DornKoon - June 2, 2008 08:09 PM (GMT)
Alice slowly walked outside of the great temple of light, she came closer to the gates inside and she could see a group of paladins standing outside. But she did not mind them since she was not here to fight today, she had not been here since Eric died and that was a very long time ago from this day. Her gaze moved up towards the great cathedral as she walked. The paladins looked at her but they did not do anything, Alice guess was that she looked so pure and they did not bother check her with magic. The woman had a serious face for once because the aura from the temple was burning slightly on her darkness, but she was okey. One good thing was that the holiness from the temple suppressed the demon inside of her, she was more free now. But she knew that would not last, her heart was one with the darkness now and she accepted it. She was not here to seek the light.

She arrived so a small courtyard but she stopped before entering it, the sorceress took a deep breath and placed one hand on her chest, she had to gather what courage she had to force herself to go further. Very slowly she began to walk further into the yard, it was covered in white flowers and statues of warriors and different animals. But it was like Alice walked in a world of her own, she did not look to the sides even once. Some people was in the yard but she ignored them completely she acted like they where not even there. Some of them looked at her but soon continued with what they where doing

Alice stopped when she arrived to a statue made of white marble of a young paladin with large paladin armor. She looked at it for a few seconds and it looked like she was going to run away, but she forced herself to stay. "Hey" she said with a low voice. "Itīs me, Alice" she walked closer to the statue and placed one hand on itīs cheek. She did not say anything she simply looked the statue in the face with her golden eyes, she took another deep breath and lowered her hand again. "I have changed have I not, I still remember what you said about living my life even when you where gone from me, but I can tell you that things did not work out as I had thought it would. The pain was to great and I was weak." she turned away from the man and placed one hand on her forehead. "Oh Eric, I came here to say goodbye, I know we promised to see each other in the next world. But Iīm afraid I will break my promise."

She was quiet for a moment before she continued. "I have done many things you would not have liked at all, and I do not regret them for some reason, I feel no remorse to the people that have suffered around me during this time. I will not go to heaven like you." she turned back to the statue again and smiled weakly. "But I will make you one last favor, I will sing the song you loved so much, the lullaby granny used to sing for us when we where kids. I know you remember it because it was the last thing you heard in this world when you asked me to sing it for you. I will sing it to you one last time."

Slowly she began to sing and her voice was low and weak at first, but then it grew stronger and all the people on the yard turned to look at her, some of them smiled because it was a nice song. In ancient elven language. Even some people looked out from the windows of the temple. But Alice ignored them and tears began to gather in her face as she was singing. She missed him very much but the light was not her world and it would never be. But she was happy to have come here one last time, one last visit.
