Title: Wandering the streets
Tsukihime Moonhaze - September 4, 2008 03:45 AM (GMT)
Tsukihime was walking slowly within the streets of Kellen, unaware of her surroundings at first. She had just woke up, in the middle of a dirty alley, rats scurrying about, her eyes, unable to see. No matter how hard she tried, she could not remember anything. These simple things, instilled the sense of fear in her mind. Who was she? where was she? why was she here? these answers remained blank. Like a drone, she walked along the streets, bumping into people, who yelled at her, slowly, she could start to listen to her surroundings, it was a moment before she could use it well, but with her ears she realised she could start to Hear her surroundings instead of seeing them. Trying to find her thoughs, she hid behind a small crate, near an alley, hidden from most...
Fehade - September 4, 2008 04:02 AM (GMT)
Fehade had been out in the Debon Plains all day, practicing with his two katanas, and slaughtered an unfortunate farmer who happened to walk by. It won't be long before someone found that body, maybe a day or two, but not three. He strode towards the town, his mood light, and not as angry as he normally is. He was going to get his revenge soon, and it was certainly a thing to be happy about.
Today, he held a different appearance. He was still tall, and had long black hair, buthis skin wasn't as pale, and he didn't have his red eyes, he made it so that they were a dark blue. Other then that he looked almost the same, except he didn't have the horns on his head. He wore his dark clothing, which was all black, but he didn't wear his chain mail. Behind him as he walked, just a step behind him was Evier, his nightmare horse, but it was in human form, as young woman, with long black hair, and she wore a long black dress, her movements amazingly graceful.
He reached the edge of the village, and to take a "shortcut", he went down a alley, not even taking notice of a young girl there. He just continued on out into the street, the tavern close by.
Tsukihime Moonhaze - September 4, 2008 04:08 AM (GMT)
The little girl heard the man and the woman grow near her, so she grabed her knees and hid there as well as he could, slowly they had passed her, without any moves or anything to her intent. Somehow, these two felt diferent than most people in this town, they seemed so...unatural, the sounds echoed in her ears, now getting used to hearing enough to compensate her lack of sight. Her fear was mixed with curiosity, and so she slowly walked out of her spot, and crawled behind the man and woman, attempting to sneak like all child sneak, in a clumsy . not very sneaky manner. She was lucky though, her natural agility saved her from falling down since her atention was now on these misterious people instead of on her surroundings, slowly, she crawled after Fehade and Evier..
Fehade - September 4, 2008 06:52 PM (GMT)
They continued on their way. Quickly closing the distance to the tavern, but Evier glanced behind her, and noticed the girl following them, trying to be sneaky as it seemed, but it didn't work well. Evier looked at Fehade's back, and quickened her pace to walk alongside her tiefling master. "The ragged dirt is following us." She whispered to him, and he merely nodded once. Once they reached the tavern, instead of going in, they changed their directions to the mouth of a small alley, and stopped there.
Fehade turned around to look at the girl, and Evier, looking completely disgusted, stood behind Fehade, looking over his shoulder. It just seemed to be a little street urchin to him. If he wasn't in the public, the little girl would already be bleeding on the ground. But she seemed a bit odd. When Fehade looked at her, he noticed she was blind, well, she appeared so, it was hard to tell really. But the clumsiness of her told him enough.
He didn't care for the girl, but he didn't want to be followed through the tavern with the girl on his heels. He sighed, once again hating being in a town. He turned his gaze to looked through the crowds of people, plenty went to the tavern, and others to their homes for dinner. His gaze soon snapped back to the girl. Decided to ignore it, he looked to Evier, waving a hand towards a small general store and handing her a coin purse.
"Go get some supplies so we can leave tomorrow. I'm sick of this place, and Mara will be expecting us soon." He said, and the nightmare walked off.
Yaksha - September 5, 2008 01:20 AM (GMT)
A soft voice issued from behind him, one that was dripping with pride and an almost irresistable sheen. "Fehade, my child! So good to see you again. And how is Hakri on this grand day?" Yaksha was wearing a quite superlfuous outfit today, a large tophat and a suit seemed to be spun of pure gold. He gave a chuckle that seemed almost as smooth as molten honey. "But, enough of that. I notice the Lady Evier is with you tonight." He gave a winning smile at Evier, and pulled his tophat off, bowing gracefully. "A pleasure to see both of you again."
Tsukihime Moonhaze - September 5, 2008 02:58 AM (GMT)
The young girl gasped as she heard a voice behind her, the reaction was that of a child, and blind of course. She seeked refuge. somewhere safe. Darting out of her hideing spot with unsuspected agility from a blind girl, she dashed straight between Eviers legs. Under the surge of stress, her other emotions where suppressed, allowing her to fully use her natural talent at moving even though blinded. She ran to something safe...or atleast something strong and powerfull, something that weilded power and felt reassuring. She did not see, so she reacted by instinct. Without even realising it, she grabed and huged tight the leg of a man that might kill her, or save her, she did not know. Yes the young girl was clinging to fehade!
Fehade - September 5, 2008 03:51 AM (GMT)
Fehade froze when he heard a familiar voice. A thin smile slid unto his hard cruel features, as he turned to look at Yaksha. His eyes merely darkening at the sight of the older half-fiend. "Nice to see you also, Yaksha." He hissed coldly at the man. Then Yaksha noticed Evier. After he bowed to the nightmare, she did a slight curtsy, before leaving to go do the shopping, but had stopped when there was some rustling of a panicked girl, that ran by her, and to Fehade, and clung to his leg.
Fehade was completely taken by surprised of the girl that clung to him. He stared down at her, his eyes wide with surprise. His right hand edging towards his sword. But words from Rraezanon told him not to harm the little one, much to his disappointment. He tried to shake the girl off his leg. Fehade's eyes almost held a helplessness, and annoyance. If he can't kill her, how could he get her away without harming her. Sighing in annoyance, he cursed Rraezanon for having annoying requests.
