Title: [P] A Visit
Description: Nightwind

Eliel - July 8, 2008 09:29 PM (GMT)
Eliel walked through the forest, Gwen by his side as always. She seemed content, judging from the feelings he had been receiving from her. She liked these excursions with him, The two of them simply wandering. He was out to visit a friend today, Sava.

He drew his newest blade, The Elven blade he had received in Istan, one of a kind. It was made by star elves, who rarely made an appearance, much less share their works. It's blade was long and thin, razor sharp. He enjoyed the sheer feel of it, how easily it whipped through the air. He was a little off with it, used to the comfortable shape and weight of his scimitar.

There was a hair of a difference in the way he used the two blades, but he noticed it. The thing was deadly, and he had never really discovered the enchantment it had over it. Perhaps sava could help.

He came out to the lake, looking around for his friend

Sava stood stock still. Two blades in her hands, in her right, was her comfortable, but destructive Lightning blade, and in her left, was her deadly blade of air. She then slid into a fighting stance, and swung her two longswords in quick easy movements, the blades slicing easily through the open air before her. She practiced like this for a while, while she waited for her old friend Eliel came, though, part of her wished it was Shain she was meeting here today, but oh well, they were both trusted friends even when she trusted the half-drow more.

Whenever she came here, she remembered the fun time she had with the half-drow assassin, but she also had many fun memories with Eliel, she liked the time in the cathedral, no matter how creepy that was, it had still been fun for a mini adventure. That seemed so long ago.

Nearby, where she practiced, were her pets. There was alight brown horse grazing, and near the horse were two dark umbras, one was older then the other, the other was still a kit. Next to the umbras was a small sleeping fox, Henry, Sava's latest pet. Untop of Felix, the older umbra was Blackquill, Sava's friend, that kept the dragon sane. Felix's head perked up, listening then,
"Someones coming.". Sava stopped her practicing, and slid both swords into there scabbards, then looked to see who was coming.

A smile crossed her human face, and made her way towards him.

"Eliel, wonderful to see you again!"

Eliel - July 9, 2008 12:22 AM (GMT)
Eliel chuckled as he saw all her pets, much more than those he had brought. Gwen walked on ahead, not minding Sava. She continued over to the other Umbras curiously, sitting a few feet away from the eldest and cocking her head to the side, still a kitten of an umbra.

Eliel grinned at her and sheathed his blade, seeing she had done so to her blades. He bowed respectfully, a smile on his weathered face. He had a couple wrinkles at the corners of his eyes, otherwise he was the same as he had last met with Sava. Of course, he had a whole new set of equipment, but that was another matter.

“Hello, Dear Sava. How have you been doing?” He asked, fiddling with a single gauntlet. He'd come to like them, using them more and more often. They were fairly light, not as heavy as most. They didn't need much material, considering that they were indestructible. They worked fairly well as backup weapons as well.

“Say, I've been wondering... Would you like to spar? I've gotten much much better. Not quite sure I can beat you, but I need the practice for the tournament.”

Nightwind - July 9, 2008 02:01 AM (GMT)
Felix stared at the other umbra, not sure what to really make of it, and growled slightly. Nive, the kit, on the other hand, jumped to her feet and trotted over to Gwen, staring at it with wide eyes. The only other umbra she had ever seen before was Felix, therefore, Niva was intrigued.

Sava heard the growl from Felix, and turned to look at him sharply. "Felix, be good, just another of your kind." She said to him, and Felix settled down somewhat. The dragon lady turned back to Eliel. She noticed he looked somewhat different, but herself, no, herself, she was the same as always, no wrinkles, nothing, even at her age, but it could also be because the drow was somewhat older then her, but no matter.

“Hello, Dear Sava. How have you been doing?”

She smiled. "Great, and young as ever." She said, grinning slightly. She adjusted her leather armor slightly, then looked at Eliel when he asked if he wanted to spar, and a glint passed through her strange eyes. "A spar? Hm..." She rested her hands on her two longswords, smirking.

"Well, thats sound wonderful, its been forever since I've done a friendly spar, I was getting sick of slaughtering all those foolish dragon slayers who wanted to fight." She said, smiling a little evilly. There was a slight change in her personality, she wasn't so reluctant to kill anymore not afraid of it, not really anyway, and she barely feared her nightmares that always haunted her of her mother.

