Title: A Meeting by the Falls
Description: Private
Seregon - June 30, 2008 01:44 AM (GMT)
Séregon was in his wolf form. He had been sent to hunt a group of bandits. One problem was that he just couldn't find them. They were in the area, but there were so many places to hide, even from his sense. He was searching around the path up to the top of the falls for any sign of the bandits. Trying to be a stealthy as he could. He mumbled to him self.
"Why didn't I get my self a tracker. I am just not the best at this. Why can't I just thrust my blade through them and the gods know I need the money. Oh well I decided to do this so I will."
He continued to hunt around the area when he spoted something up near the top of the falls. He started to run towards it praying it was a bandit he could get the location of their base from. He was fast it shouldn't take him too long to get there. He losend his blade so he could draw it a moment if needed, but he really wanted to catch this possible bandit alive.

Fara're lept onto a rock jutting out of the water with ease. She peered down into the clear cool surface of water to see fish swimming around. Fish would make a fine meal.
She transformed into her tiger form. Her more paw like hands were much better than her elven ones for catching fish. She curled her tail around the rock she sat on, careful to keep it out of the water. There was no need to get more wet than required for this task.
She waited patiently for a fish to come near her perch. Once that happened she struck with her fast cat like reflexes. The fist flew threw the air and landed on the dry land. It was a small one, not quite enough to make a full meal.
Fara're sighed and went back to work. She would need to catch a few more fish before she could begin to cook them for dinner.
Seregon - July 1, 2008 11:29 PM (GMT)
As he approached he could see who he spoted clearer. 'Darn not a bandit' His employer hadn't mentioned feline creatures and he didn't think his employer would forget. 'Or would he....Oh well she may still have some useful information regardless and I would chase this one anyways wouldn't I.' He smiles a bit to himself.
He moves quickly until he is as close to Fara're as he can get. His eyes focused on her and his muscles ready to jump if she ran away. Then he thought it would be easier to capture her, if he could get her a bit closer. He smilled a toothy wolf grin.
"Hello there, would you mind comming over here I would like to ask a few questions."
Fara're - July 3, 2008 07:51 PM (GMT)
A large fish (one that was large enough to fill her belly that night) came close to her perch as the new commer arrived. She struck and sent the fish flying through the air. She turned to watch its flight to see the were-wolf stand there.
To her dismay was flying right at him and landed on his large snout. Well there went dinner. she thought with a sigh.
He then asked her a question. He wanted to come closer. Not a chance! She flattened her ears and bared her teeth.
"Beat it mutt..." she growled. "Can't you see I am trying to catch dinner. Which you just ruined that fish for me."
But she figured he would not let her get back to her hunting. Instead she turned around on her rock and sprang off. She caught hold of a tree branch and flipped up into the safety of its large limbs.
She sat on the branch and glared down at the wolf. SHe hated dogs.
Seregon - July 7, 2008 05:51 AM (GMT)
'Jeez what is with cats and trees' he wonders to himself, 'and that fish was just annoying. Now I really need to catch this one.' He watched as Fara're sprang up the tree in stared up at her with a glare of hatred.
"You know I was going to be nice and just ask a few questions, but by that reaction I see you are one of my targets and you had to hit me with a fish too. Well looks like it is the hard way to get you cat or are you going to come down and fight properly."
He put the emphsis on cat purposely showing his dislike of her at that moment and the remainder of the sentance has a tone like he doesn't believe she would come down and fight him properly like he said. He moves quickly with a howl to the tree intent on capturing this cat. While moving he equips his buckler and prepares to strike the tree with a powerful blow to knock the cat out of her silly tree. If that didn't work he would figure out something else he was sure of that.
Fara're - July 9, 2008 06:15 PM (GMT)
"Taget? What in the world are you talking about? I was just minding my own business when you showed up," she snapped back. "Now why don't you be a good little pup and go back to your master."