"Annoying little street urchin, get off!" He snarled.
Tsukihime Moonhaze - September 5, 2008 05:28 AM (GMT)
Slowly, the girls hands let go of Fehades leg. she stumbled about trying to find something else to cling to...and soon found the legs of a woman. Being a young girl with no memories of her mother, her instincts once again blasted out, forcing her to clutch to evier this time.
"s-scared...please, i-i just want..."
then she suddenly realised, she didnt even know what she wanted. Why was she so afraid? what where all these emotions? This man had caused her terrible fear, and she started to feel a new feeling inside...hate. She loathed this man that had caused her fear. Her mind raced as she realised that the cold man with Evier, Fehade, did not seem to like him either. They had a point in common...
Slowly she let go of Evier, as the first signs of her recklessness showed. Slowly, the fear within her grew weaker, as the hate increased. Out of the blue, as she lightly turned her head sideways towards Yakshas general direction, she simply said...
"i loath you...i hate you..."
She felt more relaxed now that her emotions were clear, her ears lightly twitched at every sound, the buzzing of people in the far away streets, a cat running after a bird, the breathing of the 3 beings with her...the clinking of a sword...
Yaksha - September 5, 2008 06:47 PM (GMT)
Yaksha's voice was infnitely understanding and compassionate. "Why, my dear, there's no reason to hate me." He stooped so he was before Tsukihime, a warm chuckle ringing in his voice. "I'm your friend, little girl!" He reached behind his back, and with a flourish, he pulled forth a box of sweets, the smell wafting through the air. "I'll bet you're hungry. They're delicious, trust me." He grabbed one of his own peices of candy, popping into his mouth. "Nothing to be afraid of, little one. I just came to talk to my good friend."
He rose, and nodded dismissively at Fehade. "She is quite the little girl, no?" He pulled off his hat, and threw it over his shoulder. "Anyways, how are you and Hakri doing? I trust things are going well? Nothing new to mention?" His words were still soft and warm, the sort of voice you would hear from some eccentric uncle or grandparent.
Fehade - September 5, 2008 07:27 PM (GMT)
The girl let go of him, but merely found Evier to clutch onto. Fehade grimaced, watching the small frightened girl. Evier had stooped down, looking at the girl, her eyes still cold, but a smile touched her lips slightly, it was kind smile, and Evier then stroked the girls hair, trying to calm the young one. Fehade watched as Yaksha turned his attention to the girl also, and the tiefling felt a bit disgusted, giving the thing attention, he didn't understand why. Others were so confusing.
"Odd how the young one takes a liking to us other then the half-fiend. He may have frightened her, but we should be more terrifying, and yet she clings to our group." Rraezanon whispered in Fehade's head. He watching as the girl slowly let go of Evier and spoke to Yaksha.
"i loath you...i hate you..."
Fehade couldn't help but smile slightly. Hate was a strong word to use, sadly not strong enough to Fehade's liking. He hated Yaksha too, he hated the girl too, and Rraezanon, and all the other peasants that walked the streets of this village. He folded his arms over his chest, as Yaksha finally returned his attention to the tiefling.
"Anyways, how are you and Hakri doing? I trust things are going well? Nothing new to mention?"
Fehade smirked slightly.
"Nothing really new. Hakri wants me to meet him in a week. I plan to get my revenge then." He said, sounding somewhat happy with the idea of revenge.
"Yes, yes, you are excited about your revenge that will soon come, but may we think of what to do with the girl. She seems a little strange, I wonder why she isn't going to her family. Wouldn't it be nice to have slave, tiefling. I'm sick of going with you while we go stealing and killing. If we have one, well then... we'll get a better life in luxury." Rraezanon hissed.
"You must be forgetting that we know nothing of the girl, she may have family, and last thing we need is something to stab us in the back while we sleep." Fehade replied in his head also.
Brahms - September 5, 2008 10:37 PM (GMT)
Feet were heard, coming in the direction of the chatting people, accompagned by some music. He often played when he was bored, and he was bored when he wasn't hunting. He had tailed Fehade from a while now and he wondered how it went with his father. He never told this errand of his.
As he turned the corner his eyes closed and, and his hand dancing on the small harp, he kept walking. Having beeing gifted to smell better and to hear better then most mortal, the lycan headed toward the half demon bumbing into him, making the box of candies falling of his hand.''Hehe, sorry pal. I didn't know you were here.''
The Bard had heard of this half-demon so called sophisticated, and somewhat nice. The thougth almost made him throw up on Yaksha but he held himself. After all, the other guy was older and perhaps more experienced. Maybe not, well no one has to judge a book by his cover.
He looked over to the theifling, the girl and the disguised nightmare. had not been of his smell he would not have recognized the horse and he winked at them.''Seems like a meeting, almost like if it was more then a coincidence. ''There was something sarcastic in his voice. Fehade could easily guess that Brahms had been following him, but Yaksha could not guess that. He never met the half-elf before.
He then stared and observed the little one with the thiefling, and kelt near of her.''Hmm? What a delicious looking girl! Keeping her for lunch Fehade? ''Fehade and Brahns were killing for dufferent reasons. The lycan was for the thrist and as for the demon blooded man, it was hard to know.
Tsukihime Moonhaze - September 7, 2008 06:41 PM (GMT)
The little girl, being very curious, "looked" at brahms with her unseeing eyes. The box of candies went flying beside her, on the ground. As the tall half elf came close to her, she aproached him a little, stepping on the candy.
Her face suddenly burst in a big wide smile as the smell of a canine entered her nose...the smell of Brahms. Instinctively she started patting the man on the head, saying.
"Doggy!"
but her face quickly turned to a puzzled and lightly scared look once more. stepping back, she slowly went back to evier, the women had seemed to give her a little affection and this had touched the girl, since she had no memories of her family, of what she could remember this was the only person to actualy show affection to her...apart from Yaksha.
