Title: [s] Artists Palette

Donner - June 9, 2008 04:54 PM (GMT)
The Artists Palette board is adding to our total post count when we post there. Getting paid outside of an RP.

Might want to consider changing that.

actually, might it be intentional? seems fair we get gold for submitting artwork and stories for the public

But for commenting too?

Perhaps a bounty system would be in order? Imy rates your work, and after a set time you get paid based of the ratings?

Are you suggesting Members rate your work? Well if members rate it, the majority would be friends. In which case it would simply increase your rating higher than it would probably be with strangers who really didn't know you. Also you have the factor of people not liking you having a chance to degrade your work for that simple fact. And drop your score. Now if you're suggesting moderator/admin groups.......That would be an utter waste of time for them. Sorry to say that, but they have enough on their plates. Moderators not so much as the Admins, but regardless...You get the picture.

Thanks for pointing that out Donner, you're a star. ^_^

As for the rate-my-work thing, I don't think it would work out for pretty much what Alaina pointed out... though I would like to add in that every member I've come across here is quite mature and wouldn't do something as silly as lower someone's score just because they've rubbed the wrong shoulder with that person.

Just suggesting alternatives, Alaina. Eliel had a point that the artists themselves may be entitled to gold rewards. I don't know.

Just doing my thing, Roth.

I'll talk to Veronna about it, but I suspect that any reward would be in the form of a competition.
Once again, thanks for pointing it out.
