Alice slowly walked down the street as a calm rain was falling around her, but she did not seem to mind it at all.
The sorceress calmly walked around a pool of water and lifted the skirt of her dress slightly not to get it wet.
The disguised demoness stopped outside the inn and looked at the door for a moment as if she was thinking of something, then she shook her head, opened the door and walked inside. She lowered her hood and looked around the room, there was very little people at this time...she thought it would have been more because of the rain..well better for her then. She slowly brushed some water from the robe and this reviled her long hair, blond in this disguise. When she was done she began to walk across the room, her eyes moved around as she was searching for a good place to sit. She stopped at a small table further into the inn and calmly sat down there. Alice stretched her back, took of the elven robe and hung it on the chair.
A man soon arrived to her table and bowed his head slightly. "Evening madame, can I get you anything?"
Alice watched him and her eyes moved up and down him, no he was to old to be funny. She smiled and thought for a moment. "Well I think I will have the daily meny please" she said, then man nodded and then he turned around and walked away. Alice sighed and closed her eyes for a moment. She moved one hand to her forehead and took a deep breath, she was really tired after todays journey. She would have to rent a room later.

Thomas ran through the ran, his footsteps light and quick. He was dressed in his rogue outfit, which was a black tunic and trousers, the sleeves to his tunic were longer then his arms so fell over his hands, then over his black clothing, he wore tight leather armor which was dark in color. His boots went over his clothing and went to his knees. On his hands he wore fingerless gloves. His hair was pulled back into a ponytail sort of, but lots of shorter strands of black hair fell around his face. And his eyes were pure black.
The rain fell lightly on him as he made his way towards the tavern, dodging puddles of water as he ran. He was never found of the rain, just like he didn't like the rain. He enjoyed hearing thunder and watching lightning, but when one is stuck out in even calm sheets of rain, it would get them somewhat annoyed, well, people like him anyway.
He slowed down to a walk once he made it to the tavern door. He wasn't even out of breath though. He slid the door open, and slipped through, stuffing the elegant looking pouch he held in his left hand into a hidden pocket.
He weaved through the tables looking for one to his liking, then found one to the wall. He sat at the empty table, leaning back in the hard chair, and rested his feet on the table, then pulled out a different pouch and shook it once to hear the jingling of coins before his dumped them out unto the table and started counting the few coins.

Alice waited for her meal to arrive, her gaze slowly moved around as she watched the others in the tavern. Mostly old people and none she really would find interesting...was this going to be a boring night for her? She did not like that very much, her eyes turned to the door when Thomas arrived, at first she did not really pay any attention to him and calmly looked away the moment after. But as he walked through the room she could see him in a corner of her eye. He had nice hair and the body did not look very bad either. Maybe this was not going to be a waste of her time after all.
She was interrupted when the man arrived with her meal, he placed the plat on the table in front of her. "There you go miss" he said with a smile. "That would be 3 gold please" Alice nodded and moved one hand to her pocket, she then did something with her hand and the man placed one hand on his forehead as if he had a headache. Then it looked like he remembered something. "Oh sorry miss, I forgot you payed before. So sorry about that, please enjoy your meal."
Alice smiled and followed the man with her eyes....idiot, he did not notice what she had done...it was nice to alter peoples memories and with small things like that it was no problem at all.
She looked at the handsome stranger again, she smiled slightly and carefully activated her charm. Not to powerful and just enough for him to get a slight interest of curiosity, he would never notice anything strange about it. He did not look like a magician so hopefully it would not be a problem with him later. She was bored and needed something to do.

Tom was soon finished counting his coins, he had a two gold pieces, three silver, and six copper. It was alright, but he had stolen and nice purse, and he knew there was at least five gold in it, but he didn't want to bring it out here, just in case someone would recognize it. He put his coins into his coin purse, and put it back into a different hidden pocket. Wondering if he should get some human food for the heck of it, even when it tasted like nothing in his mouth, but he didn't feel like that right now, seeing as he wasn't even hungry.
He yawned slightly, as he wondered what to do. He planned to go to a nobles house or, the leaders house of this village, and take a few things. Breaking into homes was nice and easy for Tom to do, and if anyone nearly catches him, it means he gets a good meal. He ran a hand through his damp hair, as his eyes scanned the room, looking for someone at least a little wealthy.
He then noticed a lady, and man went over with a plate of food for her, and Tom heard what was being said by the man. He asked for three gold, and Tom smiled slightly when the woman started to reach for her purse, but made a gesture with her hand that seemed familiar, and didn't even get the gold, the man now believed she had paid before, but he figured it out that she didn't, which means she has no money, or she has plenty. A small smirk slipped on his mischief face.
The man soon walked off, but Tom was still curious about the woman who had most likely used a spell. Then he felt slightly odd, and seemed more attracted to the lady. He looked away from her and shook his head slightly. He was curious about her, but he didn't know if he wanted to go talk to her.
He cursed under his breath then stood, walking towards the woman. The upside about this, he might get a chance to steal, and get some information. He smiled at the lady when he got closer, then bowed.
"'Ello, m'lady. Names Tom." He said. Everyone called him Tom, and he preferred to use that then his original name all the time.