"i smell a dog...but...i touch a man....why?" her voice was lightly quivery as she wondered why this dog was shaped like a man.
Oh and yes, she is completely ignoring Yaksha.
Yaksha - September 7, 2008 06:54 PM (GMT)
Yaksha chuckled softly. "Ahhh, so good to see the 'doggy' again, wouldn't you think, Fehade?" His attire and voice seemed profoundly sophisticated and gentle, but his eyes were twin pits of malice and bloodlust, and they both peered at Brahms with an intensity that would've sent small animals running. This was a look that said, "Don't piss me off." His words were still gentle, but anyone with a keen ear would've heard a small undertone of coldness. "Brahms, isn't it? I've always been fascinated by werewolves, myself."
He stepped around Brahms, and shook his head sadly. "You don't look all that impressive in human form, little pup. Just remember this." A black energy began to crackle on his left index finger, filling the air with a scent of death and a feeling of oppressive darkness. He pointed at a small child nearby, with a face smeared by chocolate. His next word was filled with a terrible finality, and an almost shocking sadism that clashed with his appearance. "Bang." The energy shot out at the child, who fell onto his back, a smile still plastered on his face.
"I am, despite my appearance, your elder. Hate me if you wish. Plot against me, for all I may care. But you WILL...show me...the proper respect." His finger jabbed towards Brahms with each pause, almost as if he were threatening to shoot him, next. "We are allies, despite any qualms you may have. And we will be expected to get along, someday. I would advise you to make it easier on yourself now. I am no one to have against you."
Fehade - September 7, 2008 07:25 PM (GMT)
''Hehe, sorry pal. I didn't know you were here.''
Fehade stood stock still. Annoyance at everyone flashing through his eyes. He raised a hand, and pressed it against his temples, and calmed his breathing, taking big breathes of hair to keep himself from bursting out in anger. He lowered his hand, and raised his eyes to look at Brahms. There was no kindness in his disguised blue eyes. They were filled with hatred and coldness. Why was he here? The damn wolf and half-fiend that stood not to far away were going to blow his cover. Why doesn't he just shout out to the world what is and tell everyone who he has to kill in they're precious village.
"Hello, Brahms." He managed to hiss in one of his crueler voices, that sounded so identical to his fathers. His eyes flashed to look at the young girl, who took to calling the lycan a "Doggy". Then the girl, confused, went to stand beside Evier again, and the nightmare rested a small hand on the girls shoulder, as if knowing what Rraezanon wanted.
"i smell a dog...but...i touch a man....why?"
"That's because he's a werewolf. A lycan. Part wolf part man." Evier whispered to the young girl.
Fehade stayed silent through the events. He watched with cold eyes, and listened to every word said, while he kept himself from turning this place into ruins. Yaksha seemd to take a hate towards Brahms, as if telling the werewolf that he was the better one of everyone, just because he's the elder. Fehade rolled his eyes, as he folded his arms over his chest again.
Then, Yaksha used a enervation bolt. Fehade's eyes went wide, as he heard screams from men and woman alike. He stared at Yaksha, eyes wide, not with fear or respect, but with hatred.
"Why then hell did you do that for?!" Fehade basically screamed, finally losing it. He pulled out his katana Aparul, and pointed it at Yaksha. Slowly, his features returned to his demonic look. His skin going to a reddish leathery tint. His eyes burning bright red. Small horns protruding from his head, through his hair. His katana was inches away from Yaksha's throat.
"Why must you show off your little skills in public? I was trying to keep low, Half-Fiend. I'm trying to do my work silently. But no, here you come, and ruin everything!" He yelled at Yaksha. "Why don't I just tell everyone I'm a demon too? Why don't I just show off my powers? How about I show everyone, how strong I truly am? You may be older, Yaksha, but you are defiantly not smarter." He hissed. People around them were panicking, and screaming, small children cried, while they're mothers ushered them away to safetly.
Evier stood at Fehade's side, her hands resting on the shoulder of the girl.
Fehade looked at Brahms with his strange, wild eyes. "What about you, Brahms? Do you want me to demonstrate my power?" He asked, then laughed in a most cruel way.
Yaksha - September 7, 2008 07:43 PM (GMT)
Yaksha merely stared at Fehade, then laughed. "Don't you see? By your own actions at this very moment, you are aligning yourself AGAINST me! People will see you as a savior, one who fights for the sake of the innocent." Within a second, he was standing in his true demonic form, his horns askew, and his entire body emaciated, long and spindly. He gave a bone-chilling laugh, and then gave him a look of infuriating serenity.
He spoke loud enough for the panicked people to hear him. 'You pitiful child, you think you can stop me!? I am as old as death itself!" He puffed out his chest, and peered down at him. "I've no idea who you are, but your death is a pity. You could've made such a fine ally. But no, no! YOU had to defy me!" He spun, his voice even more final. "When next we meet, your death is assured. My offers are good only once." He hastily scrawled a door on a nearby wall, vanishing into the building. "Such a pity, mortal. To think you would protect these little pests."
Tsukihime Moonhaze - September 7, 2008 08:04 PM (GMT)
Power...rage...hate, the swirl of emotions and power coming from both the demonic men was almost crushing Tsuki down. The actual spiritual pressure was causing great pain to the young girl, causing her to cling even harder to Evier, her nails lightly sinking in her skin. Struggling to stay conscious under all the power released. As Yaksha left, she left out a gasp and started breathing again, falling to her knees. Tears of blood had leeked down her cheeks, as she continued to gasp for air.
The blind girl crawled a bit , trying to find something to grab and lift herself up...and all she found was fehades drawn blade. Using it to pull herself up. The she staggered towards Fehade again.
"i...want to see...please?"
Yes, she wanted to see Fehades powers, she was curious to see Fehades power.
