Some of you may have noticed an online Pokemon MMORPG ad which is now within the google ads section of the site. Clicking on the advert will take you to the site where you will be told that if you want to download the game, that you must download a piece of software called Zango.

Do not download Zango for any reason. Zango is very much like spyware and will infect your PC with pop-up ads (can be up to 15 a day) with the added bonus of downloading malicious software to your PC. If you want to download the pokemon game then do so through the official site, not through the google ads.

Obviously it would suck if you guys fell victim to this (as many people already have) so I'm letting you all know about this as soon as possible. If you have downloaded Zango then get rid of it and run a spyware check to repair any damage done.

Zango's a pain. I got suckered into downloading it accidentally like 6 months ago. I figured out what it did and got rid of it.