Alice looked at him and tilted her head to the side. So his name was Tom? Well that was a piece of useful information indeed. Her gaze calmly watched him for a few seconds before she began to talk. "Hello Tom" she said with a calm but friendly voice. "I was not ready that someone would come and talk to me just like that. You must be my honorable knight in shining armor here to save me from the evil boredom" she smiled slightly and removed a piece of hair from her face as she was talking. "Since you shared your name so friendly I guess It would be very rude of me if I did not return the favor. I´m Alice Winters, but please just call me Alice."
It looked like her ability worked very well on this man, she would have to take things calmly from now on. To just use her charm was boring and it would be to easy. "Please have a seat Tom, someone as handsome as yourself should not be alone on a gloomy day like this one." she giggled slightly and calmly lean back in her chair, her eyes was still looking at Tom. Not golden and sinister today but green and friendly. She made a gesture at a chair next to the table. Alice thought this would be an interesting man, after a few moment she could see that something was not normal with him....reminded her about that vampire she meet in the ancient city a while ago. He could be one of them to but it was a later question and she was not afraid of there kind.

"... You must be my honorable knight in shining armor here to save me from the evil boredom"
Tom laughed at what she said there. "I may be able to solve your boredom, but I am far from a knight." He laughed, black eyes seeming to glint slightly. She seemed nice, but he wanted to know why he suddenly felt this attraction to her. He shook that thought away mentally to himself. The lady said her name, and he smiled again and bowed his head slightly.
"A pleasure to meet you, Alice." He said, then took a seat when she said he could, and smiled at what she said along with that. "And I'm still wondering why a beautiful lady like you is alone... seems strange to me." He said, cocking his head slightly. He looked into her green eyes a moment, as if he was searching for something before he leaned back into his chair.
"So, why are you here is such a little town?" To him, she didn't seem like one who would come to a small village like this unless she had business, unless she was a traveler, which he wouldn't be able to believe from her, she didn't look like a wanderer to him.
DornKoon - July 26, 2008 10:12 PM (GMT)
Alice nodded. "Well not a knight then, just a savior will do. The armor is not what makes the knight as they say" she said calmly and stretched her fingers, she took the glass from the plate and took a slight sip from the liquid inside. She frowned and looked down into the glass, then she sighed and placed it on the table. "Much can be said about this place that is good, but there homemade wine is not the best I have had in my life" she shook her head and then she returned her gaze to Thomas. "Sorry about that, I talk to much sometimes."
She blushed slightly when he called her beautiful and turned her eyes away. "The pleasure is all mine Tom, well I´m here alone because it just happened to be like it, I move alone most of the time. It´s boring and I´m happy to find open people to talk with." she moved a finger around the edge of the glass with wine as she was talking. She watched Thomas as he was talking, the way he moved and acted.
Alice thought about his last question for a moment before she replied to him. "Well I was going to meet a friend here, but I arrived a few days to early so I have some time to wait for her here." she made a pause and her eyes looked down at the food for a few seconds, then she looked back at Thomas. [color=green]"How about you then Tom? What is a handsome man like yourself doing alone in a small village like this one?"
Thomas Fey - July 26, 2008 10:44 PM (GMT)
"Much can be said about this place that is good, but there homemade wine is not the best I have had in my life"
He laughed. "Aye, the wine is not the best here." Though, he's never had it truly before, he's been a vampire for a long time, he forgot the taste o wine, but it was best to let her think him a half-elf, as thats what he seemed, except for his unusual pale skin, and strange black eyes. His pale skin came from vampirism, his slightly pointed ears from his elven half, and then the black eyes from his demonic half.
"... It´s boring and I´m happy to find open people to talk with."
There weren't many people that openly come over to talk, not these days it seemed anyway, evil seemed to prowl around every corner, luckily, Tom didn't mind the evil people, nor the good. He was on the neutral side you could say, though, if someone from either side tried to attack him, then he may be forced to choose a side to get revenge or something of the sort, but, it was good he rarely held a grudge.
"Well I was going to meet a friend here, but I arrived a few days to early so I have some time to wait for her here."
Curiosity tugged at Tom, for no special reason, except for his mere greed. Maybe this friend was rich. He loved the thought of gold, not to get wealthy or anything, he would never give up his life of thievery for a large home and elegance, he just liked to have gold in his possession. Instead of trying to get more information about this friend, he focused on what she said next, and smiled.
"Me? I'm here on business. And, not the ordinary business everyone would assume." He said. Most people thought he meant like meeting with noble people as business, so he always made sure to say something to indicate he didn't do that.
DornKoon - July 26, 2008 11:52 PM (GMT)
"Me? I'm here on business. And, not the ordinary business everyone would assume."
Alice nodded slightly. "I see, well I did not think you would be a merchant or anything. You don´t have the....what is the word...special way of talking like most of them has, as if they want to sell something in a normal conversation." she giggled and shook her head. "But now you made me curious Tom, you said that the business is not of the kind everyone would assume? Care to share what kind of business you are in?" She found this man more and more interesting, but she needed to know more about him before she could say anything for sure.
The sorceress calmly examined his eyes during this time, they where like pieces of coal or black holes. She liked to look at them but did not do so for to long since that would be weird to anyone. instead she moved her gaze around the room to watched the others there. Alice did not know if this man was evil or good, not that she cared really. As long as he did not do anything stupid against her she would treat him like in a friendly way. She calmly waited for Thomas to reply on her question. The demoness calmly took a bit from her meal, it had a nice taste.
