Lynx sat alone, her tail curled up around her body and her ears carefully hidden beneath a hat. She had even covered up her blindness with some dark tinted spectacles. She could only hope that they were what they were said to be. She could always have gone back to the guild to ask someone but had decided against it in the end. Why bother?

She was going through an odd stage at the moment. One she rarely encountered. But it didn't matter. Assassin's weren't heartless as people may have thought. Sure they were calculating and sometimes cold, but they still felt. Lynx was the same way. She was still human...half, but even more so she could still feel and still be effected by her situations.

And so here she was.

It seemed like the safest bet. Wander off to be alone with her thoughts. And where better really? It was ruins and the fact that it was dead and crumbling suited her own mood just fine, besides it was quiet, almost peaceful here. Lynx was hunched over, sitting atop one of the ruins with her head in her hands. She had never felt so alone.