Brahms - September 7, 2008 10:06 PM (GMT)
The eyes of Brahms widened as he was called a dog. He did not do anything since once, she seems to belong to the tiefling and two, she was blind. He nodded to Evier for her descritpion on how he was and then stood up. He also nodded to Fehade.
But beeing called doggy by someone who do not even show the signs to be respected and feared, it was a straigth insult. He turned around and glared at Yaksha with disgust.''Better Watch it Yak, the doggy may bite!''The tone used by the rogue had no escape the lycan's ears. Disrespect was clearly there.
When the half-fiend killed the child Brahms could not help but laugh.''Amazing, he killed a kid. This is a sign of great power. Unfortunetly for you, those kinds of people are my diet. You kill one, excellent for you i easily slaughter thousands of them in no time!''He hissed between his teeth.
Tough he respected Fehade's reaction and appearance, having heard his cover was blown was indeed bad. Because it also meant that Brahms cover was also blown, he wanted to see the tieflings's actions. He looked at Yaksha when he did his demonic speech but it was obvious that the lycan was mocking the guy.
He turned around to look at the girl and she wanted to see her new master's power. Thhe half-elf gulped. He did not wished to be the guinea pig of the mistic girl dark desires.''Well, why don't you show your powers to you new pet Fe?''
Fehade - September 8, 2008 02:47 AM (GMT)
Fehade, glared icily at the half-fiend. But he felt his rage slowly fade, and his disguise slowly came back. He ignored Yaksha now, and focused on calming himself. He glanced at Yaksha, when he changed to be a demon, then sighed. "Let the fools think of me as a savior for today. Because from tomorrow and end on, I will destroy their lives, and give them a nice life of hell." He hissed. He Let his horns, skin and eyes change again, most attention had been drawn to Yaksha, no one would have paid much attention to him, just little rumors.
Soon, he looked like a human again, but his katana was still pointed at Yaksha. Even when the half-fiend left using a door chalk, he still held the sword up, putting it at the open air. His rage faded, and his breathing calm. He dropped the point of his katana, so the point of the blade touched the ground and dug into the earth slightly.
"i...want to see...please?"
''Well, why don't you show your powers to you new pet Fe?''
He took a deep breath, then looked where Yaksha had been only moments before, then he shook his head. He looked tired all of a sudden. "What did you do, Rraezanon?" He mumbled under his breath, his eyes closing for a brief second, before they rested on the young girl before him. He cupped his hand under her chin, then he stooped down so his face was leveled with the young blind girls.
"I can protect you, young one. I could keep fools like him away from you, but for a price, serve me, and you will have protection from one and all. All those who do you harm will answer to me." His eyes flicked up to look a Brahms a moment, then back into the blind girls eyes. "I'll give you a purpose in life. You'll get fed, clothes, a purpose." He said, his voice soft, almost deadly.
He then released the girl, and looked at the now almost empty street. There were barely any witnesses. He may need to have Mara modify a few memories, but other then that, no one would have seen his strange changing. The human looking Fehade ran his hand through his long black hair.
"That man, Yaksha, needs to learn a lesson someday. One that he'll never forget... like my father." He said to no one in particular.
Tsukihime Moonhaze - September 8, 2008 03:59 AM (GMT)
Tsuki was at first a bit disturbed by Brahmsd comment on her being a pet, but when Fehade came down and held her chin, she felt important, somehow, as if she was needed. To her, the smooth deadly voice seemed filled with love. She noded and turned her head around, as if looking around her, but in reality she was simply scanning the erea with her ears, only to realise that Yaksha was gone.
She spoke to her new "family" and told them the only thing she knew of herself.
"i...accept. My name is Tsukihime Moonhaze...but call me tsuki"
She said with a small smile.
Brahms - September 8, 2008 08:57 PM (GMT)
Brahms looked at the scene. It was somewhat touching to see Fehade wanting to protect this girl. But why her? He did not cared about the situation about Yaksha, he would deal with him later, it was sure. He stared at the new partner of the halfling and smiled.
He slowly went off playing his music, a dark ballad once more. There was other time, he would follow the demon infused, but tonight was enough. Tommorow was another day.
Fehade - September 8, 2008 09:30 PM (GMT)
Fehade smiled, a stranger smile, one that seemed oddly satisfied, one that never crossed Fehade's face ever. And there was a strange almost orange like glow behind the dark blue eyes, but it was barely noticeable. He stood up straight and stretched somewhat, his eyes looking at some still stunned people. They gave him weird looks as if they had noticed something. He put on a fake confused look, and shrugged. Then looked at Brahms, who was playing again, and his usual cold look returned. He turned on his heel and walked towards the tavern.
He lifted a hand, and waved to Evier, and to bring the girl. He tilted his head over his shoulder to glance at Brahms.
"Why don't you come join us, Brahms. Its been a while since I've chatted with a old friend." He sneered the word friend, fining it a disgusting word. Friends, Fehade had none, and liked it that way. One who tried to be a "friend", never succeeded. Fehade only has allies, and enemies, though, more enemies more then anything.
He made it to the tavern. Even though people gave him terrified glances, at least, those who paid attention to him during the small verbal fight, but he ignored all glances, except that from a young man, who stared at him with hatred it seemed. He must have gotten a clear look at the tiefling. Fehade smirked as he walked by the young human boy, and into the tavern, where it was oddly quiet. He reached a table in the corner of the room, and pulled out a chair with his foot, and slumped down into it lazily, and leaned back, putting his booted feet on the wooden table in a relaxed manner.
Evier had followed after resting her hand on the girls shoulder to help direct her. When inside, and at the table, Evier sat down in a char, and sat there rigidly, ignoring the stares from all the lonely men.
