Spells:

Summon Guardian: An incorpral figure welding a blade of pure power is summoned. This Guardian will protect the summonor unless ordered to protect another.

Challenge: You target a single foe and call them forth with your challenge. You become the main focus of this person's attack.

Transportation: You target a single person and switch locations with them.


Holy/Good Spells:

Sacred Ground: A wave of white light centered on the caster and going out in a 30 foot radius creates a circle of Holy Energy. This energy will heal those with good alignments like the spell aid and will harm those who are evil aligned

Holy Smite: (opposite of Enervation)

Death Watch: You or a single target gain the ability to resist the call of death itself for a short time. (similar to the Strong Soul Feat)

Sanctify: The air fills with a light shimmering mist that does not hamper the ability any senses, but does clear the area of harmful or debilitating effects within 20 feet of the caster.

Instant Karma: Only usable against one target per thread or per 24 hours should a thread last that long. Every attack made by that target is instantly turned back on themselves.


Shadow/Dark Magic:

Shadow Form: You fly apart into a swarm of bat-like shadows. You can fly about anywhere and cannot be harmed or harm anyone while in this form.

Leach: You cast what looks like a silver bolt at your foe. If it strikes, it becomes a silvery goo that slowly saps away the target's strengths and grants it to the caster.


Mind Magic:

Friendly: Your magic convinces one foe that you are in fact a friend for at least three posts. This will last longer if they are given no reason to doubt you are a friend.

Copy: You become an exact replica of one target so that even good friends can't tell the pair of you apart.

Mesmerize: On command, you stop one target from moving by casting them into a trance like state. You can give them a single simple command that, as long as it will not directly harm them, they will attempt to do.

Bubble: You create a clear sphere of pure force around a target. Nothing can pass through the sphere from either side.

Displacement: You appear to be a step to the right or left of where you really are.

Cage: An inviable cage of force entraps one foe, trapping them behind unseen bars.

Well, here it goes...



General Spells

Summon Guardian: Perhaps the guardian could take a shape that is specific to each caster? I don't know, it just seems like the kind of thing that would change depending on who cast it. Also, I think there should be a time-limit, or at least a limit on the caster. Since its made of energy, maybe they have to maintain focus to keep the energy from dissipating?

Challenge: This looks good, I just think that something could be added. It would be a bit more useful, and more fun I think, if the caster and the person that it's cast on cannot be attacked by anyone else. It'd be like an instant one-on-one match until something happened... The spell goes away once one of them is unconscious or surrenders? Dunno...

Transportation: Sounds like oodles of fun, and very useful. Maybe just change the name? Transportation makes it seem like the caster can just poof themselves anywhere they want.

Holy/Good Spells

Sacred Ground: Nothing to say except this: How about a counter? It could be the opposite, just evil. Called... Tainted Ground, or something.

Holy Smite: So, it would attack someone with positive energy? I think you should be careful of the use of the word 'opposite'. It's more attacking with holy energy than attacking with positive energy, which I imagine would make people happy...

Death Watch: Maybe put a restriction on it to keep people from abusing it? Only one cast per such and such an amount of time? Or maybe the caster can only maintain the spell on one person at a time, that'd work. Otherwise, people might just cast the spell over and over until they have an un-killable party.

Sanctify: I think you should add that it purifies anything caught in the glimmering area. As in, you cast it, and poisoned food is un-poisoned. Make sense?

Instant Karma: Perhaps a bit too good, albeit endlessly entertaining. Maybe make it work on a particular attack, or the person's next attack? That way it really would be instant Karma. That way, you could let it be cast a bit more often, but it wouldn't make someone entirely worthless.

Shadow/Dark Magic

Shadow Form: *Thumbs Up*

Leach: For some reason, it seems like more of a necromancy spell...

Mind Magic

Friendly: *Thumbs Up*

Copy: This'd be hard to pull off, considering there's all the stuff that's in a person's mind. Do you mean that it's just the body that's being a 'perfect' copy?

Mesmerize: *Thumbs Up*

Bubble: Somehow, this seems more like general magic than mind magic. Hm.

Displacement: Tee hee, sounds like fun.

Cage: *Thumbs Up*

Summon Guardian: That would be up to the caster. That's called flavor! ^_^

Challenge: ooh! I like the idea of making a one on one thing!

Transportation: Any suggestions for a name change?

Sacred Ground: I like the idea of an opposite! *goes to see what she can do about it*

Holy Smite: I was thinking something along the idea of a light ranged spell. Holy in nature, it could be used to heal a good aligned character, but would harm an evil aligned one or something of the like.

Death Watch: This would be an Epic Spell. Perhaps have it be so that you can't cast it on more then one person.

Sanctify: *nods in agreement*

Instant Karma: This would be an epic spell once more... don't know if I like it being just the next attack or something... :unsure:

Leach: that works too, the groups there are in now are just sort of general groupings.

Copy: no, they copy the entire person so that even friends can not tell the difference between the two of them.

Bubble: I'm trying for a force/psyonic spell. There is also a few telekinetic spells and a few other random ones in the works.

Creates a mental blast of energy that physically damages enemies in front of the caster, possibly knocking them backwards.

Selling Price: 50

Mental Blast
Creates a mental wave of energy that physically damages enemies in all directions from the caster, possibly knocking them backwards.
Buying Price: 100
Selling Price: 50

Web
Brings a magic spiderweb into existence to trap the caster's enemies.
Buying Price: 80
Selling Price: 40

Transportation: Maybe something like "Switch"? Actually, now all I can think of is the Mad Hatter yelling "Change Places!" "Trade" could work to....

Holy Smite: Well, if we want to still go with the idea of an opposition to Enervation, then it could be positive energy. I guess it'd be the same way that you can enervate a demon, you could use holy magic on a good-person. It just wouldn't do as much damage?

Death Watch + Instant Karma: Oh! Now that I get that they're epic, it makes more sense. Alrighty. :D But maybe Instant Karma can last a bit less? Right now, it renders the person completely useless indefinitely. Maybe it can only last a few hours?

Extra Note: Now I'm thinking of the Instant Karma thing, but my non-epic version. I think a spell that could turn an attack back to its source could be usefull... Just a thought. ^_^

Copy: Tricky tricky! I guess it'd just take some thinking, how does the person that uses the spell know all the things that the original knew? Then again, I guess since it's a mind spell... yeah. I see.

Bubble: Alrighty. In the face of evidence, I will grant that this could work, since it's a bubble of psionic force. Maybe specify that?

Instant Karma: How many hours would be a few? 2? Or should it just say a few hours?

I do like the idea of a weaker version for one attack though!

Bubble: ... I thought I did. A 'force' bubble... :unsure:

Yup yup yup to everything. :)

Oh, and the few hours could be two or three, more if you want. It wouldn't make sense to make it too much more since they'd figure it out after a while. They'd stop attacking since it'd only hurt them...

The bubble thing... well, I thought that 'force' was just energy, like general energy. But since it's psionic force, I get it now.
