Title: New Dangers
Description: OPEN
Sophie Mist - August 1, 2008 10:02 PM (GMT)
Sohpie angrily walked through the crowd, pushing past people, her skin almost hot to the touch. Just a couple days ago a drama had occured that had forced her pack to reveal their true identitys as werewolfs to two humans. And her pack leader, Stephan, belived it to be all her fault. So she now stormed through the crowd angrily.
Stephan was not far behind watching as sophie left, her black hair with feathers in it bobbing as she walked, he shouted angry words at her. Telling her to come back this instant. Behind stephan the other two female pack members yelled for him to stop loosing his temper.
Finnally he caught her. Sophie could feel his strong hand wrap aorund her thin wrist, panic and anger surged through her. Together it created an emotion that left her motionless as he stared at her. "It was not all my fault." Sophie said this and stated it clearly.
Stephan smiled, a wicked smile that she had seen only for flickers but now in its full force. It was devistating in two ways, it was devistatingly handsom, and devistatingly dangerous. He leaned in so his lips grazed her ear. "I cheated when Collin and I fought for the pack leader position."
Sohpie gasped. She had always felt that something was wrong. But this explained only some of it. There was more he was not telling her.
Sophie was saved however when they heard voices behind them. Sophie quickly took a few steps back and looked at him. "Understood." She said simply.
Eliel - August 2, 2008 08:12 PM (GMT)
Eliel walked through the crowd cheerily, munching on an apple he'd just bought from a merchant stall. It was beautiful fruit, grown on the edge of the black river. Apparently, the fruit took the properties of the water, leaving him feeling refreshed and perfectly healthy.
Gwen padded along behind him, clearing his way. People stopped to observe the creature, a beast of the shadow plane, here in Cascadia. Her sheer size terrified some, made others stare in wonder. Eliel chuckled at the crowd's reaction to Gwen, making his way slowly.
The drow spotted a girl not too far away and frowned. She seemed familiar. Suddenly it hit him when Gwen sniffed the air and turned to them, sending Eliel an image of the silvery wolf with icy eyes. He smiled and began to follow, calling out to her. But the crowd's noise drowned it out.
Eliel watched as the man spoke to her, several people following. Eliel assumed this was their pack. He tried to catch up but the crowd stood in his way. Eliel looked at Gwen to ask her help and she seemed all to pleased to abide.
She threw a globe of darkness in front of the girl, a globe of black ten feet in diameter. She growled at the commoners until a way was clear. Eliel approached them, hood dow, cloak flowing freely, displaying his vast armory beneath.
“Hello, there.”
Sophie Mist - August 2, 2008 08:47 PM (GMT)
Sophie watched as he made a display, his large cat making way through the crowd. But a cloud of mist clouded alot of oher vision in front of her. Sophie stood still, her muscles tense and rigid. Her ice blue eyes wathed as he walked forward, his face cheeful but there was a darkness about him.
"Hi, come for play or buisness?" She asked, her head to one side and one eye brow raised for a moment as she watched and studied him.
After much deliberation she came to a conclusion. He was confident yes, but had a dark side. He was smart and showed his power.
Sophie put a hand on her hip and smiled. Stephan stood behind her scowling, his dark chocolote brown eyes intense and shadowed.
Eliel - August 2, 2008 08:57 PM (GMT)
Eliel shook his head. “ To Cascadia? To play. But I saw you and couldn't help but to catch you. To apologize.” He said with a weak grin, looking at Sophie. “I realize your... troubles were as much my fault as they were the other elf's. And for that I'm sorry. I never had any intention of causing you trouble. I knew what you were, anyhow. Having a large cat with extra sensitive senses does that.” He said, resting a hand on the flat of Gwen's head.
Eliel smiled at both Sophie and Stephan. “I hope to become friends. It seems you have few, being werewolves. One would think you need a friend who knows what you are and really doesn't care.” He laughed. “Believe it or not, I'm more hunted than you are. Just not on the surface as much.” He winked at them.
Eliel awaited their answer intently, looking back and forth between the two.

Sophei smiled. Oh how warewolfs are so missunderstood! They feed like any normal being. They sleep, they breathe the same air. The only differance is the transformation that thier bodys take when they are changed into cannine hunters with soft fur with the speed of the wind. Sohpie wanted a friend desperatly so she smiled back. But was inturrupted when Stpehan began to speak.
"Do not apologize, it was Sohpie's fautl and she has been scolded." He said as if he were reporting the daily weather.
A frustrated frown found its way onto Sophies lips. You are evil, and it has mroe to do than with Collin. Sophie sent Stephan meantally. "We are freinds, thanks for your support at the river. Your cat is truly a beautiful creature." She said changing the subject.
Eliel - August 2, 2008 09:16 PM (GMT)
Eliel frowned at Stephan, disapproving of what he'd said. It wasn't her fault. Any person would grow sick and tired of hearing the same thing over and over, wanting them dead for what they were. Eliel sighed as he finished. He saw Sophie's glare and smiled a little.
“Thank you. It was no trouble, really. I grow sick of the people who do what he does, persecute everyone of a single race for the actions of a few.” He smiled pleasantly. She complimented Gwen and Eliel groaned a little.
