Title: Simple Tricks
Description: [p] Erin
Thomas Fey - June 27, 2008 04:17 PM (GMT)
Thomas Fey. Vampire rogue, and Furfur lover. This boy was always a strange one and only got stranger when he was changed into a vampire. But he was used to being a strange creature, after all, before becoming a vampire, he was a half-elf, half-demon. Then, everyone in the town he lived it mocked him, and wanted him dead. Tom seemed harmless to them, but still, one could never know with the demon born. When he became a vampire, he left home, and come to Imythess, and then to Taras. He's been here for three months.
Thomas walked down the small hall with all the rooms and then down the stairs into the main room of the tavern. He glanced about, and breathed in, but grimaced at the disgusting smell of alcohol. He hated it, mainly because only blood seemed to satisfy his thirst and hunger, but he still liked to try their food and drink.
He brushed past a tall plump man, who was laughing and drinking. Drunk, so hopefully, the man wouldn't notice Tom's thin fingers taking the mans coin purse. If only the rogue was lucky. The large man noticed, and roared in anger, he grabbed Tom's collar and yanked him back, making the vampire fall to the ground. Tom stared up at the man, as his hand slipped the pouch in a non visible pocket.
"Thief!" The man barked, then held out his hand. "Give it back boy."
Tom put on a frightened face, as if he didn't know, he tried to scramble away, but the drunk would let him. "I don't know what your talking about, sir. You must be mistaken." He said in a shaky voice, and held his hands open, to show that he held no coin purse.
"Liar. I want my coins back!" The man shouted, and kicked the boy in the gut.
Tom rolled over, gasping, then glaring at the man. He jumped to his feet, and as he did, swept a foot under the drunks, knocking him over. Then a dagger suddenly appeared in the rogues hand, and he brought it close to the mans throat.
"Like I said. I don't have it." He stood, and walked away from the drunk laying on the ground, sliding his dagger back into its hidden scabbard, then he pulled out then coin purse, opening it, and started to count the coins.

Erin walked down the street outside of the tavern, she was a bit tired and hungry, would be nice with some food to eat. She was just about to enter the building when she heard noise from the inside....like there was a fight inside, she stopped and listened for a moment, but then it suddenly stopped. She sighed deeply and then she slowly opened the door and walked inside. She did not see anything that looked like a fight or anything, just a fat man on the floor in one part of the room, he did look very drunk and she shook her head slightly.
Well better find a table, that was not hard since there was not much people in the tavern today, the storm kindler slowly made her way across the room to a table next to the window, she sat down and closed her eyes for a moment. She calmly moved the hair behind her ear, it had been a long day for her.
A man walked over to her table and gave her a slight smile. "Can I get you anything miss?" he asked and Erin opened her eyes and looked at him. "Well some hot goats milk would be nice, and the daily special." she said and the man nodded. "Right away miss" then he walked away, Erin followed him with her eyes but then she moved her gaze to the window instead.

Thomas walked towards a empty table, but stopped and looked towards the door when a young woman came in, that looked to be around his age, well, in human years anyway, but that wasn't what caught his attention about her, it was how she was a genasis. Tom hadn't seen many of their kind around here, well, maybe a couple, but he was still amazed how they were related to the elements, he would love to give up his half-elven part to be part genasis, and she was pretty.
He stuffed the stolen coin purse into a hidden pocket again, and walked towards the girl, when he reached her table, he bowed to her, in a almost noble mocking way, but it was hard to notice.
"Hello, m'lady. My I have the pleasure of sitting here?" He asked, then straighted up. It was clear that he was a rogue, he looked like one. Nimbly built, and wearing tight leather armor, and when he walked it was oddly quiet. His black hair hung loosely on his shoulders behind his pointed ears.
((OOC: sorry its a tad small...))

Erin turned her attention to the stranger when he began to talk to her. She was a little surprised since there was many other tables, happily surprised of course. It was always nice to have someone to talk with. It did not look like he was much older then what she was. "Well I see no reason why not, do have a seat" she replied with a smile. "Always nice to have someone to talk with."
Her gaze calmly examined him as she was talking, she could see right away that he was the sneaky person, reminded her about a man she meet in the desert once. But she had nothing against them at all, most of them was really nice people when you got to know them better.
The man from before returned with a plate with food, he calmly placed it on the table in front of the storm kindler and she gave him a smile. "Thank you" she said and he nodded. "Not at all miss, I hope you will find the dish to your liking."

He smiled at the genasis, and pulled out a seat, and sat back in it, relaxing in it. He watched the girl a moment, before introducing himself.
"My names Thomas, everyone calls me Tom though." He said, bowing his head slightly, then looking at the girl again. "May I have your name?" Tom didn't speak to many people, and no one really spoke to him, even when they couldn't see his demonic half, only when he's hungry though, luckily, he didn't crave blood at the moment. He ran a hand through his hair. A man came over giving the lady what she had ordered before, and he turned to Tom, wondering if he wanted any, but the vampire waved his hand, basically saying he didn't want anything, after all, it tasted like ash in his mouth anyway.
"Your a genasi, right?" He asked. "I haven't seen many around, maybe one here and there, but still, I don't believe I've seen one like you."
He reached into a pouch and pulled out his Furfur, because it was making its growling noises when hungry. He strokes the creatures fur, then pulled out a piece of hard candy, and set it on the table, and the puff of fur jumped at it, and devoured the candy quickly, before someone would try to take it. Tom smiled at the Furfur, then returned his attention to the Genasis.

Erin followed him with her eyes as he sat down, she smiled and nodded when he told her his name. "Nice to meet you Tom, my name is Erin." she calmly picked up the glass with goat milk and took a sip from it. Her gaze moved around the room for a moment, but then it returned to Tom again. She placed the glass on the table again.
She raised an eyebrow when he asked her if she was a genasi, well of course she was that but it was not common that people asked it right out. Well someone had to be the first one then. She smiled and nodded slightly. "Yes that is correct, I´am a genasi. To be exact I´m an air genasi. They are not very common and I´m not surprised that you haven´t seen many like me before." she moved some of her hair from her face as she was talking.
She watched him as he picked up the little Furfur, she smiled when she saw it but she did not say anything and her gaze returned back to Tom again.
