Aether Draka - June 1, 2008 05:44 PM (GMT)
The afternoon sky was clear for the most part. A few clouds off to the west, over Taras or further out to see no doubt. There was a small clearing here, a few logs, fallen trees that made this open spot. One lay on the shore and was mostly dry and seemed to have served as a seat for whomever had made a campfire in this open spot. The ashes still marked the spot. On the far side was a much larger tree, one that was hollowed out and was tall enough to stretch out into the water of the lake a good six feet or more before submerging. It stretched out even further under the water. A few branches that were log enough and survived the fall stuck out of the water, hollow and bare of all life.

Why she decided to visit this spot wasn't pure whim. She was looking for something, though she doubted it would be here. It could be anywhere around the entire edge of the lake. But this place, this place she was familiar with. This was the place she had visited next, right after Taras, when she had first arrived here.

She was dressed in green and black, her boots on and her cloak about her. She had no weapons around her waist, but a small pouch on her hip. Her doeskin bodice and pants were the same deep green while her boots, cloak, and belt were all black. Her hair was tied back with a wide black ribbon also. She walked across the open space and hopped onto the log, walking out over the water to where the log became submerged. There she knelt down and looked out over the water. It had been here that Lynthaer died.

DornKoon - June 1, 2008 05:59 PM (GMT)
A young woman walked trough the trees of the forest, dressed in a green beautiful dress made of some soft elven fabric. Her gaze was fixed forward and she did not move it much as she walked, the wind blew trough the trees and made her blond hair float slightly as if it was alive.
She had the wand hidden inside of her sleeve if someone would attack her, with bandits running around in the woods. Not that she was afraid of them, most of them could never use magic and would not be a problem to the sorceress powers. But better safe then sorry.

After a few minutes she could see the lake further in front of her, she did not know that anyone was there. But as she came closer she noticed someone walking around there, at first she did not see it clearly, but as she came closer she could see that it was a woman.
Who could that be? It was hard to see it from over here and she would have to walk closer. Not that she was afraid, Alice was not afraid of much in imythess, that would be light and some other things she did not want to think about.

She stopped when she arrived to the open space with the old camp fire place. Her eyes moved and stopped on the old campfire for a few seconds and then she moved the gaze to the lady on the log. She slowly moved some hair that was laing in her face, but she did not move her gaze from the stranger. The elven woman did not speak since she did not know what to say.

Aether Draka - June 1, 2008 06:35 PM (GMT)
The wind stirred and sent ripples across the surface of the lake and sent the leaves dancing in the trees. AD turned her head at a sound that didn't seem to fit and saw a woman not far off. Her emerald eyes seemed to look not only at the woman, but either past her or deeper in her, but only for a second. Then Aether Draka turned around completely and tipped her head slightly to the right.

AD was starting to get used to her powers, but she wasn't that sure with them yet. She was still testing them. The woman before her was insane, and infused, and it may be rather interesting to have her come with the guild to Taras. She doubted Lynthaer would mind another member. Not with how some of those she had spoken with so far didn't seem to care one way or the other. Demons were like that though, fickle sometimes. Not that it was really a problem, but AD was not going to do anything to help those who didn't seem to care about the Divschatten. That was their loss though. She didn't see the use of demons who did nothing. Perhaps though, she would be interested...

"Hello. Can I help you with something Lady Alice?"

DornKoon - June 1, 2008 06:47 PM (GMT)
"Hello. Can I help you with something Lady Alice?"

Alice was surprised and AD could see that because she raised her eyebrows slightly. This woman sure had some useful powers if she could tell that just by looking at her. "Hello, so then I guess I will not have to tell you my name" she said and her voice was calm but with a slight trace of interest in it. "I was a little surprised that you knew my name, you must have some useful abilities up your sleeves" a smile crossed her face when she said the last part, and there was a slight flash of gold in her eyes. "Well I do not know anything at the moment that I would want help with" she tilted her head a little to the side and examined the woman in front of her. "I´m sorry, but I do not have your ability so I think it would only be fair if you told me your name since you know mine."

There was a slight laugh in her mind as always when the demon wanted something said. "She sure have something in her head, we can see that can´t we?" it said. "I might want to have a word with her when we know she can be trusted." Alice did not reply to this, she was used to her other voice, and she still did not know for sure what it was, but something had started since the warped angles sign had appeared on top of her hand she began to understand much more then before, But still not all.

Aether Draka - June 1, 2008 07:04 PM (GMT)
Aether Draka walked up back up the stump easily, not even seeming to bother keeping her balance. She hopped off the stump, bending her knees to take any impact of her landing, before straightening up. She smiled, a true smile that reached her eyes and not a false one so many seemed to offer.

