Shadeen ran at full speed through the ruins, pushing branches out of the way as she hurled full speed towards escape. She could feel her heart pounding in her chest as she ran. The world was a blur around her and she could still hear the thunder of footsteps behind her. It could have just been her imagination but she continued to run barely looking back or even forwards. She eyes were half closed, scared to see what would happen next.
It had only been a few minutes ago. She was exploring the ruins, looking for interesting things or even just something to do. Then they had surrounded her, the man in their center seeming to control them. The undead advanced on Shadeen before she turned and ran. She could almost feel the wicked smile cross the man’s face before he pursued.
Shadeen didn’t even feel the stone beneath her feet. The next thing she knew she was falling towards the ground. She held out her hands to stop herself, terrified that she had lost precious time.
Something was moving on the other side of the area, but it was quickly gone again and the only thing that would have been seen was a dark shadow and a quick hint of red color. The shadow appeared again on top of a building, but it was gone again a few seconds after. The undead did not notice it since there orders was to run after there pray. Undeads was good but stupid.
The red eyes followed the running girl but the gaze moved back to the following undeads to. He would have to do something....why did he have to do anything? Well it had to do with his bodyguard job...he was used to protect others.
He jumped down from a roof and climbed onto another one. He kept himself out of sight but with an eye on everything.
Slazhar noticed that the young lady feel to the ground, she must have tripped on something. The fiends sighed and then she made himself ready as the undeads was closing in. He quickly jumped out from the roof down onto the ground right in front of the lady. He was holding his weapon and reacted quickly and swiftly when the first undeads came charging.
Slazhar gave them a series of powerful hits, sending them backwards into the once behind. Then he placed himself into a defensive stance and waited. He did not look at the woman and she could see very little of him since the red robe was hiding most of him. But he was very much taller then what a normal creature would be.
Takrii walked through the dense forestatin, looking for a certain artifact, rumored to have been made by Balmung of the Crimson Winds. A long sword, slightly curved, rumored to rend the air with each stroke. He pushed through the thick foliage, when he heard the distinctive moan of the undead. He gripped his spear, and rushed through the foliage before him. He saw a man, or, it looked like a man, he couldn't see it well through it's cloak.
He swung up his spear, and it ripped through the face of a zombie, hitting a hard, lump, its control stone, and exited its face, and it collapsed. He ran it through the closed undead's chest, and drew it back out. He whipped out his spellbook, and flipped to a page emblazoned with an arrow ensignia. He flicked his hand out, flicking to three zombies in his path. The arrow shaped blast shot out, and made the undead fall to their knees.
He turned to the two, and said, "You look like you need some help. Mind if I help out?" flapping his wings as he spoke. He swung his spear to the man wearing a crimson robes, emblazoned with a grinning skull.