Tsukihime Moonhaze - September 9, 2008 02:24 AM (GMT)
Slowly, Tsuki followed Evier. Since she did not need to actualy decide of where she was going, it was rather easy for her to simply focus on not falling down. Soon they had reached the inside of the tavern and she sat on Evier lap. The smell of food and alcohol slowly whifted in her noes, making her stomach grumble lightly. She remembered how fehade said she would have food, but didnt ask a thing, since she didnt dare ask. She wasnt a fool, she knew that she had just met them and asking would be rude...but she was so hungry!
Brahms - September 9, 2008 02:31 PM (GMT)
The lycan stopped and turned to the tiefling, with wide eyes and mouth. Even on the tone use it meant a lot. Perhaps it was a way to show a bit of some respect, Fehade's way. He shrugged accepted the invitation, it would be foolish to not follow the most promising member in the guild.
As he walked behind him and could not help but ask."Fehade? You covering a fever or something? I never heard you calling someone a friend even on a despising tone...First you accept a girl, blind nice act of generosity and then you call me friend. Evier, is he feeling okay?"He made a teasing smile to Evier, and then wink at the tiefling."Anyway, i think we are getting most of the attention...."
He wanted to smile with his teeth but most saw the change in Yaksha and the modification in Fehade. It would prove that they were just a bunch of demons, perhaps except the girl. But something was telling him she was more then what she seemed. He could not help but having a strange look at her. He then glared at some at the bar."HEY, COULD WE BE SERVES?"
Fehade - September 9, 2008 03:51 PM (GMT)
Fehade smiled as Brahms spoke, seeming outright surprised that Fehade had said friend. Changes in Fehade were working rapidly, Rraezanon was making sure of that. "I'm completely fine, Brahms. No fever, nothing. Just don't ever expect me to say that annoying word again." He said. He heard Brahms say they were getting most of the attention, and they were, his cover was blown, they may have to leave sooner then he wanted, but he ignored that thought for now, if the people really wanted to send guards after him, then he will let them, and he would turn this little village into a graveyard.
"HEY, COULD WE BE SERVES?"
Again, a thin smile spread across his face, his eyes closed as he waited for the server to come. "I think you need to learn some patience, little doggy." Fehade said, basically mocking with the words "little doggy". Then a maid did come, Fehade's eyes snapped open, looking at the human waitress.
"Hello again, mister Mraxx. How can I help you this evening?" She asked, as she looked at Fehade's group, then back to him.
"I need some Firewater. And bring the bottle over too." He looked at Tsuki, then gestured to the girl. "And a bowl of stew for my daughter." He said calmly, glancing at the girl sitting in Evier's lap. Then averted his eyes, and closing them. To those around him, it may seem he was sleeping silently, but he was merely talking with his demon infused, it seemed amazing he was holding a conversation with the demon and not snapping out in complete anger.
Tsukihime Moonhaze - September 9, 2008 05:44 PM (GMT)
Tsuki simply scanned the erea with her ears, trying to make out the sounds she could hear. Suddenly Brahms yelled to be serves!
"Doggy, i think we say...served!" she said with a gleeful smile.
She smiled and giggled at the idea of stew, since her stomach was so hungry. Hopping off Evier, the young girl went straight to Brahms and passed under his legs, and then clinging to his back, she slowly climbed her way up to his shoulders, where she sat, her hands grabing his hair as she continued to scan the erea.
Brahms - September 9, 2008 06:58 PM (GMT)
Brahms grinned seeing this attention was now on him, proof his he had the girl passing under his legs, climbed on his back and held his hair."Ow! Hey sweetie, that kinda hurts. Either you put your arms around my neck or you'll see uncle Doggy be a bit frustrated."
He smiled at the tiefling as he called Tsuki, daughter."So Evier is mommy and you are daddy, how so cute."He then looked at the waitress. "A big bloody steak if possible."The waitress stared at him with strange eyes but received quite a glare. If there would only have been her and the lycan, she would have been the one to be what he ordered.
Fehade - September 9, 2008 09:16 PM (GMT)
Fehade opened his eyes, watching the girl Tsuki. He merely observed her, saying nothing, and no emotion showing on his stone cold face. His blue eyes looked as if they were looking through her. The girl looked older, but acted as if she was two. She looked so small and pathetic to Fehade. She climbed up Brahms and grabbed his hair. Brahms of course protested. Fehade eyes flashed slightly. If Brahms ever harmed the girl, well, Fehade would have to do as he promised the girl, deal with those who harm her, and he would have to do well to not show any mercy, which wouldn't be hard for him.
"So Evier is mommy and you are daddy, how so cute."
Fehade finally looked away from Tsuki, and looked at Brahms, and narrowed his eyes. "One big happy family." He murmured. He looked to Evier, and glared at her a moment. "Evier, seeing as things have settled more, go get our supplies. And seeing as we have a new addition to the family, make sure to get extra. And new clothes for the girl." He spoke to the nightmare, who nodded once again, then stood swiftly up, and headed for the door, and out.
He looked at Tsuki once again.
"And you, my girl, better start behaving yourself, you wouldn't believe the annoying stares at us right now." Fehade said. Then the waitress came again, with the food, and Fehade's Firewater. She set the steak in front of Brahms, and the stew on the table also, and put the bottle of clear liquid in the middle, then she walked off.
Fehade snatched the bottle and one of the glass the server had brought and poured it, then drank the small shot in a second.
"Why were you following me, Brahms?" The old Fehade seemed to snap out again, even though his eyes were disguised, even the dark blue managed to look like endless pits of hell.
Tsukihime Moonhaze - September 10, 2008 12:54 AM (GMT)
Tsuki slowly climbed down from Brahms back, and walked next to Fehade. As she sit on the stool, she sniffed inthe beautiful smell of the stew. As the waitress left, she spoke to her new master.
"So your name is Fehade? Why...why did you ofer me this? im just a little girl and i don't even know who i am really..."
She continued to sip in the broth from the stew, keeping the chunks for the end. Somehow she suddenly seemed more mature and older in general as she spoke, as if the little girl was only a cover. Was she only 14? even she didnt know the answer to that.
