Title: A Visiter

Aether Draka - July 6, 2008 09:08 PM (GMT)
Aether Draka had the paper in her hand as she walked up to the spot and then looked up at the tower. Was this the right spot? She looked back to the map and back up at the tower. It had to be here. It made no sense if it wasn't. With the paper still in hand she walked around to the large oaken door and rose her hand to knock. She paused then. What if she was wrong? Well, it wouldn't be the first time, would it? She frowned to herself and then bit her lip as she thought for a moment. She could just leave if she was wrong. She didn't think it would become a big deal. It wasn't like she was dealing with a god or something...

She took a deep breath, let her mind stretch out to bring the shadows to herself if she did turn out to be wrong, and then knocked. The sound seemed empty and hollow to her ear. Maybe she was just nervous, but she had never really visited anyone's house before, let alone a tower. She shifted her weight back and forth and then wondered if she should have worn something different besides a green bodice and wrap-around pants. She was wearing her shoes and her bag was on her hip, but still... why had she picked green? Perhaps no one was home... perhaps she should just leave...

Eliel - July 7, 2008 07:09 PM (GMT)
Eliel sat on the couch, staring into Gwen's eyes. He sat for gods know how long, waiting. He could be patient, this was new to her as well. Gwen, whom had been thought a panther, had recently started growing again, developing thicker, more fleshy whiskers. Eliel had identified her as a young Umbra, much to his surprise.

He felt something, a sort of connection with her. A color flowed into his mind, a blue, calm color. Eliel chuckled and patted her on the head. She purred and rubbed into his hand, equally pleased.

Eliel heard someone knock on the door, on the ground level. He got off his armchair and motioned for Gwen to follow. She got up, shook herself off, and followed him down the trapdoor and into the bedroom. Eliel walked over to the balcony and peered down. Eliel chuckled.

“AD, glad you could find the time to visit me! One second and I'll be down.” Eliel hurried down the stairs and into the living room, going to open the heavy, barred and bolted door. He pushed up the bar and freed several bolts, throwing open the door. He was unarmed, save for a silvery dagger hidden away.

“Good friend, come in, come in!” Eliel insisted with a chuckle. “What brings you here?”

Gwen walked over to her, a bit bigger and bulkier than when she had last met AD.
