Description: Open RP

A group of people was moving trough small tunnels under the city, dressed in normal clothes but all armed with different weapons. Some of them had large bags on there backs, bags with riches of gold and money. It had been a perfect place to hide in after a good days work.
The guards had never found them at all down here, not that any of them cared...The city of Lanterns was not very good with guards.
The group soon arrived to a door, one of them knocked.
After a few seconds the door opened and the group moved inside, the door closed behind them again right after. The room on the other side was large and shaped as a circle with piles of treasury around the walls.

Two people was in the room when the group arrived, one was a tall muscular man dressed in a luxury outfit in black with brown hair and piercing eyes, the other was a young woman dressed in a beautiful blue dress, her hair was blond and her eyes had a cold blue color. Both of them turned around when the group arrived and the man smiled. "My brothers, once again a good nights work." his voice was dark. "Place it among the others, then we will all eat together like the grand family we are" the group with men cheered and began to place there bags in different places of the room.

The woman smiled at the man and they smiled back as they walked past her to a door on the other side. When all had walked inside she looked at the leader. "This went very well, I´m impressed by your mens abilities"
The man smiled at her. "Well you must be out lucky charm" he said and placed one hand on her cheek. The woman laughed. "Flattering Amos, very flattering, but you know that will not work on me" Alice had worked with this group for a while now, they where stupid but they did there job very well.
They where very easy to control as it was, but it would only be a matter of time before the guards noticed something, Alice would have to leave when she found what she wanted. But she made sure to stay in this form, people would not know that it was her that way.
Amos laughed heavily, then he shook his head. "Your a strange woman, wont even tell us your name. Is the blue lady really all we can call you?"
Alice looked at him and tilted her head a little to the side. "Because I have my reasons Amos, you if anyone would understand that. I think you should go with your men and have something to eat, I will join you in a moment"
Amos looked at her, then he sighed deeply and walked away after the others.

Nicodemus - July 5, 2008 06:39 PM (GMT)
Nicodemus walked through the tunnels rather quickly, even for a man of his size. There was an investigation going on that had those on the case stumped. A man had been reported missing, a merchant that was a commoner in the tunnels. They had found the body, but it left little to go on. He was pale and glassy-eyed, in a state between life and death. His belongings hadn't been touched, not a single coin disturbed.

The guard couldn't find a hint of a wound, the closest thing a set of teeth marks sideways on the man's mouth, as if something had clamped onto him.

Nicodemus' quick stride slowed as he approached a group of people, who seemed to be talking to a woman. They left and Nicodemus grinned under his hooded cloak. He walked over to the woman and gave her a clumsy grin and pulled his hood down, revealing his almost featureless face and the noose about his neck. He had slits for nostrils, a slight bump in the center of his face for a nose, and a slit for a mouth. His eyes were two burning spots of golden fire-like light. All in all, it looked like someone had found a skeleton, put a little muscle on it, and stretched too-small skin over it.

“Hello...there.” He said slowly, sounding like he was struggling the words out.

DornKoon - July 5, 2008 09:21 PM (GMT)
Alice moved her eyes as the stranger arrived, she watched him when he walked closer to her but she did not move. She raised an eyebrow when the man lowered his hood but other then that she did not react much, she had seen worse creatures then that.
The lady tilted her head to the side and examined the stranger with curious eyes. Her eyes was glowing with a golden sinister light and one could tell she was not....normal. She calmly used her left hand to remove a piece of dust from the skirt of her dress, but she did not move her eyes from the stranger.

“Hello...there.”

Alice nodded slightly and smiled, it would have been a friendly smile and of course it was that, but because of her eyes it looked a little odd. "Hello stranger" she said with a calm voice. "I have to say I´m surprised to see someone in this part of town" she laughed slightly and shook her head. Her eyes move to the door where the men had dissappeared inside, she could hear them laugh and eat over there, most likely they would not hear anything at all. Her eyes then moved back to the stranger again.

Nicodemus - July 5, 2008 10:05 PM (GMT)
Nicodemus looked into her eyes curiously, staring at the gold. He was confused by the two sets of emotions. How could this be? Several thoughts ran through his head. He had heard of several beings in the abyss going to this plane to infuse themselves with the beings here. Nicodemus couldn't imagine doing such a thing.

“Well... not usually here...” He smiled at her pleasantly as he could manage without appearing as some strange monster. Which was a hard thing to do, as that was exactly what he was.