Then she saw him preparing to strike the tree. He could not be serious! With a sign she curled her powerful legs under herself preparing to leap. She waited for the moment he was about to strike the tree then spang high into the air and flipped over the dog.
When she landed she spun around to watch the mutt's reaction.
"Happy now? I am out of the tree? And what is with the howling? It really hurt the ears," she said. "Please don't do that again."
Her tail swished back and forth as she watch him. Her stance was one of perfect calm and ease. But she knew she could quickly spring into action when the dog decided to come at her. She even let out a long yawn to show her boredom of the whole issue.

"It's just what I said you turned out to be unfriendly and ran away now you are my target and I capture my targets. Also I am no pup and have no master besides my self."
Now he was even more annoyed at the pup and master comments, but slightly surprised by her jumping down. This didn't effect his reaction time to the move though. He spun around strait into a fast charge to take down his target.

"I will grant you that you are more honorable then I thought to fight me on the ground even for a little bit. As for my howl have you never heard a battle or hunting cry little kitty?"
'If she wasn't used to real fighters then all the better makes it easier to stun her.' He followed with another howl with a hint of excitement. Even if she moved he always changed direction to come after her. Again a wolfish smile on his lips whenever he gets close enough to atempt a grab at this creature.
Celebriel - July 10, 2008 12:28 AM (GMT)
"Little kitty?" she asked as she cocked her head. "I am a tiger. See look orange fur with black stripes. And yes I have heard morons doing battle cries. I honestly don't know why they do it. It is a waste of energy and it alerts everyone around to your position."
She then let out a sigh and he began to advance on her. He was a stubborn one. "I did nothing hostle to you. The fish was an accident...and you ruined my dinner. Why must you come at me like this?"
When she saw nothing was going to get through his thick head she shifted her stance a bit to prepare for a fight. Her ears went flat against her head and her golden eyes watched his every move.
Her movements were slow and easy her eyes not leaving him for a moment. SHe would wait for him to make his move, then she would react.
((oops wrong account!))
Seregon - July 10, 2008 10:33 PM (GMT)
He continued to chase his target ignoring most of what she said and focusing on the capture. His eyes rivited to her movements so that he wouldn't loose sight of her.
"I don't care little kitty, like I would believe you right now."
He closes in and launches a punch to stun the cat and a grab from both sides shortly after with the intent of taking her down and pinning her under his heavier body, but he was also prepared to miss. If she managed to get away it would mean she was a worthy foe and then he would get trully serious.
Celebriel - July 15, 2008 05:20 PM (GMT)
As he reached for her she bent over backwards. She placed her hands on the ground and flipped the rest of her body over. As her legs came up she kicked him in the face with both her feet.
As her legs reached to top of the asent she pushed off with all her strength sending herself into the air. With ease she twisted her body and landed softly on her feet.
"Always knew dogs were dumb...but not dumb enough to fall for that," she said dryly.
She crouched down onto all fours and began walking around like that, looking much more cat like now. She made sure she kept well out of his strike range as she slowly circled him. She was a hunter and would not turn into the hunted.
But she also did not want to waste her time with this meaningless battle with this foolish mutt. If it carried on much long she would just ditch him. She doubted it would be that hard to lose him.
(dang it! did it again! could have sworn i changed my account to the right one! *bangs head on desk*)
Seregon - July 15, 2008 11:10 PM (GMT)
The kick hurt quite a bit, but he smiled at the same time and quickly recovered.
'She is a worthy opponent. I will use it now.'
"I suppose I need to stop playing around now." He says to himself. "Now to end this."
He comes at her yet again his shield lowered slightly to protect from any attacks comming his way. He then launches a quick blow with his sword falshing from it's sheath. The draw was faster than most people's and often surprised his opponents. He knew he hit the cat, but was surprised that she was quick enough to doge the strike at least partialy. He howled again louder than before and started to attack with full intent of disabling his target. He uses his shield to ward off any counter blows coming at him.