Eliel - July 9, 2008 02:20 AM (GMT)
Eliel laughed as Felix growled at Gwen. “My, he's grown since the cathedral...” He chuckled at the Umbra. “A bit grumpy. Gwen's not that bad...” He smiled at the other umbra's reaction. Gwen stuck her nose up in the air at Felix and sniffed at the other kit.

Eliel smiled at her reply. “Looking it, too.” He complimented the dragoness. With a chuckle, he reached back and grabbed the gauntlets that sat neatly tied to his belt. With a quick movement, both were untied and he slipped the tough twine in a pocket. Eliel grinned at the gauntlets and slipped them on.

At first, they seemed much too big for his long, thin fingers, but after a second, the gauntlets shrunk and fitted themselves to his hands perfectly. He flexed his fingers, finding the gauntlets fine. Sava already knew about them, so he arched his fingers, willing them to extend the claws. The metal at the end of each finger extended and curved, forming pale golden-gray claws identical to the metal.

He retracted them and grinned at her. “Let's play by the tournament rules. No Magic. Just metal to metal. A test of skills. Up to you if we use enchantments or not.” He chuckled and found himself a nice patch of flat earth.

Eliel moved to the edge and unbuckled both daggers, his rapier, and his wand, also depositing several toys of his.

“Whenever you're ready.” Eliel said, drawing his scimitar and stretching.

“My, he's grown since the cathedral... A bit grumpy. Gwen's not that bad...”

She smiled. "Yes he has... its sad to see him so big now, and he wasn't always grumpy, he was quite playful before." She said, laughing. She watched as he put his gauntlets on, and as the claws extended then went back, she always wondered how those worked, but she didn't spend much thought on it thought. Tournament rules. She smiled.

"Very well." Was all she said, and walked towards a rock where her backpack was, then she unstrapped her spirit blade from her back, and her buckler, and her dagger that was around her boot, then a few pouches, then grabbed a thin piece of leather and pulled her long hair back that had been loose before. When she finished that, she made her way towards Eliel again, flexing her arms, then drew both her swords, smirking again.

When near, she went into another battle stance, then as he finished speaking, and as he drew his scimitar, she charged at him, swinging her lightning blade down, then up towards Eliel's side.

Eliel - July 9, 2008 03:19 AM (GMT)
Eliel focused on the battle, amused that Sava was so eager to spar and quick to act. He expected this, and brought his hand down to block the sword, claws out to cover extra area. He curved his hand to catch it, knowing full well it couldn't cut through or even scratch the gauntlets.

He stepped back and readied his scimitar, watching her carefully. She had two blades. He had his scimitar and his gauntlets. Fair enough. Eliel chuckled. His dark-accustomed eyes had a time seeing her in the reflected light of the lake.

Eliel watched her carefully, appearing to wait for her to make a move. He excelled in offense, but he preferred working on defense.

Eliel decided to make a move, diving forward with his scimitar, drawing back and beginning a weaving offense, blade whirling, sparkling with a black light in the midday sun.

Nightwind - July 22, 2008 04:08 PM (GMT)
He blocked her attack, which she knew he would, even the lower levels who did swordplay would be able to. She was about to swing with another attack, but Eliel attack with his scimitar at her. Sava used her Blade of Air this time, to nock the blade away before it could hit her. She watched as Eliel drew back, and weaved the blade around, and Sava smirked. Her lightning blade twirling easily in her hand.

She then brought her lightning blade up, and brought it down towards Eliel's right shoulder, sort of in a mocking blow, so if he tried to jump away or attack when she appeared to be open, she could easily bring the lightning blade down to block the attack, while she brought her air blade towards his left side.

Felix looked up, turning his attention from Gwen and looked at the battle going on. And the clanging woke Blackquill up, who started to make little screeching noises in annoyance.

Eliel - July 24, 2008 05:44 PM (GMT)
Eliel watched her twirling her blade with a smile, observing her every move, still now. He had power stored in his muscles, ready for any move should she attack. His scimitar was held diagonally to him, hand at his side, claws extended. He was enjoying himself immensely, but did not allow emotion to control his actions. In the battle, his mind ran on logic and strategy. The crossed scimitars and longsword mark on his own scimitar gleamed in the sunlight.

Her move was quite simple for one using two blades, making two attack from opposite directions coming in at the same time. His scimitar reached up to slap at the blade, gauntlet reaching out to seize her air blade, claws going to lock in.

Eliel curved the arc of his scimitar, still in the motion of moving her lightning blade away, bringing it in to hit her left side.