This one, she was more confused then AD often felt she was. There was a demon there though, she could tell by the mark on Alice's hand. There were enough infused demons in the Guild to make it incredibly obvious even without the strange power she quite didn't have the grasp of yet. It had been right though, about her name. AD held back the urge to ask why she had gone looking for Seele and when her friend had become a god. She thought it would be best to ask Rith though. That was who she had met there after all. Rith and Seele, she should see if she could find them. Not now though. She didn't think she had time before she needed to meet with the Guild in Taras. After that perhaps...

"I'm Aether Draka, Second of the demonic guild known as the Divschatten. Not many heave heard of us yet, but we are about to make ourselves heard soon enough." Her smile didn't leave her face at that comment. It was something she was over all very happy about.

"I'm Aether Draka, Second of the demonic guild known as the Divschatten. Not many heave heard of us yet, but we are about to make ourselves heard soon enough."

Alice nodded. "How very nice to meet you Aether Draka" she said with a smile. "So the Divschatten? A demonic guild? Well it sure sound like there might be some good looking demons in there?" she laughed and moved her gaze to the sky. "Remind me of a wonderful demon I meet some time ago in Taras, oh that was the man for me. Erolam was his name, so powerful and with that look in his eyes. I will make sure to find him again." she looked back at Aether and smiled again. "Ever heard of him?" her eyes examined the woman calmly, if she was in a demonic guild then it was possible she knew about Alice demon friend.

((This was a little short, but posts can be that a little now and then. :P))

Aether Draka - June 1, 2008 07:53 PM (GMT)
She did know about Erolam, in fact though, he seemed to be one of the few who she had only known in passing. There was no major reason for AD to have ever spent any time with him and it had been Lynthaer who had had him join. Ironically AD had been the one to recruit the other female in the guild. Perhaps it was just chance, or was the guild master avaoiding speaking with other females with demonic ties. She smiled slightly at that thought. She would ask him, though she doubted she would find him before their meeting time. He was a bit busy with something else it seemed.

She would worry about that later. She had time now, and it seemed that this elf had an interest that AD might not agree with but wasn't in the mood to debate. She shrugged slightly and reached into her pouch.

"Yes, Erolam is part of the Divschatten actually. We plan on having a little get together in Taras, not far from the main gate, in about two days. Not sure how many would be interested, but he did seem to like the idea."

Aether Draka pulled out a tiny dragon from her pouch who lifted his head and looked at AD and with a little bit of a yawn sent her the telepathic message, "Morning?"

DornKoon - June 1, 2008 08:15 PM (GMT)
Alice listened to Aether when she talked and she was not surprised that she knew about Erolam, she was not surprised that he was a part of the guild to. He was a demon after all. Now this was starting to be interesting for the sorceress, she had been looking for people to ally herself with. Since Seele was no point at the moment she would have to think about them. A guild was a great ide.
"I see I´m not surprised at all that he is a part of your guild" Alice said with a slight grin. "I have to say your guild sounds like something, have not heard about it I tell you that. But then a secret group is not very easily found if you get my drift?" she giggled. Then she stretched her fingers and examined her nails for a few seconds. "Would be nice to see dear Erolam again, to long has it been since I meet him."

She looked at Aether again and was a little surprised when she picked up the tiny dragon. "Well well, what a cute little dragon you have there" she smiled at the dragon and moved her gaze to Aether again. "I have not seen a dragon for five years now, they sure are beautiful creatures."

Aether Draka - June 1, 2008 08:31 PM (GMT)
"You have to be either infused with a demon or have demonic blood to join the Divschatten. You can't get past the passage into the Abyss unless you are. That's where the guild hall is after all." She looked down at Turin then and grinned.

"Turin has been with me as long as I have been in Imythess. Haven't you? Do you think you could take a look around the edge of the lack little one. You know what I'm looking for."

"Of course! I'm much faster then you are at that!" Turin told AD telepathicly once more and gave a luxurious stretch. With a flit of his wings, he took to the air, zipped around AD once, then both AD and Alice, and then started off in his search around the lake. It didn't take long for him to be out of sight.

"I only have seen one other dragon here. I believe it's Gregory Faust's, the God of Light. I think it would take an incredible amount of work to find a full sized dragon. Though it might be more then worth the effort. I don't have the time to go on such a venture as of now. Perhaps though..." She paused, thinking about it. How useful would it be to have a dragon ally? Would it have to travel the distances she skipped? Perhaps it wouldn't be such a good idea. It would be worth the research though, wouldn't it?

DornKoon - June 1, 2008 08:49 PM (GMT)
Alice was just about to say something when the voice in her head began to talk with her. "The abyss? Why we have not been there in ages" it said and Alice raised an eyebrow. Aether could see that Alice looked surprised but also dreaming as if she was thinking of something else. "What? Wait a second, I think I understand." she shook her head and sighed. "Why did I not see it before?" The voice laughed. "Well that is simple, it was because you was not ready to see it. That´s all. We are one after all and I did want you to find out about it yourself" Alice was suprised that the voice called itself IT. It had never done that before. How odd. To Aether Alice was not talking at all, all this happened inside her head after all.

