In the hot desert walked a cheetah, her fur gleaming and soft. Her long legs carried her at amazing speeds and enourmous strides. The desert was harsh and Nia's tounge was dry.

After some time she came to the spot where the best water lay, the water that looked as if it were made of saphiers and diamonds crushed together. Nia padded over to the side of the pool and bent down. Her long neck took her to the water and her light pink tounge cuping the water so she could let the cool liquid run down her throat. The cool water was refreshing, but she needed to be careful. many people would poach or kill her kind for fear of them being dangerous or for a prize to hang on a wall. So she drank on the far side away from where everyone traded.

The pool was deserted exept for the antalop or elk that was unaware of her presance and would have run at the sight. However she would not have hunted them. though because of her cheetah blood she liked rare meat still she fould the whole act rather appauling.

To her side she saw a shadow come close to her, then a person leaning down by her to fill their cup with water. Immiditatly her mucles became stiff.
