Title: Faerie Fire?

Saeborn - July 30, 2008 04:01 AM (GMT)
Can anyone find what this spell does?

Thanks :)

Seems to have disappeared from the shops... Anyway, it outlines a target with a soft glow. Makes them easier to see I guess.

Melmoth is correct, but it has been removed from the lists. All it does is cause a soft light to appear around something you can see. Why you would need a soft light to shine around something you have to be able to see doesn't make any sense to me and it cost the same as the spell Light that could have anything glow with a soft to bright light.

Because it works on people who are invisible as well, not to mention in dark spots.

Actually, The spell Faerie Fire outlines the target in purple flames, making them much easier to pick out if they go invisible or such, much clearer than a simple light spell. Say you were in daylight and hunting something. If you used a light spell, it would simply blend in with the already present light, whereas faerie fire is much easier to pick out in any lighting condition.

And if this has been removed as a spell, should the Drow piwifwi's use of it be changed to a different spell?

Nope. You get to keep it ^_^
