Description: Weee, puns are fun! =.=

Gregory Faust - July 7, 2008 05:21 AM (GMT)
Grass...

Dry grass, brown and brittle...

Blood follows a mighty cough, and shatters the silence of the fields. The brown grass bends with a heavy drop of blood, and snaps as it is bent too far. Gregory's black hand pulsing in pain, to the rhythm of fear and his heart, and he used the pain to fight this unexpected rage. A shout burst from his lips and his hands hammered into the solid ground as he struggled to win, taken by anger like nothing he had ever felt.

His mind raced as he searched for the answer and came up blank. He couldn't remember what had happened, what had made him so angry. He didn't know whether it had been a thing of merely a few minutes, or perhaps months. The obsidian claws of his left hand scrawled deep gashes in the earth as it fought to dig, perhaps hide itself should Gregory decide it's the source of this madness. His eyes slammed closed as he bit his tongue and fought back another terrible cry.

His white wings trembled, and three pure white feathers drifted down to land around Gregory's scratches. Another cough, followed by a generous spray of blood and mucous, left the flowers dotted with red. His purple hand grabbed at a leaf, crushing it in his hand as he stood to regain his feet. Standing helped him clear his head and he stare at the sky while entranced within his own mind, searching for this lost memory. Never questioning where his godhood went.

A weak wind was blowing across the waste plains, the brown grass created a strange sound, the sound of steeps could be heard and something was moving the grass.
Alice slowly walked over the plains and the skirt of her dress was the things that created the sound against the grass. Her eyes was focused on the man not far from her, she had noticed something from far away, something that she found very interesting.
A feather from Gregoryīs wings was flying towards her and she calmly grabbed it, her gaze moved down to it for a moment until a wind came and took it. The sorceress followed the feather with her eyes for a moment, then she turned it back towards the ex-god of light.

She stopped a few meters away from him and simply watched him carefully, she tilted her head to the side. My he was in a mess, so confused. It made her smile slightly and she shook her head. She to looked up into the sky to see what he was looking at, but there was nothing. Then she bent down and picked up one of the flowers covered in blood, she watched it for a moment and then she dropped it to the ground again. She did not know for sure who this guy was since she had never meet the god of light or anything like him. But his mind was in a strange state and thatīs what Alice liked, she was not called the sorceress of madness for nothing.

She was ready if he would try a sudden attack or something but as it was she did not think he would attack, but one could not be to careful. She did not say anything since she really had nothing to say at first.

Gregory Faust - July 8, 2008 11:20 PM (GMT)
Gregory did not notice as he was approached by a strange skirted woman. His mind was far gone, searching the past for answers to the present. His lips moved silently as he worded himself through the actions, drilling his last memories into his head over and over, if only to see that he could break this barrier. His left obsidian hand flexed frequently, as if testing its strength. The wind kicked his tattered purple and white garments wildly, shaking Gregory from his day-dream.

His eyes bolted down to a girl in a dress smirking at him, and before his thought process formed he found himself armed and defending. An odd reaction and one that had seen little use in his days at the temple. He supposed it had been a while since he'd interacted with anyone outside of a temple, and that his body was just naturally on the defence. His purple eyes drew up and down the girl, deciding which method of combat she preferred. Judging by her lack of any defensive tools, yet her hurriedness to go investigate this situation led him to believe her a magician, and not any great threat to his strength.

It was then that the realization hit. As he looked at the girl and realized that his mind had told him she would be trouble, he also realized that since he had been a god, none but gods had put him on the defence. His mouth dropped and his eyes stared fixedly at the girl. Now he was reaching for something else within himself. He was feeling for the power that marked him a deity, feeling for the immortal strength with which the world was his to defend, and coming up dry.

" This. This can't be... " Gregory brought his hand closer to his face, inspecting the blackened metal that had been his bane. It now bore a large circular symbol on the back, a crescent of burning purple with a faint spiral twisting through its middle. As he stares at his hand in disbelief, he recalled the caster and his long silence towards her.

"Can I help you?" His once pure and soft voice now dripped with dissent, and had gone strangely deep.

DornKoon - July 8, 2008 11:59 PM (GMT)
Alice watched him and tilted her head slightly when he began to speak to her. "No I donīt think you can help me" she said with a calm but friendly voice. Her eyes stopped at his hand for a moment and she smiled. "But I think I might be able to help you instead" she looked up into the sky for a moment and then back at him, she calmly grabbed another of the feathers as the wind made it fly away, she looked at it for a moment and the she dropped it. "Look what the light have done to you, thrown you out just because they did not need you anymore. Sorry to say it but the same thing have happened to me" she shook her head slightly as she was talking. "foolish that they wanted to waste such a handsome young man."