Fara're - July 19, 2008 09:25 PM (GMT)
Fara're barely reacted in time to dodge his blade. He did not cut her, but some fur did go flying. She sprand back keeping herself far out of his reach.
"Watch it!" she yelled. "You could poke your eye out with that thing! And look you cut my beautiful fur! Besides what kind of dog pulls a sword on an unarmed lady?"
She knew she could still fight and potentially beat the mutt...but it would still hurt. And she was not in the mood to fight either. She was still hungry and night was falling. She wanted to try and catch another meal before dark. Time to ditch the fool.
She sprang to the side and flicked her hand at the were-wolf. Only a faint glint of steel could be seen and she threw one of her masterwork shuriken. She paid good money for those things, and for good reason too.
Her small weapon was aimed for his leg in and attemt to slow him down. With the move made she decided to run.
"Would love to stay and chat....but I have better things to do and play with pups."
Seregon - July 23, 2008 06:40 AM (GMT)
He barely saw the flash and then felt the shuriken stab into him. It did not slow him down at all though. He was tough and had been through more pain than this. He also knew what to look for now he would not be surprised again. He slashed at the cat again.
"You are no lady and the fact you doged that strike show you have skill. Thus I match with my own now let us continue this dance shall we... where are you going?"
She was fast as she tried to run away, but he had delt with this kind of foe before. He chased after her keeping pace and started to carefully move so that he could push her retreat towards the cliff. He made it look like he was still fighting normally, but every swing of his sword or shuriken doged or blocked was trully aiming her towards the cliff where it wasn't so easy to run away.
"A coward to top it all off I see." He yells as they get nearer to the edge.
Fara're - July 23, 2008 05:48 PM (GMT)
"Not a coward....just not in the mood to play with pups as I said," she yelled back.
"Uh oh..." she muttered as she saw the cliff coming up. She skidded to a stop right before the edge.
She looked over her shoulder to see the wolf coming. Perhaps this could be of an advantage... She stood to her full hight and took up a fighting stance. She waited till he was right upon her.
She waited for him to attack with his sword to side step and throw a block sending his arm out wide. She then grabbed the furr on his chest and held him tight. Her legs came out from under her as she rolled onto her back pulling the wolf with her. WIth a strong trust from both her legs she attempted to send him flying over the edge of the cliff.
Seregon - July 26, 2008 03:20 AM (GMT)
Surprise by the amount of strength this cat could unleash he fell into the throw, but by instinct he reached out grabing her as she atempted the throw and draged her with him over the falls.
Unable to keep his grip he let go leting the cat fall on her own. "Hope your happy, but you are a strange one a coward one moment a fighter the next. I will hunt you again if this fall doesn't kill me." He calls out as he falls away with a wolfish grin that seems to convey his feelings. He then swung himself while falling to sheath and secure his sword and sheild. Then positioned himself to dive into the waters. It would be unpleasent to hit the water in this fur, but well here goes nothing.
He seemed to be lucky and didn't run into any rocks near the bottom of the falls and into the lake. Splashing down he was pulled under the falls. When he surfaced he was inside of a cave full of bright crystals.
Fara're - July 26, 2008 04:34 AM (GMT)
Her eyes went wide as he grabbed onto her and pulled her off the cliff with him. As he let her go she drove a hard kick into him to get him away from her. Her claws drove into the cliff wall to help slow her fall. She grabbed onto a tree root sticking out of the wall to help keep her in place.
As she slowed and came to a stop she looked down at the wolf. "Yeah...what ever you say..." she muttered.
She shook her head as she saw him jump into the water. Dogs did like the water...why she would never understand. Her ears drooped to the side and her eyes went wide as she heard a loud snap. Her branch was breaking.
With a scream she fell into the water with a loud splash. A few moments later she dragged herself to dry land much less happy than she had been just 20 minutes earlier.
"Well...I guess I should get food now..." she said with a sigh.