Nicodemus heard the voices and felt the joy. He shuddered. He preferred not to feed off joy. His appearance was directly affected by what he fed off of. Seeing as he usually fed off fear, sometimes of children, his form had grown to the appearance of several nightmares.

Nicodemus frowned. “You...Alone?” He asked, head cocked. His neck popped in several places as he did so. He did not know how such a question could come off to beings here, as he was not quite used to their customs or social manners.

DornKoon - July 5, 2008 10:25 PM (GMT)
Alice nodded slightly at his comment. This looked like someone interesting and she could have use of him...who knew. Her guess what that he was some kind of fiend, related to the abyss most likely. But there was nothing wrong in that, she knew many fiends as it was now, and it was interesting people.

Nico could not really notice two sets of emotions, yes of course there was two, but they where both so extremely close to each other that one could think of it as simply one set. There was other things in there to, like if her emotions was moving in a strange pattern....she was clearly not like others.

“You...Alone?”

Alice thought about his question for a second before she said anything. "Well as you can see there are not much people around this area." she said calmly and moved her hand around the room as she was talking. She did not seem to react much about his question at all. "The idiots in there is not what I would call company anyway" she looked towards the door and then back at Nicodemus. "How about you?"

Nicodemus - July 5, 2008 11:45 PM (GMT)
Nicodemus smiled as pleasantly as he could manage. He chuckled at her comment about the men inside. They did not sound careful about hiding their location, which would be wise considering their current area.

“I... am alone, yes...” He gave a little chuckle, a weak one, but a chuckle nonetheless. He was enjoying himself simply speaking with someone. It was very much different than trying o fend off an attack. His hand drifted to his side, under his cloak. There the skin was melted, bones poking out. He had been hit with a venomous bolt, acidic in nature.

The wound was nearly healed now, but the skin was still blotchy and differently textured, smoother than the rest of his body. Nicodemus slouched a little, trying to get a little closer to the woman's height to make things a bit more comfortable. He failed doing so, being so much taller than her.

Nicodemus felt something crawling up his leg, nibbling at his flesh. Nicodemus frowned and two fingers pinched it and brought it up. It was a centipede, dark in color and quite large. Nicodemus frowned and brought it to his lips and inhaled just over it, a pale silvery glow going from the centipede's body to Nicodemus' mouth. His eyes brightened a little and the bite marks on his leg went away. The centipede went limp and Nicodemus tossed it off into the shadows.

Alice closed her eyes for a second and then she opened them again, the woman calmly watched the stranger as he noticed the insect and picked it up. She raised an eyebrow when he used that odd ability. She had heard about something like this before, but she could not remember it right away. Well it would come to her in time like most of the times. She noticed that his eyes got brighter for a moment when he drained the centipede, he had to be some kind of vampire, one that did not drain blood but something else. But of course she did not say anything about it since that would be rude.

She really did not know how to start another conversation and her eyes slowly moved around the room, she calmly walked away from him and over to one of the piles with treasures. She picked up a goblet made of gold and examined it. "This people is not the ideal companions, but I have to say they know what they are doing really." she said and laughed slightly. "But then again we all are good at something, so I guess that is not surprising" she moved her gaze back to Nicodemus and smiled at him, then she dropped the goblet to the ground.

Nicodemus - July 10, 2008 05:37 PM (GMT)
Nicodemus noticed her watching him, not much minding at all. “Feeding... Vampire...” He tried to speak normally, but his underdeveloped organs couldn't allow him full use yet. “Feed on... Souls” He said wheezily. Nicodemus shrugged and smiled a little.

“What exactly...Do they...do?” He asked curiously. Better, but not perfect. He still had a long ways to go. “And what..are you... good at?” He chuckled, wondering what the woman before him could do. Nothing too much psychically, that much was for certain. She wasn't a normal human though, so she could do something.

“Magic?” He asked simply. He pointed at himself as if to say 'me too.' Nicodemus chuckled again.

“Bored...”

DornKoon - July 10, 2008 06:04 PM (GMT)
Alice listened to his words, he really had a problem to talk in the right way. She nodded slightly. "I see, so your that kind of vampire who eats souls correct?" she tilted her head to the side, she had never meet any of there kind before...how interesting really.

Her gaze moved back to the door and she shook her head slightly. "Well I would guess that they are eating and drinking something they took today...pork by the smell of it." she then looked back at Nicodemus. "Yes I use magic, your right about that"

She sighed and shook her head slightly. "Yes I´m very bored...nothing fun have happened in days...a girl can´t stand without anything for to long you know."