She found this man very interesting, a creature of light that was falling down into the darkness, that was something not all could tell they had seen. Well she was going to use this in a good way. How nice it was, of course she noticed who this was....the great god of light, she had seen his pictures at the temple but never meet him in person before. She found it strange that he was going trough this? Well that is what made it so much more interesting.

The elf calmly stretched her back and took a deep breath, "But how rude of me, Iīm Alice Winters"

Gregory's eyes flicked immediately to the girls eyes. She offered help, and Gregory knew she would give nothing. Her eyes told the tale of wickedness akin to madness, if not an evolved madness. He saw evil, but rather than evil as its usual sickly appearance, it bore a mystical power to it. He sickened at the thought, and felt outrage for this odd evil. As he rotated into an offensive stance, the girl began the typical routine of seduction, and Gregory could not resist rolling his eyes.

"You're pathetic encouragements would go to better use on a weaker mind. If I so decide to ever let you speak again." He grinned wickedly, for probably the first of many times in his life, and he thrived on the pump of adrenalin that he felt for this fiery behaviour. The rage of his lost memory, confusion of his lost power, and outright annoyance at this interruption combined into an odd mixture.

A dirty white tunic, heavily embroidered and designed in purple, marked boldly with the god of light's emblem whipped in the wind, painting a macabre picture of the once-god with a blackened unicorn spear and twisted grin. "Perhaps a test run, to see if you're even worth my time?" a barrelling laugh crackled from his voice, and a purple glow began to pulsate around him.

DornKoon - July 9, 2008 10:02 AM (GMT)
Alice raised an eyebrow and then she began to laugh, she laughed and laughed. "pathetic? encouragement?" she asked, "My you donīt understand anything do you? Well that is not my problem, fallen god." she stopped laughing and tilted her head to the left as she watched him calmly. "You find me sick and twisted, oh yes I can understand that, but then what are you?" she sighed and shook her head.

She again raised her eyebrow after his last words and she watched him as he became covered in purple light. But she acted as cool as before. "Trying to control the darkness are you? Well that is so cute in a way, keep at it and move away from the light. But you have to understand that Iīm not the one you should attack handsome. You should try and keep your head cool for a moment." Things was going more then well now, he was reacting just as she wanted him to, she placed just a hint of her charm in the words, but he would not notice anything with all the confusion in his mind, it was just to calm him down a little. Because Alice did not feel like fighting at the moment since there was nothing in it for her.

Gregory Faust - July 9, 2008 08:05 PM (GMT)
Gregory merely smirked at the girl as she continued to babble, trying to pit the fallen angel against himself. The ex-god merely shrugged off her words as he considered how to deal with her. It was then that he noticed how her words dripped of seduction and lust, and his eyebrow cocked in question.

"My, my. I would have hoped as a moon-elf like myself, you would be smarter than all this. It's not that I find you twisted, it's that I find you rather clueless." Gregory grinned and stood straight, allowing his spear to drop to the ground at his feet. "Perhaps I will help you understand exactly who needs help." His lips continued moving for a few moments as the words to the spell of his choice flowed silently.

A small purple light blinked and replaced Gregory, leaving his spear. The same purple light a moment later placed Gregory behind his target. He stretched his obsidian hand to her shoulder and grinned. "Luckily for you, I have a deep love for my own people, and won't kill you." he began his deep rolling laugh again. "In fact, I rather appreciate your presence for a while. However, if you try to anything, I will not be very happy."

Slazhar Rex - July 9, 2008 08:24 PM (GMT)
Alice listened to him calmly and she raised an eyebrow when he blinked, "How rude" she said still calmly and calmly wathced his hand. "First of all, Iīm far from human as you would say it." she calmly turned around and looked at him again. "I never said evil now did I? I said darkness and that is another thing then evil I might add." she shook her head slightly. "Who needs whos help is a good question and we can stay here all day to talk about it. But I donīt feel like doing so....should be to boring really."

She giggled slightly. "Well how interesting that you need me then" she said with a calm voice. "Well I might be willing if you share with me what it is? I really donīt feel like fighting since that is so uncivilized and messy." she said this last part as a whisper. She was not afraid of this man and things was still going like she wanted them to.