"I am sorry about bringing more atention, i did not realise it since i cannot see their faces..."
She said, her head leaning down a bit, realising her new master had not liked the fact she brought atention to them.
Brahms - September 11, 2008 03:10 AM (GMT)
the lycan was famished, he could not wait to long to eat. It would have been either the waitress, the steak or anyone else. When Evier passed by him, he could not help but look at her butt as she goes. Then as soon as the plate was in front of him, he took it in his hand and bite it off a good chunk. He had barely noticed the glared of the tiefling.
Chewing on the good meat he had in his mouth he looked towards Fehade. It was pretty funny actually. Seems that the demon-infused tiefling could make a better father then his own. Where could this man learn about caring a bit? This was getting suspicious.
He took another bite grossly as he started to be interrogated. The half-elf had really no education. He spoke with the drool, and the sauce slowly dripping out of his mouth as he chew and spoke at the same time. "Shimple, dhewe iz a'wayz fun wid ya....."He gulped and took a bit of Fehade's bottle and drank a good amount directly. As he placed the bottle back, he sighed, happy about a good stomach filled and suddenly burped loudly."Oh, sorry....Hehe."
Fehade - September 11, 2008 05:50 PM (GMT)
"So your name is Fehade? Why...why did you ofer me this? im just a little girl and i don't even know who i am really..."
He looked at Tsuki with his cold gaze. Why did he offer it to her? Rraezanon wanted to keep the girl, he had been curious for her, but what was the true reason. Fehade looked away, and took his bottle of Firewater and poured himself another serving of it, and drank that too. Things have been happening to Fehade, things he didn't understand, and Rraezanon won't tell him what. The tiefling sighed.
"I don't know." Was his short answer. He looked at Brahms as he tore into his food.
"Shimple, dhewe iz a'wayz fun wid ya....."
He tilted his head slightly, not even noticing as Brahms took his drink and drank quite a bit, Fehade's attention was on the half-elf. "Following me for just a laugh?" He hissed. He started glaring again, then his lips twitched into his thin smile as he leaned back again so the chair was only on its back legs. "I suppose I shouldn't interrogate you today... or ever. These next couple weeks have to be joyous. Soon, by the end of the month, my father will be no more. By the end of the month, he will be nothing more then a memory. Someone of the past. My game will finally be starting." He said, a glint flashing through his eyes.
"Six years... it felt like a thousand. Finally, I'll be able to break free of my fathers hold." Fehade said, smiling cruelly, he almost seemed excited, to finally see his fathers blood spill.
Tsukihime Moonhaze - September 11, 2008 06:54 PM (GMT)
Tsukihime finished off her stew and leaned back to look at Fehade making a "=3" face. She couldnt resist a light chuckle as she looked and heard brahms eat his foot like an animal.
"thanks...dad" she hesitated on the word at first since it seemed wird, but she figured she could quickly get used to it, especialy if she could get to be around Evier. Her ears listened intensily, catching how much hatred he had for his father.
"why do you hate him so much? is it because your diferent from him? *whispers* im not even your daughter and your nice to me, was he...a bad father?"
She then realised she ha dbeen ofered a family, food, and clothing. She wanted to repay them at least, somehow.
"if i can help you kill him...i dont mind, so just ask me ok?" Her voice was a little quivering at the idea at first, but she quickly regained her composure.
Brahms - September 12, 2008 01:33 AM (GMT)
Brahms looked at Fehade and smiled. The fact that the tiefling is planning to kill his own father put a little spice in this evening, even the burst out of Yaksha was nothing compared to that. The half-elf finished his meal and listened to the girl.
His eyes widened, even if she was hesitating something was not right....No one so young would dare to think about the killing, even simply to help for one. What was her power? Why could not she remember anything then but her name? The lycan felt like he should investigate on that."See, the death of your father sounds great! I'm in, want it or not!''
He cracked his knuckles as he smashed them together. He took as a guess that if the tiefling was not taking any more drink, he would aswell finish the bottle. So he took it and finished it, unleashing quite burp and a sigh of satisfaction.
Fehade - September 12, 2008 02:23 AM (GMT)
"thanks...dad"
He smiled slightly, then shook his head. He heard her hesitate, and he it made him smirk. "Don't worry, Tsuki, you won't have to call me that all the time, I prefer Fehade, but, when we're in public, and I'm playing Master Mraxx, pm;y then will I be known as your father. Other times... a ward, or servant." He shrugged.
"why do you hate him so much? is it because your diferent from him? *whispers* im not even your daughter and your nice to me, was he...a bad father?"
He laughed. "My father? Was he bad? That can be a way to put him. My father banished me from the family when I was merely sixteen, with no idea how to survive away from the demonic family. He was quite... merciless." He told the young girl. "I hate him, for what he did to me, how he ruined me. Its sort of disappointing how I'm not the favored child anymore, the one who would have claimed the families name when my time came." He said. But now, when I finish my games, the Golden's will be no more... no more names to claim, He thought, smiling to himself. "You do realize you talk to much, right, tiefling?" Rraezanon hissed softly in his head, and Fehade's smile was gone immediately.
"if i can help you kill him...i dont mind, so just ask me ok?"
"See, the death of your father sounds great! I'm in, want it or not!''
"Well, as wonderful as those offers are, you cannot help. Me and Rraezanon have agreed to do this ourselves. But don't worry, little Tsuki. You'll have plenty of things to kill. It'll be nice to have someone help with the jobs Mara constantly gives. Gets a little... tedious." He said, eyes narrowing again. Rraezanon wants her dead, but even though Fehade hates her, since he first tried, he could never again pull himself to try. They had been something int the past, lovers as one would say, but Fehade didn't pay attention to the past much. She was only still alive because she was strong also, and because she was helping the tiefling.
He watched as the lycan drank the rest of the Firewater. He grumbled something under his breath, but decided not to say anything. Last thing Fehade need was to get drunk and not be well enough to do his job right tonight.
