I have a question regarding magical items.
I would like to add a spell to a peace of jewelry. The jewelry already has one spell on it. Would I be able to add a second spell? I know you can have two enchantments on weapons and armor but this may not be the same thing. The only time the spell would be used is via the jewelry. Can I do something like that?
I don't really know about this one. What you be trying to do?
I would like to add the spell Sanctuary permanently to my Earthmeld Gem so that she isn't the one casting it. Basically I want the spell to be part of her class as a healer so she isn't harmed.
Very creative but I'm afraid I'm going to have to disappoint.
The answer is that you can not combine spells with magic items to make them more powerful, as prize items are more powerful than normal artefacts. You can make tiny edits to their powers (like I did with my Force Blade, turning it into a 'good' force blade) but you can not add more powers to them. Sorry :(
That said, you could buy a piece of jewellery and combine the spell, so that every time you rubbed your necklace and said a magic word or two, the spell would work. An idea perhaps?