((Sorry wrong user...again. :P Well it is still me after all. ^_^))

Gregory Faust - July 9, 2008 11:19 PM (GMT)
"I hardly need anything from you. You won't be fighting anyone, including myself. If you so much as try to fight anyone I will put you in your place like a disobedient dog." Gregory kept his hand on her shoulder as he moved to her side, and only moved it to rest under her chin, putting the moon-elves face-to-face. His hard purple eyes bore into hers as he struggled to use her appearance to remember what had happened. After only a few moments he sighed and slid his hand from her jaw.

"I have a friend who reminds me of you. Pretty and dangerous, a femme fatale, only you would have probably been the only one to ever cast any spell over me. I'm not much for poking around outside of my own race." He smiled smoothly as he examined the girl up and down. This was another ungodly feeling. A lust that years of celebacy would only fuel.

"I want this friend dead, and I want to do it myself." The words tasted sour in his mouth, and he immediately fell pale. He swallowed back the grit of vomit, and fought his pain. He had once called this girl his friend! His obsidian hand felt as though it was swelling with a painful fever, but Gregory showed no such display outwardly.

DornKoon - July 10, 2008 10:20 AM (GMT)
Alice watched him calmly and tilted her head to the side, "Dog? Now Iīm more of a cat person really." she said with a laugh. "I only fight when forced to do so....or when Iīm extremely bored."
She looked back into his eyes, she examined the colors of his eyes. He had nice eyes really. Purple was one of her favorite colors.

Alice listened to his words as he was talking abut this friend that he came to think about when he saw her. She did not know who he was talking about but she would most likely get to know that sooner or later anyway. She noticed his eyes as they where moving and it made her smile on the inside, she did not have to use magic here she noticed...just a little time. But she did not show anything of what she was thinking. He had been alone for so many years...one minus with very holy men. But that made them so much more fun to deal with. He would see soon, very soon by the look of things.

"We all have people we want dead" she said calmly. "I myself have a few I would like to see down into the dust" she moved some hair from her face and examined the others face carefully, but she did not see anything out of normal...well if one could count him as normal anyway.

Gregory Faust - July 10, 2008 09:44 PM (GMT)
Gregory bit back the bile rising from his regret, and resumed his focus to the moon elf before him. He scanned her up and down, taking note of her description and categorizing it among a guild he sought to destroy long ago. "That may be so, but the girl I want dead is quite powerful, and I'm not even sure I can face her alone. This would be why I want your help. I believe the girl is now a member of your demonic little faction."

He smirked and walked gingerly to his spear, picking it up lightly in his fingers and swirling it to its resting place within his never-ending bag. His feet thudded lightly on the ground as he walked back towards the woman. "Perhaps I may even find a use for you aside from my hunt. It's not every day I meet a new moon-elf wanderer. I am thinking you and me may even form something of a friendship as long as we can mutually accomplish our goals."

He paused for a moment, scratching his chin experimentally while thinking. "Yes, this can work. Count it as odd luck that I have actually taken an interest in you. If you help me to find this girl and destroy her, I will thus owe you an equal debt. Should your path get lonely, or you are threatened beyond your power then I may help you. I couldn't afford to let one of my vassals die or go mad."

"What say you?"

DornKoon - July 10, 2008 10:03 PM (GMT)
Alice listened to him as he was talking. "Well that must be someone powerful then, and you say she is in the guild? Well then can I guess who it is? Aether Drake right? Is that the womans name handsome?" she calmly examined his face as she was talking, to see how he was going to react to the name. She was pretty sure it was her...she only knew about her and one other girl in the guild so far..and Aether was the most powerful of the two of them.

She thought for a moment to what she would say about his other comments. "No I have not myself meet many moon elfs before you now." she began to say. " I have nothing against a friendship like you said it." she smiled and nodded. "Well Iīm sure we both will be able to accomplish out goals in the future...with a little help and some good works of course."
She giggled slightly and moved some of her hair in behind her ears.

She tilted her head a little to the side. "Well I will make sure to feel lucky then handsome. I have nothing against any of the people in the guild so far not that I really care about them" she did care about Erolam, but she never said that to him...why would she? "I have nothing against your terms so far, so I see no problem why I should not help you" she stretched her back calmly as she was talking and then she began to examine her hands. She made a pause and then she tilted her head to the side...how long had it been since this man had been with a woman before? she began to think to herself....he was a holy man before and people like them never had anyone. Not that she asked it...maybe later.