Tsukihime Moonhaze - September 12, 2008 04:40 PM (GMT)
Tsuki Listened intently on Fehades story on his father, and her face seemed disappointed when she heard she could not help him in his quest to kill his father. On the other hand, her face became bright again when he told her about the "jobs" Mara would give them, and she would be able to kill with he rnew father.
Her atention then switched to Brahms, who seemed to start feeling the effects of the beverage, mainly by his insane burp. Her ears twitched twice, the first at the burp, the second...as she heard the foot steps of a small animal, what was this animal...she sniffed, trying to smell what it was but was unsure...((orange kitten ftw))
Brahms - September 13, 2008 03:58 AM (GMT)
((Come on Tsuki, i wanted to bring my cat for later :P))
The half-elf crossed his arms and make the chair lean, and he rocked it. He did not really cared about the history of the Fehade, not that he did not cared about the guy, just not his past. It was too complicated. A kill, that was more like it. Nothing to worry, no question about the life of the victim. Just a plain, bloody, painful death.
Tough the fact that he was considering the girl as his daughter to save his identity was kind of weird. The maturity suddenly showed by Tsuki at this moment was too strange, perhaps the girl could be older then his master, even combined with the age of Brahms. He would need to investigate on that, in a way or another.
His eyes widened as the tiefling refused their help."Wha-? Hey, well if you need back up, i'm there if ya need me! I won't let you go down."While rocking he suddenly felt a little something stroking his leg. With all the others his nose was kinda off guard. Startled the lycan made a backflipped in the air as the chair was going down, but quickly grabbed it and was about to smash it on what stroke itself on him.
With two big yellow eyes, the kitten looked at Brahms with his ears flat on him and shaking. He seemed like an orange tiger bringing even more rage in him. The chair was smashed on the ground. Only the rubbles of the wooden chair was lying around and on the small feline. A wide grin appeared on his face. But when the cat rosed his head and meowed, the bard was astonished. Did he missed the the orange hairball? But in any case, he had attracted the whole attention.
Fehade - September 13, 2008 08:21 PM (GMT)
Fehade rested back in his chair again, and then closed his eyes once more. He supposed it was time to get some rest, well, not really. He glanced at his katana, but it seemed like his eyes were still closed, they were merely slits as he looked at his weapons. He decided not to speak again, but merely stay as silent as the grave. He merely smiled thinly at Brahms protest, but did not answer it. Fehade had made this decision a few days ago. He had to do it himself, if someone helped, then it would ruin all of his plans, it would mean Fehade would never be strong enough to even get revenge right.
He listened to the movements of the others as he sat completely still, the only movement around him was the rising and falling of his chest as he breathed, and the long hair that hung about his his, his breath making a few strands of hair waver gently. He heard something happening at the table, of Brahms landing on the ground and grabbing the chair. He heard the meow of a kitten, but never once flinched or opened his eyes.
Only when he felt the eyes of pretty much everyone in the tavern did he finally open his eyes to see what the commotion was. He looked at Brahms, then around at the occupants in the tavern, and muttered a curse under his breath in the demonic tongue.
"Congratulations, Brahms, you brought everyone's attention back to us, over what? A small little pest." Fehade whispered sharply. Then slowly, the tiefling stood, lifting a hand to his mouth, stifling a yawn. He glanced to a maid, and waved her over, then spoke to her quickly, and handing her a couple gold coins. "I require two rooms for the night... and another bottle of Firewater. I fear little will be able to help me sleep tonight." He said the last part quieter. He then looked over his shoulder at his new servant.
"You and Evier will share the second room. She will be back here soon. You may go rest whenever you wish, but no talking to the others in this room. No speaking to the other men, only Brahms, I'm sure he will be also kind enough to guide you to your room when you wish. But, Brahms, a small warning. Touch Tsuki and I will not hesitant to kill you." He said. His eyes held no compassion, no kindness, the look in his eyes told the truth that he really would not hesitant a second, if it came to killing the lycan.
He then turned on his heel and strode toward the stairwell on one side of the room. He grabbed the bottle of Firewater at the bar as he went by. He went up the stairs two at a time, and down the hall, and into an empty room. He felt himself changing again. His skin turned to a deathly pale color, and his eyes gleamed bright blood red. His hair grew longer, til it was a little past his shoulder blades. He ran a hand through his charcoal black hair. He shifted his pwifiwi cloak around his shoulders better. He checked to make sure all his weapons were in place, his hidden punching dagger, and dagger. He then sat on the edge of the bed, and opened up a scroll from Mara, starting to read through it, the instructions and what he was to find, and kill.
((OOC: I don't want to the topic to end now, I plan to have Fehade slip out unnoticed, then shortly after get into some trouble, for more excitement and something to do, lol))
Tsukihime Moonhaze - September 15, 2008 01:27 AM (GMT)
Tsukihime could hear the man breath as he rested, but she knew he was not asleep. the rythm of his breathing was not that of a sleeping person. suddenly, her ears twitched as Brahms backfliped and smashed the chair on the ground, sending shards of wood everywhere. Her instincts blazing, she moved head lightly, dodging a would be fatal peice of wood if it had hit.
Now that the atention was on them again, she could hear the men speak and mumble many things about them. Getting up she crossed her arms and noded towards Brahms.
"you people have a problem? he is a little jumpy these days, and that cat scared him, thats all. If anyone has a problem with that, then you can go and get yourself drunk!"
After this she listened to her master ask for rooms, and then noded at the mentioning of her sleeping with Evier. Being to girls, she didnt mind. She would get to know more of this lady she started to like, and also, she could ask why she had this curious aura and smell about her...
