Alice calmly walked trough the ruines of the ancient city, it was in the middle of the evening and the sun had begun to disappear down into the distance, the moon was shining weakly. She stopped outside of a great mansion-looking building. "Hmmm....looks like this is the best a lady can find in this ancient place" she said to herself, then she calmly walked inside, there was no need to break in the door since there was no door. Alice guessed that it had been made of wood but then time had done it´s work and turned it into dust.

She left a trail of dust behind herself as she was entering the building, but something like that would never stop her. She calmly walked further inside, she stopped in the middle of a large chamber that looked like the main hall of the house, ancient statues was standing a little here and there, traces of things that would have been wooden furniture could be seen to. "Well they must have had class in there time, but nothing last forever I guess" her gaze slowly moved around the room as if she was searching for something. She walked over to a door and opened it, on the other side was a small corridor going deeper into the mansion, Alice walked inside and brushed some dust of her long dress as she was walking.

After a while of walking she arrived to a small room shaped like a circle, there was furniture in here...still intact to her suprise. A table, a simple bed and a few chairs. The sorceress walked inside her her gaze moved around the room, it stopped at a mirror hanging on a wall on the other side, it was large and made of something that would look like gold, the demoness slowly walked over to it and tilted her head to the side as she examined herself in the mirror.. "Hmmm...No I don´t think I will need to hide myself anymore, let me take on something a little more informal" she whispered and then she snapped a finger. Her green dress changed to something a little more shorter but her cloak was still there and it did not change, her body changed and everything not perfect dissappeared so that she got a extremely perfect body.
The color of her hair changed from blond to darkest brown. But her eyes still had the golden color. But the wing was not there yet, the room was to small for that.

Cain held Cassie close to him, arms around her in a bear-hug. She squealed and kicked her feet in the wind, blowing against them. The two were flying, Cain taking her along as his passenger. He had promised to take her to the ruins ever since she'd heard of them. He himself had been there on several occasions, not all friendly.

He remembered the pleasure he felt, coming across a lone traveler there, the feeling of his blade-tipped chains, his steel tentacle, burrowing into human flesh and pinning him to the wall. Cain smiled to himself as they came to a soft landing, beating his large pearly wings.

They touched in a grassy patch, Cain folding his wings. He had left behind his usual light robe today, favoring normal attire. His platinum blond hair swung as he walked with Cassie, every aspect of him seeming near-perfect, save for the chain wrapped around his bicep, causing a bulge in the sleeve of the loose shirt he wore, a fine white shirt with long sleeves and a large slit in front. He smiled at Cassie, who was awed by the structures around them.

Cain chuckled as she pointed at a fairly large house. “Let's go in there!” She said excitedly. Cain nodded and she laughed, skipping through the front door. Cain followed close behind her, not letting her out of his sight for a second.

Alice turned around when she heard a sound from the entrance hall of the building. What was that? Anyone else that wanted to come to this place? The sorceress quickly changed back into her humanoid elf form with green dress and blond hair, she even changed the color of her eyes to green just to be on the safe side of things. One could never be to careful these days. When she was done she brushed some dust of her dress and sighed.

She could hear someone walking, no not just one....it was more then one...two? She was not sure about it but she would guess that it was so. Alice smiled slightly and then she walked over to a comfortable chair and sat down, anyone that arrived would never think of her as a wicked demoness...she of course made sure to use her powers to hide the fact that she was evil. She lean back slightly and took a deep breath, then she looked into the mirror for a moment and gave the reflection a smile, now she did not look that bad....on the opposite really, she looked very good.
She looked back at the door, now she would only have to wait for something to happen.

Cain - July 27, 2008 03:05 PM (GMT)
The two walked a fair ways into the house, having been bigger than he'd originally thought. Every once in a while, Cassie stopped to look at the statues. Cain simply watched her, looking around the room every few seconds to make sure nothing was there.

Cassie ran upstairs, into a hallway. Cain just reached the top step in time to see Cassie in front of a door. The little girl walked inside curiously. Cain simply laughed a little and followed her.

When he reached the door, Cain yelled out “Cassie!”. The little girl was approaching a stranger, an elf by the looks of it. Cassie looked back at him and walked back a little, waving at the woman. Cain watched her uneasily. Something was not right here. What business did an elven woman have in a place like this? Surely she wouldn't be here without some form of protection.

Alice looked surprised when she noticed the strangers, the first she noticed was the little girl. She frowned slightly, that was random. Her gaze then moved towards the man that had been yelling a second ago. She smiled when she noticed that the little girl was waving at her, "Oh, I´m surprised that anyone was going to be in this place as it was now." she said. "Thought I was the only one around today." her voice was calm but with a friendly tune. "Greetings to you strangers. Sorry if I scared you suspicious mister" her eyes moved to Cain and she gave him a slight smile that showed her perfect white teeth. "But I can assure you that I have no intend to do any harm to you our your young friend here." she looked back at Cassie and gave the girl a bright smile.

The sorceress did not know who these people was but she did not care, a good time to train her skills. Then it looked like she remembered something. "Oh how extremely rude of me, I`m Alice" she bowed her head slightly in a greeting. [color=green]"You have not happened to been seeing a tall man around the ruins? Luxurious clothing?" she calmly lean back in her chair as she was talking and her eyes now looked at Cain since he was the older one of them. Of course she did not think that Vlad would still be around the city but one could never know for sure.

Cain watched Alice with a suspicious look on his face. She appeared friendly, but in his experience, that was not always a good thing. He put a and on Cassie's shoulder and pulled her close. She said she had no intent of harming Cassie, but how much could one trust of a complete stranger?

“Cain.” He said, gesturing his left hand to himself. Cassie piped up “I'm Cassie!” Cain gave a weak smile at the girl, patting her head. He looked back at Alice, thinking.

An image popped into mind, his chain sinking into the flash of a man, pinning him to a pillar outside this house. But he was in peasant wear, and short.

“Perhaps. If I have, then he is dead.” Cain said simply, a rustling of chains could be heard as the dagger-sized blade attached to the chains poked from his sleeve.

Alice listened to him as he was talking and she was a little surprised by his words, could Vlad be dead? Not she did not think so. The vampire was far to clever to even start a fight just out of nowhere. Alice was not even sure if he was the type that even liked to fight. But she did not say anything about this. "Oh, well It might not have been him. Who knows if it could have been one of the undead around the ruins. Very uncomfortable really with them around." she shook her head slightly.

She thought to herself for a few seconds before she said anything else, then she began to talk again. "Anyway, nice to meet you Cain and Cassie." her gaze moved to a window and she looked at it for a moment, then she looked back at the other two. "The night is coming soon, will be quit crowded in the area during the night...if you get my point?" she stood up and walked over to the window, it was a good waive over the graveyard not far from the building. The sun was lowering itself in the distance. "The demonic energy still left after the cities destruction is strongest during the night. One don´t need a necromancer if one wants to see undeads in this town....pitiful creatures."
