Through his entire lift, the decisions that made him what he was never held so much importance to him as the current. To tell the truth, he was scared and worried what might entail from such a thing. Not only was he going behind the back of the only one he truly cared and had cared about him, but he was following the advice of a strange person. Manic had been the one to mention such a thing to him, but with as little as he knew about the God’s, he figured his best bet may lay in the hands of this Goddess...The Goddess of Nature. For a long while he considered this, first settling upon that of the Light, but eventually settled upon Nature to seek help from.
It seemed odd, so very odd to ask the help of another, especially since all throughout his life everything he did fell upon the whims and decisions of himself, never relying upon another’s to get him by. Now...Now he was asking the help of a strange woman, one he had never met before to fix him. To make him something that he never got a chance to be and to live happily. Despite everything that Cordelia told him, there would be no happiness for him until this got resolved and this was his one and only shot. Whether this woman could or would help him was something that worried him. But at least if he had asked, then there would be no doubt in his mind or any false hopes that he could or couldn’t get his body back to its original state. From there…And only from that point, could he go on living the way he was, or living anew in a life that was more fit for him.
Perhaps then could he be accepted for the kid he truly was, instead of the monster and creature he appeared as to those who didn’t understand. The soft lavender orbs of his eyes settled upon the massive tree before him, sizing it up in his mind, before proceeding up the spiraling stairway until he reached a large doorway. Pausing momentarily, the small curled fist that was his hand proceeded to knock upon the large door, before moving to place both of his hands against its rough surface. Leaning his frame forward, each of his legs would outstretch and the tips of his toes would lift to thrust himself against the door, only to use his hands and arms to aid him in pushing it open. Stumbling in through the threshold in the wake of the doors swing, the hall would open up to him.
Blinking a couple of times, Kaiden’s eyes would flicker briefly across this and that, before settling off into the distance of the hall, patiently waiting for whoever owned such a structure to step forth to greet him or shoo him off, whichever came first. While he waited though, he would make sure that the cloak which hugged his small frame was pulled tightly across his neck and shoulders to hide any indication from sight. With that done, the child would then plop down onto his rump on the floor, crossing each of his legs to get more comfortable for the time being. Since he didn't plan to be leaving anytime soon, regardless if she wished him to or not..