Alice turned her gaze to Aether again, she knew that the woman would know what she was. There was no doubt about it, but like the sorceress cared? No she did not, it was just good that way. "I see" she said and her voice was still as before. "Well that sounds very intreresting, the abyss? Now that is sure a place I would have my birthday party" she laughed and gave the woman a bright smile. She raised her eyebrow when Aether talked about the god of light. "I see, well I have never seen his dragon...or meet this god of light. Must be a boring man by the sound of it, all shiny and angel-looking? Flying around telling all how bad darkness is? My that makes me so sick....sorry if I say so since I do not know what you think about it, but I think you understand my problem Aether, since your in a demonic guild and all." she tilted her head a little to the side as she looked at Aether.

Aether Draka - June 1, 2008 10:23 PM (GMT)
AD smiled and shook her head, then sat down on the log she had been on just moments before. "Actually, I met him before he was the God of Light. Twice, no three times. I would love to take a little trip back up to the Cathedral of Light and help him redecorate." AD's eye became darker and her smile became more of a grimace. "I think his blood and the blood of all those he bosses around without a second thought would make those brightly glowing walls a lovely color of red."

She shook her head and took a deep breath. She still wasn’t ready to do that, not yet. She would get to that point soon enough though. "Of course, I can't do that just yet. There are a few other things planned and I have some dear friends of mine who would absolutely love to give me a hand with it. In the mean time, would you like to visit the guild? That's if you're interested." She wasn't in a hurry, she didn't have to worry about hurrying. She should have time, shouldn't she? How long did it take to get to Cascadea and then to Taras? She had never really taken the time to think about it.

DornKoon - June 1, 2008 10:41 PM (GMT)
She smiled and moved her gaze up towards the sky. "Yes I can see that for my inner eyes, that color would be something really nice, red and white is a good combination." she looked at the woman again and her eyes had changed from before, they had lost parts of there green color, they where now golden and glowed in a sinister way.

She smiled when she heard about her plans. "Then let me tell you this Aether. I would be more then happy to help you with you goal, I have some persona matters that I would like the leader of light to answer for. Nothing important really, just that his belief ruined my life." she sounded calm since that was behind her now, but she was going to make them pay for it, that was for sure. "I have my own theories about the gods, some things that I think would weaken them greatly. I´m sure you know about it since you have a way to know much" she smiled to herself when she thought about the plan. To weaken the god by killing the once who prayed on it, creating disbelief in the gods powers and to make people stop believing in the god itself. That way there would be nothing to empower the god and it would be weaker. A god needed people to pray to them to gain there powers. It was a hard plan but Alice was in no hurry at all.

Alice pretended that she was thinking about the question Aether gave her, because of course she wanted to join the guild. Even more since it looked like they had the same goal as herself. To remove the god of light? But Alice would not stop there, she would get her share of power one day...and then people would see how weak she really was. Yes they would see. "I find your guild fascinating and I would be more then happy to join it. I think it could be a promising work your up to accomplish."

Aether Draka - June 2, 2008 11:45 PM (GMT)
She smiled, glad to find another ally against the one she hated so very much. She had many reasons to hate him after all. He had threatened to kill her many times, had scarred the palm of what had been her dominant hand so her fighting skills were lessoned. It was because of him she had learned summoning, as she didn't know anyone else to ask and wasn't about to ask him for his help again. He had gone against her wishes for him not to harm her best friend, then tried to kill him, and then, when she was just trying to find out why Raven had left her he had tried to save her by attempting to rip her soul apart. Now if he was willing to admit his mistakes and correct them, then she would let him be as long as he let the guild be. If not, she had quite a few allies to call on now.

"Alright, then the question is, are you able to travel to Cascadea and back to Taras in less then two days? If not, I'll just have to show you the hall after our bit of fun in Taras, which you would be free to join in. I'm not sure what our Guild Master has in store, but it should be interesting."

AD smiled then. The more people, the more interesting this venture to Taras was going to be. What Lynthaer had in mind exactly though... She had yet to find out.

DornKoon - June 2, 2008 11:56 PM (GMT)
Alice thought about what Aether said, yes she would have no problem to move around the land, most of the time she used her magic to make people take her with them when they where going to some place, to alter there memories was useful and they all treated her very well that way. She smiled to herself when she thought about this. Then she suddenly returned back to reality and she focused her eyes on Aether, "Well I think it should be no problem to do that in two days, if one does it the right way of course." she said thoughtfully. "But one could do like you said and take it after the little fun in Taras, could be nice with some fun anyway. Since you don´t know why Taras it will be even more fun...I love surprises." she smiled at the woman and it was a childish smile but with something else in it, something wicked and corrupted.

((This was short, but one will have to live with it. ^_^))