Gwen held her head high and moved over to Sophie, sniffing around her, taking a new interest in her. “She didn't really need to hear that. She's got enough pride issues as it is. I guess it's a ca--” He was cut off mid-sentence by a huge plate-sized paw stamping on his foot. Eliel bit his lip and glared at Gwen, who merely sniffed.
“Right. Well, shall we go somewhere a little more comfortable, or just stay out in the street where anyone can hear us?”
Sophie Mist - August 2, 2008 09:36 PM (GMT)
Stephan frowned back, showing a threat deep within his eyes when Sophies were turned.
Sophie smiled as the cat sniffed her. She was a wolf at times and knew the way of most animals. Sophie kneeled down a little and put her hand on the top of the cats head and slowly bringing it down her back, strokeing her fur ever so gently. Sophie got up and smiled. "Even the proud ones need compiments. Yes, lets go." She said with a shrug.
Stephan stepped forward and held Sophie's hand firmly, he didnt intend to let this man take her away. She coudl be a powerful part of the pack. He NEEDED her. He stood by her as if he were a wall seperating the two.
Sophie rasied her eye brows. Stephan never showed this kind of emotion, EVER. But now she knew who he really was.
Eliel - August 2, 2008 09:45 PM (GMT)
Gwen rubbed into her hand with a deep, rumbling purr. She gave Sophie a nudge, which would usually be enough to bowl over most people. Eliel placed a hand on her back and scratched, not needing to bend over to touch.
Eliel noticed the look in Stephan's eyes gave him a warning look of his own. Eliel knew he was a drow, and wore his strengths openly, not hiding much. People distrusted him for it and Eliel knew it, taking Stephan's look to be a mere fatherly sort of protectiveness.
When the man seized her hand, Eliel's eyebrow cocked. Surely he didn't think Eliel would try anything? He had stood up for them back by the river a couple days ago and shook the man's hand. He was slightly worried by this.
“Do you not trust me, Stephan? I understand.” He said with a slightly resigned tone. “But shouldn't members of your pack have their own will? If they wish to do something, why stop them? My invitation was for all of you. Not just her.” He said.
“I do hope you aren't mistrusting me for the color of my skin, dear friend.”

Sophie smiled at the cat, she did indeed fall but when she was on the ground she patted the cats neck. She didnt mind all that much. "Where to?"
Sophie rolled her eyes. I'd make out with him just to tick you off. She said to stephan mentally. But I dont want my throat ripped out. They continued to walk, the cat with them and as was Eliel. They walked together in the crowd. they watched with wonder and awe. It was an amazing thing, they did not want to draw attentino to htemselves. They needed to seem less conspicuous and fast!
((short sad post I know, but at work.))
Eliel - August 2, 2008 10:09 PM (GMT)
Eliel looked at the people watching them and frowned. They didn't want much attention. He slipped his cloak on and sent Gwen off to the side, to walk through the crowd by herself. He smiled. She could take care of herself. She was a big girl.
Eliel looked at the pack, moving away from them slightly to make the crowd think he wasn't with them, pausing for a second to look at some wares here and there.
Eliel saw a tavern up ahead and moved nearer to Sophie and Stephan. Eliel pointed it out and nodded. “This will do. The broken strings are big and loud. We won't be bothered here.” He said from experience.
((I've gotta go :( post later!))
Sophie Mist - August 3, 2008 05:52 AM (GMT)
Finnaly they were in the bar, after a while people had stopped staring, two of her pack members had fallen back but Stephan still walked close to Sophie. Stephan opened the door and let every one in.
The air hung heavy in the bar and tavern. Fog held from smoking and out of practice singers stood in the corner imagining a better life with more gold coins in their small pockets.
A table was empty. Stephan sat and plopped Sophie down on his lap. He sent a message to her through his mind. You see, I am different from the rest of the pack. All I need is power. And I can feel it within your very core. Stephans skin became hot to the touch. He was close to morphing but kept it hidden well. Sophie tried to get up but he calmly held her down, in a way that didnt look conspicuous.
Sophie began to feel trapped and scared, their pack leader was an evil traitor. He was someone that needed to be replaced by another to lead that pack that held the right alignment. Sophie forced a smile on her face. "This tavern will give us privacy to talk." She said to Eliel. And I will deal with you later. She said to stephan silently.
Eliel - August 5, 2008 11:02 PM (GMT)
Eliel sat down with them and cocked an eyebrow at Stephan's action. Why not let her simply sit at a chair? Eliel passed it off, still quite suspicious of the man's behavior, keeping an eye on him. He noticed her try to move.
Eliel nodded at her words. Her tone didn't give away any sense of endangerment or any other such emotions. He leaned over to take care of Gwen and shot Sophie a questioning look, out of Stephan's sight.
Eliel returned to his original position, ordering an ale and a bowl of milk for Gwen. The waitress brought both and Eliel watched her with a smile, pouring a bit of ale into gwen's drink when the woman's back was turned. Gwen purred with a rumble and lapped at it gracefully.
Eliel chuckled and took a swig of his drink. “So how long have you been running?” He asked the two.
