Title: The Long Desert
Description: Open to all

Shorik Arlion - July 1, 2008 06:13 PM (GMT)
It was a cool day in the Istan Desert.. So, basically, it was standard summer temperature if you were in Taras.

At the moment, Shorik was walking across the Desert. He wasn't in much of a good mood, either.
Dammit! I shoud've taken that camel! Would've saved me a lot of time... But fo course, I just had to think this desert would be a cakewalk...
The young man was travelling through the deserts on an Imythess-wide search for his real parents. Obviously, he hadn't had much luck so far.

Not too far off from Shorik, a caravan of goods was being chased by some theives. The young man looked up from the sands, and saw this. Curiousity reared it's head, and he found himself dashing at the theives, his sword drawn.

Nicodemus - July 2, 2008 07:11 PM (GMT)
Nicodemus rose up from his kneeling-position. The woman he had been feeding on simply lay there, a shell of a human. He had taken a part her very soul, simply sucked it away from her body. He left her laying there, staring up at the ceiling. She was devoid of thought for the moment, trying to repair what was lost. He smiled to himself and he walked out of the home, deforming the doorknob as he left.

The fiend seemed to float down the streets of Istan, not drawing a second glance. His cloak was wrapped about him tight, hiding away his skeleton-like appearance and the various other features. He exited the city and began walking, barefooted, through the sands. The heat seemed to have no effect on him. Sure, his feet were slowly cooking, but it didn't phase him in the least.

The vampire watched as he walked, long legs carrying him at a quick pace. His cloak was away, left forgotten. The tall man seemed to be a skeleton with some muscle wrapped around it, a thin layer of skin holding him together. The noose sat around his neck as always, a haunting reminder of the always-readiness of drow mages.

He spotted a form not too far from his position, he could feel the anger radiating from him. Nicodemus' pace quickened to a fast walk. As the man broke into a run, Nicodemus' predator-like instincts forced him to give chase. He just then noticed the caravan under attack.

Alice sat in the shadows of a large rock in the desert, her eyes was closed and her breath was deep. One could think she was sleeping. But she was not, she was just thinking to herself, but she could hear all the sounds around herself very well. She suddenly heard sound coming from somewhere behind her and she opened her eyes and looked up, but of course the boulder was in the way so she could not hear anything. The sorceress sighed deeply and slowly stood up from the sand, she brushed some dust of her dress and then she began to walk around the boulder.

She placed one hand over her eyes so that she could see things better and she soon spotted the caravan that was attacked by a group of people, a slight smile crossed her face. This looked like it could be fun to watch, she began to make her way towards the area. But she moved slowly and was in no hurry at all.

She noticed that someone was running towards the attacked caravan and she raised an eyebrow. Now was he not noble to do that, she moved her gaze and noticed that someone was running after him to...my it was crowded in the desert today. The elf laughed to herself and shook her head slightly. "and I thought this was going to be a boring day" she said to herself.