Leah Curry - September 15, 2008 07:48 PM (GMT)
*Leah slicks down the street with her longsword equipped to her left side and her cloak wrapped around her. She brushes a stray purple hair strand from her face as she peers around the night, trying to make sense of the colours. She had difficulty seeing dark colours which was suprising because she is training to be a Ranger. This had started when she was little and living with her family
Her family. She hadn't thought of them since they kicked her out of the house. She wonders what had happened to them. Why couldn't they see that she wanted to go her own way? She hated that all her family was assassins. They lie, kill, steal and goodness knows what else they do but they get mad when Leah says she wants to live a different style. Leah pushs those thoughts away as she sniffs the air and tells that it will probably rain that night.
Brahms - September 16, 2008 01:14 AM (GMT)
As soon as Fehade said his comment, Brahms scratched the back of his head. And once again he disappointed this one. How many time would he do that? The tiefling was one of the rare one that he respected, for what reason? It was hard to get. He was not that over-confident and would not think himself higher then the others....to a point....
Tough his eyes widened as the girl was taking his defense to get the attention away. But now it was on her. Why a girl in the middle-teens behave that way? The people in the tavern was staring at each others and most left. There was too much action here tonight. The half-elf placed his hand on Tsuki's shoulder and smiled at her."
Thanks a lot i guess. You're real nice with me. I guess i should be with you too from now on ,eh?"
After hearing Fehade renting two rooms nowing there would be one for the girls, he tougth the other was for the man, not only the tiefling. He stood up and was ready to follow him but there was condition. He tougth he had to babysit her. He shrugged, he did not mind. He could investigate a bit, asking questions, trying to revive her memory a way or another.
He smiled at her."So, wanna go to bed yet or not? You know i'm not a bad musician so..."He had no real approach to do or anything. So why not just chat with her, it would not do any harm....Could it?
Fehade - September 16, 2008 02:53 AM (GMT)
Fehade rolled the scroll up, and slipped it into another pocket, then checked his weapons one more time before he turned to the window, and opening it wide. He had done this often. No one downstairs would know he's gone, and he wouldn't return til most of them are too drunk to even notice him sliding through the door. When the window was open wide as it could go, he looked out, making sure no one was in sight. Then sat on the sill, legs dangling out, then he pushed himself off, falling down to the ground. He landed on his feet in a crouch, then he stood up, then stalked off towards the shadows, passing a window, but no one in the tavern could see his face, except the red eyes the glanced in then looked again again. The tiefling was soon sliding through the shadows unnoticed as he made his way towards a taller building, that looked liked it belong to a noble.
He reached the back of the house, where there was door for the servants. But no lights were inside. Everyone was sleeping. Fehade smiled to himself at this little luck. He went to the door, and opened it, finding it was unlocked amazingly.
He didn't get two paces into the house before something cracked hard on Fehade's head. The hit was hard, it normally wouldn't have harmed him much due to his stronger skin, but this person seemed to know and hit his head again, making the tiefling fall limply to the ground. He struggled to get up, and started chanting in the magic language. He lifted a hand at the person who had hit him, but just as the last syllables were coming off his tongue the person quickly slipped a plain looking silver bracelet on Fehade's wrist. Fehade's hand glowed darkly a moment, before he felt the magic being surpressed. His eyes widened as the bracelet seemed to tighten so hard around his wrist that the edges cut into his skin, drawing forth blood.
He tried to take it off, but already knew he couldn't. He would have got up, but someone then decided to kick Fehade in the side, making the tiefling spit out curses. Someone lit a few candles, and Fehade could finally see who did this to him. They were in a somewhat large plain room. Leaning against the wall were two woman, one was a half-elf and dressed as a sorceress, the other was a tiefling like himself, and a warrior.
Standing over the tiefling was a Aasimar man, who looked like a warrior also. At the doorway that led to a hall, was another man, a Drow.
"Hallo, Fehade. Fancy seeing you here." The Aasimar said, grinning wickedly.
"Nax." Fehade mumbled. The Aasimar, Nax, merely smiled slightly. He was about to kick Fehade again, but the Drow shook his head, and Nax stepped back, letting Fehade pick himself up, using the wall for support. "This isn't a very warm welcome is it?"
"Its the best we could do since what you did to our friends. Your once friends." The Drow said, and left his post, coming towards Fehade, and grabbed his neck, pinning the tiefling to the wall. The Drow took out a dagger with his free hand and stabbed it into Fehade's side. The tiefling cried out in pain as his old friend twisted the dagger sharply.
"I suppose I should be flattered then." Fehade grunted in pain again as Ferorul gave it a final jerk, then released him, letting Fehade slump against the wall again, clenching the wound the dagger left. He would have drawn one of his own weapons, but there were four, well experienced fighters here. If it was a one on one combat, Fehade would have won easily even in this state, but with all four, then it could get a little hard. Fighting would be useless, especially with his magic now useless because of the silver band around his wrist. He shook his hand slightly, drips of blood joining those from his dagger wound.
"Can we kill him now? We have to be out of here before some authorities decide to check this house out." The half elf Anahtahl said almost worriedly.
"Sounds good to me." Muttered the tiefling, then moved forward, pulling out a wicked looking stiletto. Nirzeseuh walked to Fehade, a smile crossing her face. "Hello again, sweetie. Hows Mara been?" She asked as she plunged the stiletto into Fehade chest. He gasped in pain and clenched the blade. He fell instantly limp to the ground, not exactly unconscious. He refused to go unconscious. Instead of trying to focus on anything else, he focused on the pain as he reached for the stiletto, and he yanked it out, refusing to let his pain show. Nirz reached down about to take the weapon, but Fehade lashed out grabbing her shoulder and stabbing the stiletto into her neck.
--------------------
As all that happened, Evier returned to the tavern, a couple paper bags in hand as she weaved herself delicately through the crowded inn, back to the table where Brahms and Tsuki was. She smiled at the young girl, then looked at Brahms, then to the empty seat where Fehade had been sitting minutes before. She tilted her head slightly.
"Where did he go?" The nightmare asked in her silky voice.
