Description: Open RP

Great, we are going to be late for class again, very nice Alice muttered as she walked thought the corridors of the academy, she had a large book under her arm with the title, To affect the mind, the young woman stopped outside of a classroom, she took a deep breath, then she knocked at it, nothing happened, then suddenly the door opened, but no one was standing there. Alice looked inside. There was no people there, but that was not unusual, since she was the only one studying the art of Illusions this semester. But she was surprised that she did not see her master, where could the old sorcerer be? She slowly walked inside, then suddenly the door closed behind her with a large sound, a man dressed in a brown robe was standing behind of it, he had white hair but no beard. "You late miss Alice" he said with a calm dark voice. "The lesson began ten minutes ago." he walked past her into the room, Alice sighed, then she followed him.

The room was not very big, and it was not much furniture, just a desk and some chairs, one behind it and the rest in front of it. The man walked and sat down behind the desk, he pointed at a chair in front of it and Alice sat down.
"are you ready for the test miss Alice? I trust you have been reading the book I gave you, because the magic your about to learn is not easy, the living mind is a complex thing, and there are none that understands it completely, not ever then gods."
Alice did not say anything, she simply nodded. Of course she had been reading the book, she had been reading it all night just to make it in time, this test was extremely important. Her master picked up a paper from a drawer, then he placed it in front of Alice with a green pen. "I will give you one hour to finish it" he said. "Remember that I trust you will get good grades on this one my apprentice"

Alice picked up the pen and looked down at the paper, it did not look that hard to her, she would be done with this quickly. She quickly began to write down the answers on the paper. she looked at the time when she was half done.....only 30 minutes left, she would have to hurry if she was going to make it in time. The name is not Elumin, it´s Ezlumina, we have to do this right if we are to get the knowledge we need. the voice said inside of her head, Alice quickly changed the answer and made it right, and that was how it was, the voice told her when she was doing wrong and even told what she should write. It was five minutes left when she gave her master the test. He raised an eyebrow and looked down at the paper. "Very well, I will take a look at this, you are free to leave, I will tell you when I´m ready"

Alice stood up from the chair, then she quickly walked out from the room and made sure to close the door behind her. She took a deep breath and prayed that she had done it right.

Aether Draka - July 6, 2008 02:16 AM (GMT)
Aether Draka had decided to investigate how the classes here worked for herself. She was apparently too late to start any classes from the beginning but if the instructor didn't mind, she could sit in a few classes to see what they were like. At least that was what she had been told. AD walked down the many halls and up and down many flights of stairs. Most rooms seemed rather busy or were completely empty except for the rows of chairs or tables and other such things. One room also seemed to have many plants growing in it, but that door was locked and she wasn't about to find a way in just to look a plants.

The small black cat still followed her around closely as she looked around. It seemed to be watching her with great interest. She paused at the bottom step of the stairs and turned to look at it. "Are you expecting something to happen to me here? This isn't Belfire. I don't even know why you are here." The only answer she got was it's focused gaze. AD sighed and decided to ignore the cat as she turned the corner to find yet another hallway. She went over to listen at a door and heard laughter. She stepped back and was about to open the door when she heard another door open further down the hall. AD looked over to see someone she thought she recognized some out and close the door snugly behind them. AD started toward the person and as she got closer she was sure she recognized the girl. She was the one who had been speaking with Manic when she had first seen them. Should she speak to her? Why not?

"Hello." AD said in a pleasant voice, with a slight smile, the black cat still at her heels.

Alice heard th steeps and then the voice coming from another part of the corridor. The sorceress turned around and noticed Aether. She just had to look at her for a few seconds and then she remembered who she was, it was that woman she had meet before, once when she was with that man Manic and the other time by the lake in some forest, she was the one with that group of demons Erolam was in. "Hello" she said with a smile. "I´m suprised to see you here...." she made a pause to think and then she nodded. "I´m not very good with names but I think yours was...something that would sound like Nether...Aether Drake was it not?" she tilted her head to the side and watched the woman, she was pretty sure that was her name, since like she said it sounded much like nether. She too liked Dragons so the Drake part was not hard to remember.

But why was she here of all places, well not that Alice liked to be here very much, but one could study any subject in this building. Even the dark arts...that was very useful if one wanted to know more. Her gaze moved down to the cat for a moment and then back to Aether. Alice´s eyes was glowing with the same golden sinisterness as allways. Not that they where glowing like lights or anything....they just liked bright because of the golden color.

Aether Draka - July 8, 2008 11:13 PM (GMT)
AD stopped walking and stood about three feet from Alice. She looked at her and then shook her head slightly. "It's Aether Draka. I'm here doing some research to help a friend out who decided he doesn't want to be dead anymore. I can't really blame him for that. At least he doesn't rot like some undead do."

She shrugged like it wasn't that important and that she didn't feel like it was her fault for him dieing in the first place. It really wasn't, but she still blamed herself for his death. Well, she was trying to fix that now, wasn't she. If only he would come to the school...

AD shook her head again and smiled, banishing those thoughts from her mind for the moment. "So, are you taking classes here? What are they like? What instructors have you had?” She closed her mouth then as more questions began to surface in her mind. Things like how long had she been here? Had she met Master Ace? Had she met Piter yet? What sort of magic did she use? Were there levels of learning in this school? Did she stay here? The list continued to grow and AD held it back as she waited for the answers to the questions she had already asked.

"I see, that is very nice of you to wanting to help a friend." Alice said with a smile. "Someone who don´t want to stay dead? Well that sounds like a vampire to me" she tilted her head slightly to the side as she was talking.

The sorceress smiled to Aethers questions and she calmly thought about what to reply. "Yes I´m taking a few classes here at the moment, I have been coming here a little now and then for the last years or so. Well the classes are great and I´m studying advanced mind related magic at the moment, trying to understand the living mind in a better way" She laughed and placed one hand on her forehead. "Well I have had many different teachers these years really so I can´t remember them all, but right now I have this great wizard, he knows so much about the mind and stuff, yes I know there are many others that is great to, but this man really thinks outside the box so to speak. The ancient magic was never about using incantations and reading from books. You can never get real magic just from reading an old book, one can learn it in so many other ways" she made a pause and giggled. "Oh I´m sorry Aether, I must sound really stupid talking like this."
