Today starts off the month long Imythess Five Year Birthday Bash. Several contests will be posted up through the day, which will include an art contest, banner contest, tournament sign ups, and a top five role-player contest.

For those who do not know, Imythess was created on July 5th, 2003. We have been running active for five full years. This is a huge marker for us, and we will be doing our best to provide you with several fun things to do. Free prizes will be given out randomly and parties in some of the main forums will be a way to celebrate this occasion In Character.

I hope everyone is excited about this, because I know I am!

On a side note:
A plot is going to be moving forward soon, and will start off with the Gods being removed. I know lots of you have applied for a deity position, unfortunately, no more applications will be accepted at this point. There are several reasons for this. The first and foremost is that the gods are not active. The reason for this is because when a member becomes a god, they feel they have won the game and do not have to do anything else. The gods will be going under major construction and hopefully will come back better then ever before.

Any questions about this will gladly be answered.

The system will change so that the gods will have some sort of objective for being a god. At the moment, the gods don't do much so we're going to change all that ^_^

The tourney will have much ownage, but for the most part I think I have it predicted. Only time will tell if I'm right.
