHERE!Once the stranger came up close, the outworlder started to feel even weirder. Three beautiful woman and he was the only man? Was that all a dream or a nightmare? He could not think about that right now anyway."Hey there!"

He waved at her, the wind slightly raised a bit. He shivered now that he was no more in his dragon form. He kept his arm crossed for not getting too cold."I'm sorry i'm not of any help for that, i'm new to this land so..."The pyromancer towards the elven Lady."Alice, don't you come from there? Perhaps you could help?"

Nravee - September 14, 2008 12:43 AM (GMT)
Nravee looked nervously at Alice a moment, before walkig to Bastian's side as he introduced them. The fire genasi was slightly surprised when the lady knew what she was, but Nra supposed it was pretty obvious, with her color of hair and eyes. She supposed everyone could easily tell. She took her backpack off, and set it on the ground, then crouched down, and rummaged through it, until she found a long sleeved shirt, then slipped it on over her dress. She then stood up, and looked at Alice, and mumbled a "pleasure to meet you". But after that, she was quiet again. She didn't trust this lady.

"Excuse me? Hello!"

Nravee turned quickly to face the older woman, well, she didn't look older, she looked almost Nravee's age. The middle of nowhere, and people seemed to find themselves towards their group. Nravee lifted her hand and waved slight to the woman Calance. The lady said she was lost, which wasn't surprising to the genasi.

She then glanced at Alice when Bastian asked if the other woman could help. But then, she looked at something that seemed a bit far off. The thing looked humanoid, but ice blue. Nravee stared at it, and as moved forward. She cocked her head to the side, curious.

DornKoon - September 15, 2008 01:33 PM (GMT)
Alice listened to Bastian as he was talking and she nodded slightly. "I see, well how nice for you then." she said, she smiled slightly at Nravee. "Yes a pleasure, so your into fire magic to? Well no surprise I guess, would have been more surprising if you had been one of the water people." she laughed slightly and shooked her head.

The sorceress turned around when she heard the voice and noticed Calance, she raised an eyebrow slightly. That one looked very lost, and when she began to talk it appeared that Alice was right to, this lady was lost. Alice tilted her head slightly to the left as she was looking at her, then she looked at Bastian when he talked to her again. "Well that should not be a problem at all" she said with a smile and looked at the confused stranger again. "Well there is a town not far from here inside of the mountains, you have to get into it though a cave. There is a small path down from where we are now" when she said this she pointed to the south from where she had come. "One will come to a wide road down there and then it is just to follow it to the right and you will arrive to the city in around 30 minutes or so."

Calance - September 15, 2008 07:07 PM (GMT)
Calance made her way closer to the group so they could talk normally. She listened patiently on Alice as she described about an underground city wich Calance wasn't aiming for.
"That sounds about the same as the description I got from a dwarf before I took the way ontop of the mountain..." Calance mentioned with somewhat sarcasm. "I am rather looking for a town... outside... the mountain. It is kind of the reason why I avoid the tunnels of the mountain." Calance explained herself. Perhaps she had been too bad at her description as she asked for directions, or this girl was just not listening good enough.

Then she turned to Bastian for a moment, "Oh, I am very sorry that I was bothering you in some manners." Calance replied to Bastian for his 'in the middle of nowhere'-statement, with a kind voice and bowed her head slightly to show her respect and also used it as a excuse for her behaviour of just barging in.

"May I ask again if anyone of you could point to a direction of an out-door town or village? Wich is somewhat close... preferably."

Calance let her eyes swiftly sweep over everyone in the group and couldn't help but wonder why this odd group was in the mountains?
Perhaps she would have made it better alone. Who knows? But they are here so she might aswell manage to get some information of them. Calance was confident enough to make it herself down the mountain by herself, she wasn't afraid of the cold or the lack of food that she was carrying with her.

DornKoon - September 16, 2008 09:03 AM (GMT)
Alice sighed deeply. "Then you should have made yourself a little more clear darling" she said calmly and shook her head. "No need to be rude when people try and help you, sarcasme will not make things better" she moved some hair from her face and then she frowned slightly. "Oh, to go to a city outside of the mountains will take a while since we are pretty much in the middle of them, but I think you should come to a small village right outside of the mountains area if you follow the road I told you about, but take left and not right. No idea how long it will take you to walk but about three to four hours I guess. Faster if you can fly." she smiled when she said this, but it was nothing mean about it, not in her face nor in her voice. She just sounded like she wanted to help, but that she was a little offended by the womans rude behavior.

Alice outside was good to hide what she was really thinking, she was irritated with this arrogant woman, if she wanted to know a place outside of the mountains, then she should have asked for it!! She was happy that she could keep herself calm even at this time. The sorceress calmly examined her own hand for a moment and then she took a deep breath. She did not say anything when the woman began to talk to Bastian again, but she was thinking. "Yes excuse yourself to the man who did not help you instead of tell me your sorry." this was not much Alice could do anything about, her demonic side was very emotional with these things and she would have to live with it.

Bastian - September 17, 2008 05:50 PM (GMT)
Bastian listened to the the two woman talk. A Town near? Outside the mountains? He kept his arms crossed and was thinking a bit on how to help a bit, he hated so much feeling useless too...He grinned when the the only woman he did not know right now was asking for forgiveness.

"Don't worry 'bout it, it's not like you did it on purpose either."The outworlder started like he was opening himself a bit to people in general, which was strange. Maybe it was the fact that people needed help that was softening him a bit. Or was it something else too? Was it the fact that he could not resist to woman in generals? He shook his head preferred not to think about it.

"Flying eh? That can be settled..."The pyromancer turned to his apprentice."What do you think? Can we help out? Do you feel rested enough to go again?"He would understand if she was refusing, after all they had spent a long time in the sky. Or she could refuse for another reason Jealous? He knew about the fiery behavior of the fire genisis in general. But the though was actually funny.

Nravee - September 23, 2008 03:42 AM (GMT)
"Yes a pleasure, so your into fire magic to? Well no surprise I guess, would have been more surprising if you had been one of the water people."

Nravee laughed lightly at what Alice said there, and smiled. The genasi then listened to the others talk, and to Calance who didn't seemed to like the villages inside, and Nrave couldn't see why not, but she didn't question it, some people just didn't like confined places like the underground towns. She turned her head to look Bastian when he asked he if she wouldn't mind helping them out. Nravee smiled and nodded.

"I would love to help as best I can, and I think we should, and yes, I feel good enough to go, I just needed to stretch my legs a bit. She said. She looked at Calance again, then Alice. Nravee did feel a bit jealous, Alice was completely beautiful, and so was Calance, but she pushed the little ting of jealous to the very back of her mind. It was nothing, and sides, Bastian was her teacher, what happened last night was just... well, she had just accidently fallen asleep then, if she wanted it to mean something, she tried not to think of it.

She played with the edge of the long sleeved shirt she wore that was slightly frayed, and would make note to remind herself to get another. She looked up at the others, then to Bastian, expecting him to change soon.

Calance - September 28, 2008 09:15 AM (GMT)
Calance looked at Nravee. She seemed to be a shy person since she have been silent during the time Calance was here, but she seemed to be a decent person. However, Calance didn't linger her eyes on Nravee for too long since she returned her gaze upon Bastian and gave him a shining smile."It's so kind of you to offer yourself like this." Calance said and bowed in appriciation. When she raised her head again, they could see that she was blushing slightly since she was very honored.

"I have been very rude, I haven't even introduced myself!" Calance suddenly bursted out and looked shocked of herself.
"My name is Calance, and I am a Wizard wich is trying to find a new teacher to train myself in the art of Air magic even further." Calance introduced herself to Bastian and Nravee, but she seemed to ignore Alice by not facing her at all while talking."That is also why I prefer to be outside, instead of deep inside a mountain." Calance then added, and gave Alice a cold gaze for a second while returning to Bastian and Nravee.
She took the liberty to go closer to the group so she was standing next to them, instead of being distant from the group. Calance seemed to be very happy to gain some help from them, besides she have never been flying before and she couldn't help but wonder how they would be able to fly... They had no mount of some sort.

"...Sorry for asking, but how did you plan on flying?" Calance asked with a bit insecure voice. Since she had no clue that one could transform so much, that you could not be recognizable.
